Also, Longo Toyota can go to hell. Quick story: Mom's Lexus battery was replaced by AAA, but something happened and the engine bay started smoking. Took it to her dealership, Longo Toyota, and was told the coolant leaked into the engine (??) something like that. The total repairs would cost $8k. Absolutely insane. Wanted a second opinion and folks on Reddit recommended this auto shop. Had the car towed here and Chao inspected the damages. He replaced something that only took 2 hours and a $125 part, and the car was totally fixed. In total, he charged us $200. Chao knew we weren't knowledgeable about cars yet was super honest with the repair. I now trust him 100% with all of my future car problems. Did you know there were different time frames in which to have smog checks be valid? I sure didn't. I went in assuming that the smog check I got was a TWO YEAR check up. So I go all year with my tags bad because we couldn't find out why the smog was no good. Come to find out they made the smog check valid for THREE MONTHS. I wasn't planning on selling my car or anything of that nature so I wasn't and still am not sure why this happened. But $74 dollars was how much it cost me to get the smog check from here. The men that work here are really nice but this makes me weary of returning because yes, I am a woman. And yea I did go by myself. I would hate to get ripped off like I did , again. Let alone happen to someone else.

Within only 1 month my car developed significant engine oil and transmission fluid leaks. When I contacted Danny and asked him to address the problem, his response was essentially to "just keep adding oil." I found that completely unacceptable after having transmission oil and engine oil done. I asked him to work with me on a reasonable solution, but he refused to compromise and denied responsibility. I was also never provided a service receipt documenting the transmission oil and engine oil receiot. I expected a professional shop to stand behind its work and at least inspect a serious problem that developed shortly after the repair. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with DC Auto. I would not bring my vehicle back.
