Our German shepherd husky Cinder is a bomb of fur 24/7. She moves, floofs. Autumn did such a great job with her! I haven't had to vacuum in 2 days and usually it's 4 times a day! I had started to think there was just nothing to be done with the excess shedding. But I was wrong! She just needed the right kind of deshedding professional! They have great customer service, they got out of their way to accommodate you and they even call you when they have a cancellation so that you can come in earlier. My shitzu never seems terrified when I pick her up. She is happy and wags her tail. They do their best at what you request for your pet, if not- they let you know. Love this place. I've taken in 3 dogs so far. Two are foster dogs and very frightened to have their nails trimmed. Missy was so kind and patient with them. My new foster girl Patches had lost half of her fur. We hadn't yet taken her to the vet. I asked Missy if she'd seen this skin problem before? She said Patches smelled very yeasty. The light bulb just went off! I took her home gave her a medicated bath and started her on an anti-yeast diet. Thanks to Missy my bald girl has fur growing back on all but her tummy. I'd taken my Boudreaux to 6 locations for a nail trim. Only one vet tech was able to cut his nails at a rate of $35. each time. Missy had no problems and her price was less than half. AAfter trying many pet grooming places, I finally found this hidden gem. It was tucked in the back of a small strip center. Here are the reasons I have 5 stars: every time I called, they always answered the phone within seconds. They are very flexible with the appointment time. I've brought my dog here for a few years now. My dog is very timid and afraid of nail trims, which I usually explain to whoever is taking him. Most of the workers are really understanding and accommodating. There is one worker who my dog is especially resistant to so I tried my best to avoid taking him when that worker is there. The worker always looked annoyed to see us. There was a time when I went and asked for an anal gland expression which I know is not the most fun service to give, and this worker glared when taking him. This past Saturday, the worker happened to be the only one available to take my dog. I made the unfortunate decision to allow them to take my dog, for the sake of time. The nail trim itself was done poorly with the ends being jagged and uneven. It didn't even look like his nails were trimmed much at all. I am not sure what occurred during this nail trim since they take him to another room but about an hour later, we noticed my dog had blood in the whites of one of his eyes. I thought maybe he had scratched his eye. I took him to a vet the next day and after testing, the vet said he had bruising under his eye. There was no scratch so it had to be caused by a hit or bump. I am not saying the worker intentionally hurt my dog but the timing is suspect. Although my dog and I have had great experiences with some of the workers (shoutout to Nidia for always being very kind and gentle with my dog), I will not be returning. I urge people who are bringing their pets here to be extra vigilant. read more

I was in a panic because I had treated my cat for fleas and he still have many live fleas and larva on him which persisted despite two rounds of flea treatment. He has super thick and long hair. I messaged the owner to see what my options were as I was at my wits end. I ended up calling her and she instructed me not to use anymore chemicals. She suggested bathing him. I told her it was my only day off and she was so accommodating and got me and my kitty right in! You can tell she really loves animals. In addition she suggested a flea spray that's natural and you can spray in your house. She was able to get all the fleas off of him. I picked up my kitty and he was clean and happy. The grooming place at PetSmart cancelled on me last minute and I had a scheduled photoshoot with my dogs that same day for my graduation from my veterinary nursing program. I was very disappointed and I thought I was going to have bathe them myself. I don't know own all the right tools and I figured I was going to probably end up messing up my back also. Lehla was a bit excited and didn't particularly want to get her nails trimmed, it took the two of us to keep her still. And Even though it was near closing the groomer was friendly and patient with both Lehla and myself and she was knowledgeable about my dogs skin allergy on her feet. I'm in an apartment and the cause of the allergy is from the pesticides being sprayed onto the grass.
