Parking 5/5 Arrived at 10ish. Busy lot in strip mall with shared parking. No problem finding parking. Atmosphere 5/5 Lots of Country and Patriotic splash throughout. It may take you a minute to take it all in but it's fun and comfortable here. The place was bustling with patrons and the waiting list was growing with some waiting outside. The restaurant has multiple dining rooms and larger than you might think from the outside. With the assistance of the hostess we've took the room immediately to the right to accommodate our large party of 9. . Service 5/5++ Today's we were served by Madison our ambassador for our group today. She was all smiles and provided our large group with a superb breakfast experience. Our group all selected a wide variety of breakfast items and Madison had it all timed well from the kitchen which says allot about her but also the amazing kitchen getting the groups orders out! Everyone enjoyed their breakfast. I chose their Mushroom and Swiss omelette, country style potato's, pan fried jalapeños with wheat bread toast. Cozy Corner Cafe, Madison did a great job for us today and are officially on my Yelp Radar for Breakfast! The hash browns were good, but I like mine quite crispy (crunchy food and eggs go so well together). Coffee and orange juice all around, and a temptation for pancakes made me taste a good chunk from the plate I thought we were 'sharing'. They were very busy, it was brunch time, with all tables occupied but still smiles were seen on the staff's faces. I hadn't been back here in a long time, but I think Cozy Corner will be on my rotation now See you next time!

However, I was met and left with a bad taste in my mouth. No pun intended. The female employee (short hair/glasses) was not the friendliest person, even after I tried being overly nice. I don't know if she was having a bad day or just hates males in general but not a good representation of a place I was eagerly awaiting to try. I first asked if there was a difference in drinks from what was on the menu and up on the board above. She answered snarky, "if it's up on the board and on the menu it's the same" Mind you, one said latte and the other did not, hence the question. I opted with what I normally get. She took my order and then while looking down, stated, "2% milk okay" I said sure then asked if whole was available. You would've thought I had asked for her to go milk the cow and bring it back. She was very annoyed, so I said 2% is fine. I paid for my coffee then stood and watched her began preparing it. I saw her add one quick pump of syrup so I said, could I maybe have one more pump. Again, you would've thought I was about to suck them dry of all syrup. She seemed annoyed and looked at the register and began to say what I assume was they charge for extra, so I quickly said never mind. All in all I was disappointed with my interaction. The coffee was good and the wrap was okay but I dunno if I'd go back.

I don't need my hand kissed or the barista to bow down to me, but just act like its not effort to put a smile in your face. I am spending $20 + for a couple of coffees and cookies. There's a reason so many of the chains, and some smaller businesses, have gone to "Welcome in" and "what are you up to today." I appreciate what they're trying to do - they want to offer a friendly experience; but it actually bugs me, because it comes across as disingenuous. However, all you have to do is say "Hi - what can I get you" or something like that and make it sound like you mean it. I guess what I'm saying is, act like you like your job. The lady who served the coffee was great at the end. Maybe its just me. I'm a boomer and just can't figure out why so many of these coffee places have act like there's nothing to be happy about.
