The nice man at the front was very ecstatic about helping us with our purchase - he definitely sold me some birthday treats with the cake. He also gave us a free sample of some dog food, after rebate. Having such a lovely environment in this cute little shop can make anyone feel very welcomed. From the very beginning, the customer service was wonderful. Max can be a little particular about who he allows to groom him, so finding someone he feels comfortable with isn't always easy. The fact that he did so well with them really says a lot! I also appreciated how knowledgeable they were about his breed and the proper care of his coat. It's reassuring to know he's in good hands with people who truly understand what they're doing. And of course, I absolutely loved how his haircut turned out! He looked adorable! When I started, my 6 month old puppy struggles with really bad separation anxiety, anything loud terrified him and made him try to bolt away. During our training journey had its challenges, especially correcting my bad training behaviors I was taught along time ago that weren't working. Chloe and Emily were there to guide and support me every step of the way and gave me updated tools that actually work! We took our almost 6 month old Whoodle Petey to be trained at CK9. The entire place was spotless…read moreand Heidi welcomed him and explained the training process to us. During the first week there Heidi drew a bead on his intelligence and stubborn nature and let us know that he would need a firm but affectionate hand. She did not let him get away with his reluctance to submit even though he was pouty about it. When we picked him up, we were amazed! He followed our commands during our training session and retained much of what he learned. We had to go out of town for a funeral and then a few days later he was neutered, so he had a disruptive week but has gone back to obeying most of his commands. He even stops at doorways though I forget he is supposed to do it. Petey does have a larcenous side and is a stealthy counter surfer. He needs to be watched carefully and we are trying to tame the bandit in him. Otherwise he is delightful and fun to be around We had a house full of company last weekend and Petey did great with everyone, including two boys aged 10 and 12. Everybody fell in love with our sweet, smart, well behaved boy! We are so grateful to Heidi and EJ for giving us our darling, smart and obedient Petey. We give CK9 the highest praise and would recommend them to anyone who wants a well-mannered, well-trained canine companion. Yay!

Each of our three is completely different, and Heidi took the time to understand each of them individually.
