I am so absolutely stoked to have found Ally and her team! I needed a last minute boarding service for a unexpected emergency since my normal sitter was out of town. The Dog Camp seemed like the perfect option. My dog Canelo is a Hungarian Vizsla and while they are absolutely lovely dogs, they are prone to separation anxiety, which always makes me nervous when leaving him with strangers. Ally made it very clear that she understood what my dogs needs were, even stating she and her team had ample experience with this breed. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism throughout my experience with the Dog Camp. I will absolutely be back since Canelo seemed to be very comfortable in their hands. Thank you!

It makes my heart so happy seeing my dog Miko light up with excitement when he sees The Dog Camp car pull up. It eases my mind knowing he's having lots of fun and being well taken care of. They offer hiking and even paddle boarding for your pups! I also love that they provide AirTags as a safety precaution and send the cutest pictures. These activities are great for high energy breeds who need a break from doggy daycare or their usual walks. I highly recommend them!

Pups enjoying their warm welcome to The Dog Camp!

Wow! What a phenomenal place! Our pups stayed a week with The Dog Camp and let's just say they were pampered, loved and well taken care of. They went above and beyond for our fur babies. We have a special needs pup and they took such great care of him... we were so relieved and were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that he was taken care of properly. They sent pictures and videos daily which helped us feel more at ease. The pups loved their pack walks and hikes too! They even put our special needs pup in a wagon on longer walks Ruby and Ally (along with their dog loving family) stepped up and took such great care of our pups. Thank you again Dog Camp- Cooper and Samus say "woof!"

We just picked up our dog from a 3 week board and train with Carissa, and we are beyond happy with…read morethe results. Throughout the entire process, she consistently communicated with us and always replied whenever we texted for updates or photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dog was reactive to people, other dogs, motorcycles, bikes, and more, and we already saw such a huge improvement even on the car ride home. You can tell how much time, patience, and care Carissa puts into her training. Carissa even met us halfway to pick her up as we lived a little far from her. When we picked our dog up, Carissa spent over an hour teaching us everything we need to know to continue reinforcing the commands and training at home. She made sure we felt confident before leaving. She even offered to come to our house afterward if we struggled with anything, which really shows how dedicated she is to both the dogs and their owners. We're so grateful for all her hard work and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trainer!

We used Cari for a 2-week board and train for our dog, Chorizo. During the training period,…read morecommunication was limited and we often had to follow up ourselves to get updates. At the same time, we were seeing our dog being posted on Instagram more than we were getting direct updates, even after we asked for them. She pinned Chorizo on her Instagram, in the number one post slot, while we hadn't heard from her in three days and didn't even know he was going on a field trip. This was especially difficult for my wife, who had recently lost her father and was already going through a lot. Being separated from our dog was hard on her. We asked multiple times for updates so we could reassure her, but it never felt like we were getting the same level of feedback other reviewers experienced. The training experience didn't match what we expected. Recall still needs work, and "place" became more confusing. Before, he would go where I pointed. Now he tries multiple spots and flinches (expecting a stim), even after we bought him a cot. We asked Cari to introduce Chorizo to our e-collar (EZ Educator). During the consultation, she mentioned that he would learn recall and other commands to near perfection before the e-collar was introduced, and that vibration would be used before stim. The handoff only showed e-collar stim commands, and vibration was not introduced. His recall without the e-collar still needs work. We never received a clear breakdown of what he was working on during the program and mostly followed his progress through Instagram. After pickup, I had to follow up just to get a list of commands. The handoff felt rushed. He was exhausted, it was a hot day, and she had forgotten a water bowl, so a lot of the time was spent just letting him drink water. There was no follow-up afterward to see how he was doing. A few hours after getting him back that Friday, we took him to a groomer who pointed out a cracked toenail down to the quick and irritation on his neck from his e-collar. The groomer said the irritation looked like burns from an e-collar that hadn't been rotated and advised us to monitor his paw to make sure it didn't get worse. We took it easy and avoided taking him out while he healed, but by Tuesday his paw started bleeding. We notified Cari and let her know we would be taking him to the vet after my scheduled surgery. I had carpal tunnel release surgery on both hands that Wednesday, and I took him to the vet while recovering on Thursday. He developed an infection and a fever that required sedation, nail removal, and stitches. This whole experience is not what we expected after reading her Yelp reviews. Even trying to work things out with Cari regarding the vet bills, after we negotiated the cost down with the vet and insurance covered a significant portion, was disappointing. We weren't asking for everything, just something fair. The procedure cost about $900 if the dog is sedated. We asked her to participate $350-$380. She offered $100. When I told her that Chorizo was at the vet because his paw was bleeding, her response was, "Ok thank you for the update." We weren't able to reach an agreement and were told, by Cari, that small claims court would be the best way to resolve it, which is what we are now pursuing. Regarding our training equipment, we also had to follow up on two leashes and e-collar prongs that weren't returned after the program. She told my wife she broke the retractable leash and would send a replacement right away, but a week and a half later we still haven't received confirmation that it's been sent. (Edit: retractable leash and prongs received 3/31 via Amazon Prime.)

From our first grooming appt (about a yr ago) to sadly our last in Dec 2025, Jackie was the best! Kind, gentle, patient, compassionate, knowledgeable; always so warm and welcoming for myself and my pup. In March of this year, I called to schedule an appt and was told that Jackie no longer worked there and was provided no explanation or additional info. Needless to say, I was shocked and disappointed. I can't speak to what happened, as I don't know. Fortunately, after a bit of a search, I was able to find Jackie and thankfully, she has moved on with her own business. I'm so grateful I was able to reconnect with her as she's the best groomer we've ever had. As far as the 2 star rating, that stands for the business with regard to their lack of acknowledgement and communication with her clients. This rating by no means represents Jackie, as she is well beyond a 5 star rating! PS...For those of you who are former clients of Jackie and may still be searching for her, I do have contact info so please reach out to me.

I have a crazy schedule, and whenever I need to extend his stay, they are always more than accommodating and willing to help my guy. That flexibility gives me so much peace of mind. The best review comes from F himself though: as soon as I grab his overnight bad and start packing his goods he gets excited because he knows he is going to hang with his furriends. It's comforting to know he's happy and well cared for when I am away. My only request would be a live video feed at the facility so we could watch our dogs playing in the pens. I would love being able to check in and see how much fun they are having!! I highly recommend PSS Upland AND the Pomona lo.
