Customer service is awful. The technicians are nice but the lady behind the desk is so rude.

Run away from this company. Total shady business practices. My two kids were in a car with a friend and they needed a tow for less then a mile. Roadrunner Towing was called out and when they got to the home where the car was being dropped off at, the tow truck driver charged them $395 in cash. My daughter and two others tried to use their cards, but they were told the system was down for cards. Seems VERY suspect. Then I call today and was quoted $120 for a tow 1 mile or less. I told the lady that my kids were charged $395 in cash last night and then she said "oh yeah, that's the price if police make the call." I bet! That's totally BS and she knows it. If anything the police would have a better rate, not a more expensive one. I know what the driver did and she does too. He took advantage of a situation, demanded cash and now is hiding behind "policy". I'm a small business owner and know how to treat a customer, and Roadrunner Towing in Yucaipa should be ashamed of themselves for what they did to kids. I certainly will not ever give business to shady companies like this. read more

Do not let this unprofessional towing company tow any of your vehicles. These people are dishonest people and do not own up to their mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes but it's up to a company to have integrity and own up to it. They broke my steering column upon towing my vehicle and they denied any wrong doing. Just know if you use this company and something goes wrong you will be out of time money and stress! read more

I waited over 5 hours for another company, when I canceled and rebooked I got a great, professional driver who called and said he would be at my home in 30 minutes. He showed up on time was thorough and made sure to be very careful loading my Gladiator. He was a XJ guy from Big Bear and held a great conversation for our 30 minute drive and made sure everything was done correct before leaving at the dealer. If anyone is looking for a local tow, these are the guys. Thank you again for being very professional! read more

I don't remember his name but the brother from Big Bear called me and could not have been more helpful and positive with the entire process. He made sure everything was gonna be a-ok and gave me some helpful advice for the auto shop, made me feel like I was talking to the sweetest uncle ever. Love you man keep on rocking. I had to get the drop off location changed last minute and Hannah nearly gave herself a heart attack when the computer wasn't working and I couldn't be more thankful for how urgently she worked with me. Mad props to her . Thanks y'all for making sure my fucked up Tacoma got where she needed to be safely. For anyone wanting to know if these guys are legit, there the best I've ever had, and I've dealt with a lot of tow companies. read more

Richard arrived in a blue tow truck marked road runner (I believe I have the right company). He was sent by god at 1am when my Tesla died on the road and Tesla Roadside refused to send anyone out to get me to a charging station. I called my insurer and they had him put in half an hour. Thank you again to this company he is a professional and towed with extreme precision into the Tesla charging stations. read more

This tow company was called for an illegal tow. The driver was abusive to 76yr old lady. got up in her face raised his arm (pic) was taken on his anger. If this is how Roadrunner does business then go back to using Cals Towing they never let you down. Great customer service, awesome drivers. Polite, very funny and takes time to chat no matter how busy they are. RECOMMEND CALS TOWING. not associated with Cals any way shape or form.Get away from Roadrunner tow. read more

This company is greedy and does not care about the car owner. Was forced to tow my running car approximately 3 miles and was charged $400. The office was not willing to work with me on this fee. I'm sure the driver had never been happier to take a "job." Even scrapped my tailpipes on the way onto the truck. Also picking up my car it has a flat tire, which I did not have before. They basically told me to pay or let them keep the car. Not a great business and would not recommend. read more

Tammy & Jessica are super unprofessional and scam artist, they get mad when the truth is told !! allstate has issued me a fee to pay them $25.00 upon arrival .. when the driver got here he charged me $45.00 .. i mentioned to him why ? His exact words were i have to use special equipment and take care of your car more.. i said ok whats your special equipment.. he then says 2 pieces of wood so your car can fit . I didnt wanna get rude with driver or no one . I then called jessica and tammy and notified them about the fee there driver is charging me and they said yes you have to pay that .. but i had spoke to jessica before hand and she also said it was a fee of $25.00 upon arrival of driver. She then got mad cause i didnt wanna pay $45 only what was charged initially and she canceled my tow.. becareful with this scamming company!! Went up for a hike to big falls & our car broke down a mile away from the destination. The price was 350$ per hour. We asked if it it would be cheaper if it wasn't the full hour & he said no it's minimum an hour. We had no choice but to take the hour. The guy drove us down the hill which wasn't even 15 minutes. He dropped us off into a gas station & said we could call triple A. He was unwilling to take us to a Firestone which was about another 15 min ride. He said he couldn't go that way because he had to drive back up for another job! Uhm?!?!???????? Hello?? Sooo? What the hell did we pay a fee of an hour for????? This is ridiculous, honestly being stranded & having your day ruined is already unpleasant. But having to pay that a $350 service only to be left stranded somewhere else .... I literally wanna cry. read more

Absolute trash towing company, don't trust these liars with your car! I waited over 2 hours for them to come and say they can't do anything and refuse to tow it. I knew you couldn't do anything, that's why I needed it towed. They will lie to you, waste your time, then lie to you again, and leave you stranded. management of this place the reason this company is trash. Stole $300 out of my backpack in the trunk. Charged me $800 for overnight impound. $800 for a tow from Crestline to yucaipa.

Albert Draper saved my day! He was referred to us by Mercedes Benz roadside assistance after my tire got busted by unforeseen road conditions. Estimated time was 80 min but he beat the clock by 30 min. He took responsibility into his own hands and ensured everything was properly taken care of. He was beyond helpful and this was the best experience I've had with towing companies yet! Despite the stress and nerves brought upon me from the mishap, he calmed the situation down and safely brought the car to the dealership. Couldn't have asked for better service! read more

Made an appointment and they reschedule three times, and still never showed. They took the 1000 and never showed to pick up the car.

Michelle was an amazing driver. Got me and my car home safely. Made small talk avoiding the awkward silence that sometimes comes along with a tow ride home with strangers. Michelle took care of everything. I didn't get bothered with paperwork, payment issues, extra fees etc. Definitely made it a simple and smooth process. read more

Stranded in the Mountains on New Year's Eve. Over 18 hours total waiting for AAA. Road Runner was dispatched from Yucaipa and arrived 90 minutes later. I didn't catch my driver's name, but he was great! The driver who towed was so nice and friendly and explained me where he was going to and the steps to be taken. Once I made it to the front desk to give all my information I was mistreated. She was rude, didn't even let me talk. I was coming from having a car crash and she had zero empathy. When I went to pick up my car and pay all the fees she treated me like a thief. Even told the insurance towing driver to make sure to verify my identity and all my information was according to the insurance to avoid future problem, Like advising him. I sadly didn't even ask her name. They should really address it to fix it and this not let other costumer have the same experience. read more
