I waited over 5 hours for another company, when I canceled and rebooked I got a great, professional driver who called and said he would be at my home in 30 minutes. He showed up on time was thorough and made sure to be very careful loading my Gladiator. He was a XJ guy from Big Bear and held a great conversation for our 30 minute drive and made sure everything was done correct before leaving at the dealer. This tow company was called for an illegal tow. The driver was abusive to 76yr old lady. got up in her face raised his arm (pic) was taken on his anger. If this is how Roadrunner does business then go back to using Cals Towing they never let you down. Great customer service, awesome drivers. Richard arrived in a blue tow truck marked road runner (I believe I have the right company). He was sent by god at 1am when my Tesla died on the road and Tesla Roadside refused to send anyone out to get me to a charging station. I called my insurer and they had him put in half an hour. This company is greedy and does not care about the car owner. Was forced to tow my running car approximately 3 miles and was charged $400. The office was not willing to work with me on this fee. I'm sure the driver had never been happier to take a "job." Even scrapped my tailpipes on the way onto the truck. Also picking up my car it has a flat tire, which I did not have before. This place is complete bullcrap, if your insurance agency happens to issue them for a rescue cancel it right away and request another company!!!! Tammy & Jessica are super unprofessional and scam artist, they get mad when the truth is told !! allstate has issued me a fee to pay them $25.00 upon arrival .. when the driver got here he charged me $45.00 .. i mentioned to him why ? His exact words were i have to use special equipment and take care of your car more.. i said ok whats your special equipment.. he then says 2 pieces of wood so your car can fit . I didnt wanna get rude with driver or no one . I then called jessica and tammy and notified them about the fee there driver is charging me and they said yes you have to pay that .. but i had spoke to jessica before hand and she also said it was a fee of $25.00 upon arrival of driver. She then got mad cause i didnt wanna pay $45 only what was charged initially and she canceled my tow.. becareful with this scamming company!! Went up for a hike to big falls & our car broke down a mile away from the destination. The price was 350$ per hour. We asked if it it would be cheaper if it wasn't the full hour & he said no it's minimum an hour. We had no choice but to take the hour. The guy drove us down the hill which wasn't even 15 minutes. He dropped us off into a gas station & said we could call triple A. He was unwilling to take us to a Firestone which was about another 15 min ride. He said he couldn't go that way because he had to drive back up for another job! Uhm?!?!???????? Hello?? Sooo? What the hell did we pay a fee of an hour for????? This is ridiculous, honestly being stranded & having your day ruined is already unpleasant. But having to pay that a $350 service only to be left stranded somewhere else .... My Car had the tread completely ripped off but the tire didn't pop. Went thru my car insurance and they told me it would be 45 mins.. 12 mins later, Road Runner showed up and got my vehicle on the tow truck with ease and quickness. The driver who towed was so nice and friendly and explained me where he was going to and the steps to be taken. Once I made it to the front desk to give all my information I was mistreated. She was rude, didn't even let me talk. I was coming from having a car crash and she had zero empathy. When I went to pick up my car and pay all the fees she treated me like a thief. Even told the insurance towing driver to make sure to verify my identity and all my information was according to the insurance to avoid future problem, Like advising him.
