Our dog enjoys staying at Ruff House. It's clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly. We like that we can check in on her on the webcam in the play area. They give a report card of how she did and sometimes photos. The only negative is how they are closed for two hours every day for lunch. We always forget about it until we go to pick our dog up and then have to figure out something to do for an hour until they reopen. Another time we went to drop her off right before a trip and they were closed again. read more

Penelope LOVES coming to ruff house for daycare. All the dogs get a break in the middle of the day, which is great for a dog who otherwise would never stop running! We now have Halloween and Easter photos that they take on their cute backdrops, and on other days they have special add ons available like treat puzzles. They also take great care to make sure all dogs are healthy and safe around each other, which I appreciate so much. Penelope recently also did her first overnight boarding stay. I was nervous about leaving her, but she did great and the staff were happy to answer my questions and give updates while she was there. She also got a report card upon getting picked up! My poodle Ozzy loves Ruff House! Every time we pull up to the gate, he gets super excited. He always runs up to greet the staff and let them know he is ready to play without even a second glance my way! I love Ruff House too, the staff really do love their job. The best part is the cameras in the play yard. It always warms my heart to see staff loving on the dogs. They are also very patient, Ozzy can be a pill, but they always have nice things to say and give him appropriate breaks when he needs them! We use both the day care and boarding and honestly I wouldn't trust anyone else with my precious boy. He always comes home tired, healthy and happy! Just the way I want him this ball of energy to be after a day at day care! They have recently started doing special things on certain days. I absolutely LOVE Ruff House! When I got my baby Margot (the macaroni noodle) I knew that I wanted to socialize her and give her a place where she could run around and play safely! Major bonus that they have a pool for how these little space heaters warm up in our summer months. Not only are all the staff incredibly kind and wonderful, they send photos occasionally of your pup, will share little stories about them if you bring your pups often, keep a careful eye on temperament and injuries, have SO many additional activities AND have amazing trainers/staff members. Michelle the GM is incredible and funny and kind! Every time I bring Margot in she is so friendly. I've read reviews on here before that say otherwise and I'm going to tell you they are totally wrong. Totally. Wrong. I honestly adore her and her staff! Anyway, Miss macaroni loves this place!! And when I travel for work, I love knowing I can bring her somewhere she is so safe and comfortable. When I first started to bring her I'd watch her on the web cam to see how she was doing. She hid a lot the first time or two (she was only about 4 months at the time). Now if I watch after I drop her off all I see is her running amok looking for new friends to play with. I started bringing my pup here about two years ago. He is a German Shepherd Husky mix who can be very timid around new spaces, anxious about being alone, and stubborn. I had never trained or had a dog on my own before. Ruff House was a godsend. Stitch was 7 months old when Sarah helped train him through the 3-week board-and-train program. She worked wonders and was undoubtedly worth the investment. We were able to go to coffee shops and study, he let little kids stick fingers in his nose, go on off-leash hikes, and set the foundation for cohabitating with cats. The staff is fantastic and so supportive. Even after training, Sarah would check in and help me tweak things to improve behavior. Every time we pull into the driveway, he gets so excited. Whether it's daycare, boarding, or a spa day, Ruff House is my go-to. They are the place I can count on to love Stitch as much as I do. read more

The Ruff House is amazing!! Castiel hates riding in the car, but as soon as we get to "school" he perks right up and races me to get in the front door! The staff here is incredible! You can tell that they really enjoy seeing all the pups. They always let me know how my pup did during the day and knowing that I can check in on the cameras during the day to see him playing is pretty cool too! They have several events during the month that your pup can participate in for training and stimulation. I also love that they do holiday photos too! I'm not sure what the "interview" is for. The website insists that the dogs be scheduled for an interview. So I scheduled my dogs for an interview, made sure all my paperwork was in order, brought my dogs 30 minutes away to Riverside, only to be told that my dogs won't even be interviewed unless they are "socialized." The woman was polite enough to refer me to another boarder "just on the other side of the freeway." So I packed up my dogs, herded them into the car, and drove them back home without even the courtesy of the "interview," whatever that is for. My recommendation is not to bother calling this business unless your dog spends a lot of time with other dogs. My two dogs only spend time with each other. My dogs are sweethearts, as Ruff House would have learned, had they deigned to grant us the "interview" that we had gone there for. read more

We absolutely love the Ruff House! They treat our dog like he is one of their own, and we always know that he will be safe and taken care of while we are away for the day or a trip. Once you have done the meet & greet and have been accepted as a customer, it is extremely easy to use their daycare and boarding services. Our dog gets so excited when we approach the lobby door and greets all of the front office staff when we enter. We did the 3 week Boot Camp for our 3 & 1/2 yr old Bulldog. Wow. Amazing. He would literally drag me when I would try to walk him. And my husband would constantly complain of his arm hurting from Titus pulling on the leash. Now I can walk him and no pulling. He will sit, stay down, stay, place. In response to the accusation made in the reply from the business: Please do not make false accusations, that is NOT in anyway true. No threats were made, other then letting you guys know that the condition Zeus was in was completely UNACCEPTABLE! I also was upset that no solution was even attempted to be made, other than your GM explaining that it was beyond her authority to make this correct- in which i would need to speak to the owner. Please take a moment and put your need to save the reputation of your business away and explain to me who would not be upset when their dog, show dog or not, is practically mutilated from your place of business. No threats were made, do not deflect that actual problem here, you have still provided no reasonable explanation as to how this happened. I did notify your GM that if the issue was beyond his horrific injury, there would be a bigger issue here because yes, this is is private area and it can possibly affect his ability to reproduce. Never the less, you still have not made an attempt to rectify this situation. Im disgusted by your response, again, shame on you. ------ This was not our Corsos' first stay with Ruff House Pet Resort. After our boys first stay with them he caught kennel cough, we did not make a fuss simply because we are aware it can be a common issue in boarding facilities. For this particular stay, Zeus stayed with Ruff House pet resort from 7/18/23-7/20/23. It was a hot day so we quickly ran ZEUS to the truck (to prevent paw burn) and had him hop into the backseat of the truck. When we arrived home we noticed Zeus' testicles were completely red/burnt. I immediately called Ruff House to notify them of negligence of their care, I spoke with two front desk clerks who both claimed the issue is beyond their authority & said that Marty (the owner) would need to be the one to contact me. They asked for pictures to be emailed to them but given the circumstances, I withheld emailing them any additional information to help them "build a story" as to what may have happened. Initially I thought it may have been from prolonged sun exposure, but upon taking Zeus to the vet, the vet related this to a chemical burn. I asked for a complete refund of my dogs stay and for the place of business to cover the costs of the vet- I have yet to receive any phone call from the owner. I am DISGUSTED BY THE LACK OF CONCERN OR CARE FROM THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS. This could have been handled in a more respectful manner on part of the owner, but it's clear their is a lack of concern for animals- not a smart move considering this entire "business" is ran off of caring for pets! SHAME ON YOU MARTY AND STAFF. read more

Yesterday My K9 was bitten and the owner of Ruff House Pet Resort took immediate action in contacting & keeping me informed, presumably, from the time the fight occurred step by step, until the time she left the emergency department that accepted her. By the looks of the location & size of the wound, if the staff hadn't persistently sought emergency pet care, rejection after rejection, Today, I'd have picked up the corpse of a dog. This place the Ruff House took excellent care of my 13 year old terrier! They have cameras and you can check on your pet at least 2-3 times per day! They gave her a bath, trimmed her nails, and brushed her teeth! I highly recommend this place if you need to board your pet overnight. I just recently started taking my puppy, Coco, to Ruffhouse to get some of that puppy energy out and to socialize and I am so happy that I did! She was definitely exhausted her first time!
