Avoid this place. After having an accident, we took the car here to get repaired. When we went to pick up the car Mike, not sure his role, would only take cash or an insurance check. Both my insurance company and bank (military) are out of state. Had he been clear up front about what forms of payment he accepts, I would have had the insurance mail him the check. But as it stands now, I cannot have my car back. Mike was rude and unprofessional. We will not be back. read more

I got my bumper fixed here after I got rear ended. Bob was great! He was very nice and took care of everything. All I had to do was drop off my car with the insurance quote and he took care of the rest. I got my car 2 days later just like he said I would. Don't ever take your car to this shop! Got my car fixed there after an accident and within less than a year the repairs that were done were literally falling apart. My mechanic said it wasn't done properly and all the parts used were cheap junk yard parts. Now I will have to pay again to have the same work done that they were already paid to do. DO NOT GO TO RIVIERA AUTO BODY!!! They are liars and scam artist! I took my car to them after i was sideswiped. As soon as I got my car back it was making a grinding noise every time I backed up and turned the wheel. I thought that maybe things were just fixed and they were tight and just had to settle back into place. Well within a week as i was backing out of my driveway (thank god i wasn't driving on a highway) I heard a bang and than i couldn't move forward or backwards. My ball bearings, and axel were on the ground and my left front tire was hanging there. I than had it towed back to riviera where i was sure he would apologize and fix whatever was wrong. you know considering the fact that he just got a check for over 7,000 from my insurance company to fix my car!!! Boy was i wrong! He told me that he never touched that side of my car and my ball joint must have rusted out. My car is a 2010 mazda cx9 that had only 50,000 miles on it and never had an accident or a problem before this! I knew that a car only 3 years old and up to date with oil changes couldn't have rusted to that point it just sounded crazy! He told me i'd have to pay out of pocket. I said no way i'm taking it to my regular mechanic and that i will have a tow truck there right away. It was towed to my regular mechanic who confirmed what i thought that there was nothing rusted in my car and that would almost be impossible with a car that new. When he checked my car out he found that from the impact of the collision my axel had bent causing strain on the ball joint and thats why it gave out. Riviera flat out told me before i told him i was removing my car from his shop that a collision on the right side couldn't affect my left side. My mechanic said that is crazy to make such a stupid statement and of course if your hit hard enough on the right side it could affect the parts on the left and it should have been checked from the beginning. Not to mention once my husband called and told him we were bringing the car somewhere else he was gonna fix it and only charge the cost of parts not labor. hmmm was he alittle nervous that my mechanic was gonna be able to tell that he screwed up and nothing was rusted??? My mechanic is in the process of trying to get me a supplemental payment because riviera screwed up my car but if it doesnt go thru i'll be paying out of pocket all because riviera couldn't admit he made a mistake and flat out LIED about rust causing this! Hope that this puts the message out so no one goes thru what i had to go thru with this piece of shit place! I'll also be calling the better business buereau! read more
