    I really love this place. And so dogs my dog!! I take my fur baby here for day care. She gets super excited when I even mention it to her and when we drive around the corner she jumps for joy and runs inside like she owns the place. (Thats says enough on its own) I really love how they take holiday pics of your animals and make them feel extra special on their birthday. My dog muffin got a bday card, a photo and even got to pick out a free toy. You can really tell how much love they have for the animals. I couldn't recommend it enough!!

    I can't say enough good things about Riverwalk pet resort! Healthy snacks and toys available! Loki goes for doggie daycare, playing with pups while I work. I trust my dog with very few! Highly recommend them for all your pet needs. The owner and staff are all very knowledgeable and care about the animals! Thank you so much Amy, Ahylie, Leilani, Victoria and Cindy!

    I've been bringing my doggy here since I adopted him from the shelter. When I got him he had healing wounds and a bad leg. I've tried so hard to get him to trust people again. I picked him up today from grooming and I noticed he had red markings on him. To me it looked like blood. I went back inside to tell them he was bleeding and they told me it was from the sling and that it was a rash. I was so upset because they didn't tell me when I picked him up. I don't fully believe them because he had markings on his neck, chest, leg, and ears. I feel like they handled him rough or put him with another dog. I trusted them with him. He's had such a hard life and it hurts that I put him in a situation where he got hurt. I wouldn't have posted this if they just told me but I had to find the markings on my own.

    Since our first review has been DELETED. I will continue posting this information for awareness on boarding. We left our dogs in early November for our wedding. We called regularly to ask how they are doing because that is the only way to get updates. Every time we called we were told "they're doing good". We confided they were doing good. Upon pick up we were shocked to see one of dogs had a terrible nose scrape his raw skin was pink. We went to ask the receptionist what happened and we were told "they did not know " or that "the evening staff maybe knew". We called several times and they gave us different stories every time, as to he came in like that (which he DIDN'T) we have pictures confirming his state before drop off. Another issue, we were told the dogs were given baby food mixed in to their dog food to stimulate them to eat. We have never gave our dogs baby food and as a result they came home with Diarrhea. Please be advised as to the state our dogs nose is in now (December) and has not yet nor ever will heal.

    Most definitely not the cut I asked for.

    Been bring my my dog here for 2 years or so and the few visits they have been cutting my dogs hair the way they want. So I confronted them abt It. I was never rude. They gave me $35 credit. So I took him back today and the same thing happened today. They cut his hair the way the wanted to. I would have preferred for them to let me know they couldn't do his teddy bear cut. (Mind you they In itially started off giving him the teddy bear cut) so when I let them know that I didn't like the cut and ai was gonna leave a bad, all of a sudden ai ha e been hostile. Riv erwalk pet resort do better. Get some staff with Integrity. To lie on a customer is beyond me. Do better. O/10. Would not recommend. Customer service 0.

    Excellent experience from start to finish. Staff was friendly and showed genuine care for this nervous pet Mom leaving fur baby for multiple nights. Communicated and sent photos and video throughout stay. I definitely have found the spot for my pup when I need doggy daycare or boarding for my little darling! Thank you Riverwalk Pet Resort!

    My dog is 20 years old & has an excellent bill of health from the vet as long as he takes his meds, he's fine. Another boarding place that he always went to turned him down due to his age. It didn't matter to them that he had a clean bill of health from the vet. They flat out refused to board him. So I contacted Riverwalk and they said no problem as long as the vet cleared him and he had his shots. I boarded him here and he was a happy dog. The people here are very nice and obviously love animals. They sent pictures of him to my email and when my husband picked him up, he was in great condition and obviously had done ok there. They were very loving to him when I asked if someone could hold him during his stay, they had a worker spend time with him. This is a great place to board your pet and if your dog is elderly it's not a problem, they keep them in a calmer group of dogs when they play.

    I'd like a trial with my 13# rat terrier. What days are cheaper? What's the rate for 2.5 weeks? As I recall, there are different styles of boarding. What are the costs? Can I visit to watch him during the trial to see how he intermixes at playtime?

    Hello! We don't have cameras for parents but we do send out videos/photos via email and share them on our Instagram page for updates!

    Do you board cats for an extended time?

    They do, yes! They have a great cat area with very happy kitties!

Another facility in Norco, Animal Care Services, said his DTAPP booster needed to be in his system for at least two weeks. Unfortunately, I was only one week away from leaving, and they would not make an exception. When I first called Smart Parke, the staff member I spoke with was very kind and reassuring. She told me I could bring my dog in for a private evaluation and mentioned that he already had an appointment scheduled. Unfortunately, it later turned out that the evaluation had not been booked correctly, which initially added stress to an already overwhelming situation. Despite this, Brooklyn completely stepped in and saved the day. She accommodated me without hesitation, handled everything professionally, and ensured my dog was evaluated properly. He passed with flying colors. From the moment I met Brooklyn, I knew my beloved pup was in good hands. She is clearly confident and comfortable with large dogs and genuinely enjoys her job. She is also wonderful with people. As a worried fur mom, Brooklyn completely put me at ease, calmed my nerves, and gave me confidence that my dog was safe and cared for. The fecal test came back with no issues, and her communication and organization were excellent. When I dropped my pup off, Brooklyn unfortunately wasn't there, and I worked with Brooke instead. Brooke was kind and responsive via email, which I appreciated. However, she did not seem as confident handling large dogs. She did not provide a collar long enough for my dog's neck and asked me to put it on myself. When I asked how long each of his three daily one-on-one sessions would be and what they entail -something I felt was important given the $150 per night charge--she was unsure and gave me an answer but initially made no effort to find out or confirm the answer. After I insisted, she called out to a manager who was sitting nearby with her door open, to which the manager gave a different response - the manager did not come speak with me until the very end and barely addressed me. Lastly , Brook said I would get a report card daily and when I didn't get one for the first day I emailed the store to which Brooklyn clarified the report cards are for regular boarding and didn't come with private. Despite this I ended up getting one each day which put our whole family at ease. While Brooke was polite and responsive, she appeared somewhat intimidated by my dog and lacked some key knowledge. That said, she did follow up promptly and answered emails, which I am grateful for. Overall, I give Smart Parke a 10/10 specifically for Brooklyn and the system she runs. She is exceptional with dogs and people alike, and her professionalism, confidence, and willingness to accommodate made all the difference in what could have been a very stressful experience.

    I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Smart Parke's customer service -…read morespecifically with Brooklyn - was beyond unacceptable. If I worked in an establishment where quality of care and hospitality is on the forefront, I would put her in the back of the house - immediately. She has no business answering customer inquiries, she's a detriment to your establishment and reputation at that. I'm truly appalled at what I experienced. On May 8th, I texted to reserve a vaccine clinic spot for my dog and was told I'd receive a follow-up call to collect payment and hold the appointment. I never received a call. A week later, I reached back out only to be told the clinic was fully booked because "they've been busy." What pushed this from frustrating to completely appalling was Brooklyn's behavior afterward. I asked if I could speak with another representative or manager. Instead of handling that professionally, she mockingly changed her tone and said "hello" as if she had transferred me to someone else -only to then admit it was still her. It was immature, rude, and incredibly disrespectful. When I explained I'd still like a manager to call me back, her response was: "She's going to tell you the same thing, just so you know we still won't be able to take your dog." The issue is not just that they dropped the ball on scheduling. Mistakes happen. The issue is the complete lack of follow-through, accountability, and basic professionalism afterward. Mocking customers who are calmly trying to resolve an issue is unacceptable in any business, especially one people trust with their pets. If this is how concerns are handled, I would strongly advise you to reconsider
