Had my Lab Retriever (at the time was a year old) back in June of 2025. They tour you around the resort initially, allow you to see the spaces where your dog will sleep and fun areas your dog can participate in. The person that helped me initially was so kind and answered all of my questions - no judgment. It can be scary leaving your pet at a resort for the first time. My vet hospital recommended this place - as their dogs stay here. We were out of state for a few days and they posted our girl on Instagram, and man the joy in her face! It was great to see her while we were away. She was a happy girl here, and a happy girl back at home. Been meaning to make a review to thank the lovely people here for taking such great care of her. Also a plus - the price for the space and even swimming and grooming was super reasonable. In this economy, this did not hurt my wallet. Would 100/10 recommend this place to anyone. read more

We've been boarding our dog Bruno here for years, spending hundreds of dollars each time because we trusted them to care for him like their own. That trust is now completely gone. Last time we picked Bruno up, he came home with an irritated scratch on his nose that they couldn't even explain. We let it go, thinking maybe it was a fluke. But this time? Absolutely unacceptable. Bruno came back to us with dried stool stuck in his fur, reeking of poop, and completely miserable. The staff blamed fireworks -- but we've had Bruno for years and he's never been afraid of fireworks. It felt like a lazy excuse to cover something up. They noted that they found him covered in diarrhea that morning, and mentioned that they "wiped him down", but why was he covered in crusted hard poop if he was cleaned? We give them our money to take care of our dog and they give him back to us stinky and dirty? We were very clear that Bruno has a sensitive stomach and provided his specific kibble with instructions to feed him only that. But based on what happened -- we are convinced they fed him something else. He's been pooping liquid, throwing up, and refusing to eat since we brought him home. He's so restless and acting like he's gravely ill. We're devastated and furious. Our dog's health should never have been compromised like this. For the amount of money we've spent here over the years, we expected professionalism, compassion, and basic competence. Instead, Bruno came home in worse shape than ever before. This is not just disappointing -- it's infuriating. We won't be coming back. read more

Great staff, they love all the animals! Teddy LOVES going, I can't get him to leave. He goes once a week just to play for the day. I know he's in great hands and care! He has stayed there a couple of times when we went out of town. I never worry about him and I love pictures are posted . Soon our new little addition will be joining him for their day there together. My pups (a Brittany Spaniel and Chocolate Lab) stayed here for 7 days while we went on vacation, and they did great! They were treated well, fed well, and got to play with other doggies. Im pretty sure that my dog loves it here! I love that they post to their instagram so you can see your dog during their play time. He is a very reserved dog and takes a bit to trust people, well he's stayed here twice now and he was so excited to go back the second time. We are so grateful because we never expected to feel so comfortable leaving our dog anywhere to stay. They even bathed our guy after he played in the water during his first stay. The only reason I'm taking off one star is due to their policy of not operating on Sundays. We were a bit concerned while on our trip that every time we called to check on our dog they wouldn't pick up. Till the last day, I was able to get a hold of them. Pretty sure my dogs were neglected on their stay here.. I decided to try a boarding place for the first time and left both my pit and my hairless xolo here for 2 days. My hairless xolo came back with scrapes and cuts all over his paws; he has sensitive paws but the wounds have never been this bad. When we picked them up, they said that he was bleeding a bit and that he kept licking the wounds, but they didn't even call us to let us know it happened or to ask us what to do to help the pain, plus his paws could've got infected. ( I see in their response they said we told them this happens all the time and like I said, he does gets tiny cuts sometimes but not huge painful scrapes like he came back with ) They also trimmed the very little hair he has on the tip of his tail without asking or letting us know. I took our own brand new bag of food which we didn't receive back upon pickup (we were only gone 1 full day)... the workers there said they only fed them once a day when I specifically wrote down twice a day and feeding times. I don't think that they even served them the food we left, they both came back constipated which is very unusual. Business is closed on Sunday and that leaves me wondering if they even check up on them at all on that day, tried contacting multiple times on Sunday to check up on them with no answer or a call back. Not to mention I gave my dogs a bath a day prior to dropping them off and they both came back smelling like poop. Won't be boarding our dogs here again after a horrible first experience. read more

My pups stayed here for 10 nights and i was so nervous to leave them but everything went so well! I love that they post on their Instagram so i was able to see them daily. They look like they had so much fun! I was worried because they have never been around other dogs so i didn't know how they'd react but they made so many friends! Like most pet owners, I love my dog like a child so I'm very particular about who I let watch him when I have to go out of town. When I first found Heavenly they were all very kind and they even took me on a tour of their facility. The staff is always very courteous and care immensely about the animals. They also have a lot of activities for the animals such as group and individual outdoor play and pool time. One of the other big things I like about them is that they will post pictures of the pets on social media so I can see how he's doing while I have to be gone. 10/10 I highly recommend this place! read more

I am taking the time to say thank you to Sandy and the entire staff at Heavenly Pet Resort. I was so nervous about taking my pup over there! I have never left Paulo with anyone other than family and we were so happy when we saw Paulo! The staff really seemed to love him! He isn't anxious, or nervous, he is just happy as heck! They played with him every day, gave him treats, made sure he put his thunder coat on him, and said he was a lover. They sent me a picture of him and I felt so happy knowing that he was in the best place possible during the 4th of July. Paulo has new friends! I will definitely take my furry baby here again. He was spoiled. So spoiled, that he keeps following me around barking for more treats. Lolol. I cannot thank you enough for taking care of Paulo. I dropped off my cat, Pepper, here back in October for 5 days. Heavenly Pet Resort was kind enough to let me book a last minute reservation. I called everyday to check on my kitty cat and I'm glad to report that they were very detailed and immersed in conversing with me on how she was doing. They even let me book an extra day, last minute (again). My experience with Heavenly Pet Resort was hassle-free and overall wonderful. However, knowing that I called over a month ago to reserve boarding for my pets as I have a work conference I will be attending. The person working said that there was no record of me calling and reserving a spot for my dogs and that there is no room for them. She asked who I spoke with and I replied I didn't write down their name as I called over a month ago!! She stated sorry there was nothing they could do. So now I'm out of pet boarding g two days before I have my conference. Note to anyone making a reservation get the person name who you spoke with!! I found this place while driving by. The outside looks a little run down but the inside is SO NICE. It really does feel like a pet resort. I dropped my dog off for daycare and he absolutely loved it! When he got home he went right to sleep. The facility was clean, easy to schedule, and had great staff. The only thing is that I wish they had extended hours to make it easy to drop off and pick up when I have work. Overall, I will definitely be booking again! read more

My two dogs were just at HPR this past weekend for the Thanksgiving weekend. The staff there is amazing and I know they love the dogs and cats that stay there. What a nice treat that they were served a thanksgiving dog friendly dinner, so thoughtful! I was a little nervous to see how my terrier would do for her first time there and Sandy was very honest in telling me she prefers humans vs dogs. Thankfully the staff is so caring and friendly to the dogs, she will be back with our lab who I was so happy to hear had a great time! We love Heavenly Pet Resort - I take my little dog there several times a month due to business travel - they give you a choice of having private suite or if your dog is under 25 lbs they can go into the community room. We always have our dog stay in the community room - she loves to play and there are always other playful pups in there with her. The staff is truly caring. They know her and she knows them.
