That's my little baby in the picture. She goes there 2x per week. It gives her a chance to run off some of her energy and socialize with other dogs and they take good care of her. The staff is great. I can also get her groomed there which is helpful because she gets scared when she has to go to a groomer. I hate to give this place one star just because I have had several unfortunate encounters with one employee in particular, Crystal. To sum it up, she is pleasant until she's not. When you ask her too many questions that's she's incapable of answering or helping you navigate through, she becomes irritated and it shows. Simply put, she needs better customer service training, or a change of attitude because her internal temperament is being projected and spilling into her work and that is unprofessional. My fist encounter with her was when we did our tour, Junior was exceptional is giving a thorough tour and explanation of how the day is run at Dogtopia. Impressive and very clean facility. However, after my tour, Crystal went over the pricing , terms and contract. Of course I had many questions, she answered them to the point. in the end you could sense her frustration. I let it slide, because I was really impressed with the place . The second time, I asked her to make an appointment for me at the front desk. She then refers me to the app, which I was having difficulty navigating. When I asked her for assistance, she didn't not know how to navigate it herself and then annoyingly said- I'll just make it for you here but next time you can just do it on the app. I mean, c'mon it's part of your job, just make the appointment for your customer . The third was my last draw with her, I forgot to make an appointment , and she just gave me so much attitude and almost tried to turn me and my dog away. She said- we might not have enough crates because we're fully booked. Clearly she's making an excuse because if she's capable of problem solving ( which she acts like she is) , then her staff can very well obtain a crate from the other room. I've also had the experience of my dog being placed in the romper room without giving me notice ( which I did not complain about). So I know that moving her to romper is a possibility, instead of saying oh toy box is completely full. Instead of smiling and just make it work, she acted like she was doing me a HUGE favor and I was such a nuisance. I spoke to Junior who was very professional and apologetic about the situation. I am extremely disappointed that amongst your team of extra ordinary professionals like Mercedes, Junior and all the coaches who lovingly welcome my dog, she is the most inauthentic of them all. Junior tried to defend her by saying- I've seen Crystal provide good customer service and my response to that is- she does until the conversation does not go her way. Meaning it's her narrative that we customers have to follow. I think not. Do yourself a favor and provide more training for her, because one bad seed can ruin your well managed business and good reputation. read more

I took two of my dogs to Dogtopia to be at their day camp and to be boarded for a couple of days. I ask for them to be put both dogs into a suite together and I provided snacks that my dogs get every morning plus extra food just in case my dogs did not care for the extra food. I had asked for them to receive while in Dogtopia's care. The facility has a WebCam that you can watch until 7 PM and around 6:50. I noticed that my dogs were not in a suite and was given a bowl that looked like had no food in it. The next day I went into the facility and asked what my dogs had eaten the night before cause it didn't look like they had any food and they said oh there was a misunderstanding and we gave your dogs kibble, but they didn't want it. Three days later when I went to pick my dogs up, they were not acting as joyful as I would've thought they would've been something just was not right. I asked if they were fed and how they'd liked the food so that next time I could change the menu if needed, and they said that the dogs did like what they were fed. On the car ride home the dogs were very lethargic and not really responding to me and then I looked at my dog Taco's eye and it was very watery and he was closing it. When I got home, I examined his eye and saw that he had an abrasion and a very swollen red eye. My dogs were also very hungry when they got to the house and Taco by himself ate two bags of beef jerky, which is not a normal thing for him and my other dog ate a whole bowl of kibble. That's not anything I've experienced with them before being that hungry.At this time the facility was closed so I could not speak to anyone so I called in the morning and let them know my concerns about my dog eye. I wanted to know if any altercation had happened or he rubbed his eye on something and they said they had no idea. He was fine the whole time he was there he only played with my other dog. Then I said, and why did my dogs come back with the snacks and the food that I provided for them that was something they were supposed to get every day along with the extra food I paid for through your facility. They told me that again, another misunderstanding that they thought they were only supposed to give them the extra treats if they didn't like the extra food I had purchased for them. So the bottom line is this place has a lot of misunderstandings not really sure if my dogs were fed properly or in a suite together. I ended up taking Taco to the vet this morning and he has an eye infection with abrasions around his eyelid. My poor babies I don't know what they experienced at this facility but the way they came back concerns me and is not acceptable. read more

I have been taking my baby here for 2 months now. He is a very shy dog, but I am thrilled with how much he loves to come here. I have been taking advantage of the many services providing, daycare, training and grooming. Junior is patients and helpful in the group trainings: though I have a challenging pet, he provides specific tips to help me try and help my dog. My pup got his first hair cut this week and the groomer being able to cut his hair/ears/bum hair/between his toes is nothing short or a miracle. My did is skittish and squirmy so I have no idea how he even accomplished that. I can't say enough positive things about how friendly, communicative and accommodating all the staff is. We love Dogtopia! We found Dogtopia while eating at the restaurant next door. We walked in to check it out since we were looking for a new boarding place for our dog, Mocha. We were immediately greeted by a very friendly employee, but I don't remember his name. He gave us a tour of the facility and explained how the daycare works. We were excited to schedule Mocha for a meet and greet. The meet and greet process was simple, I applied online and received a call to finish the rest of the application process, they even contacted our vet for her vaccination records. I scheduled the meet and greet and took Mocha. After about 20 minutes, they told us that she passed and that she was able to stay for the rest of the day, free of charge. When we picked her back up, she was happy and tired. In order to take your dog here, you have to sign up for the "subscription". We decided to sign up for the 2 day a week subscription, which is $71 a week. It's worth every penny! Mocha comes home happy, tired, and smelling good! At other daycares, she would come home smelling like other dogs, which I never liked. They also have grooming services available. Another thing I love about Dogtopia is they have curriculum for the dogs. Instead of the dogs just standing there in a play area, the coaches actually interact and teach the dogs. They teach them tricks like sit, leave it, back, etc. The coaches also do fun activities with the dogs like play with bubbles and have movie days. When your dog passes the meet and greet, you get a report card and a picture of your pup. I think it's absolutely adorable. Overall, this place is amazing and I will recommend it to my friends. So I am new to this place and we had our Meet & Greet on Friday, went well I saw a few pet parents as they were dropping off their fur babies to dog day camp. They said nothing but great things about this location and the staff. It was comforting to hear in the middle of the meet & greet. Very nice staff, clean environment, professional and comfortable to me and my family. Bailey our boy dog was a little nervous and suffers from separation anxiety so he was a little worked up at the time but he did pass with flying colors! He will be having his first daycare visit on Tuesday and we will see how he does. The best thing is the fact you can watch your dog in the playroom via web cam!! So handy and comforting. Love that!! I feel he will have fun there's quite a bit of dogs which is always great too so they have someone to play with or hang with. My review for this place is long and overdue. My experience with this Dogtopia was like a never ending nightmare. I was a new customer and it was my first time leaving my dog Tobey in a boarding facility. Let me just tell you one thing, this place is very expensive. My mom and I voiced our questions with the facility and what would be the best price since I was told that because Tobey was new to the facility, he would have to go through a couple weeks of daycare and a boarding trial before boarding. Though I noticed that one of the front desk employee, Krystal was getting frustrated with me and my mom's questions regarding the financial side of their service, I appreciated that she took the time to go over the itemized prices since they had to charge different days for different services, daycare+boarding. With a hefty price tag on their services, we wanted to make sure we knew exactly what we were paying and being charged for. On the second day of daycare, Tobey came back with a raging allergic reaction to who knows what, most likely an atmosphere and environment reaction as I know for a fact that Tobey is not allergic to anything food-related. In retrospect, that should have been my first sign NOT to use this place for my dog. The night before my trip and Tobey's drop off, I meal prepped for Tobey all his breakfasts, lunch, and dinner for 4 hours. Mind you, I also carefully and specifically labeled each bag for each meal and even gave more directions on how to administer his meal. They reassured me that they would follow his meal "schedule" and the instructions given. We dropped Tobey off on a Wednesday afternoon and went overseas and it wasn't until the next Friday, my nightmare and regret would start. Around 2am overseas, I woke up to a voicemail from Dogtopia telling me the call was regarding Tobey, that it was urgent, and to call back as soon as possible. There were no details to what happened or if he was okay. Freaking out, I called their office twice and both my calls went straight to voicemail! I left a message and finally after an hour (after my mom also contacted the main manager a couple times), I received a call and was told that Tobey contracted kennel cough and needed to be picked up. This was extremely stressful since everyone was still overseas. We were able to arrange an amazing dog sitter to come pick him up. While getting his remaining food sorted before pick up, I asked for an inventory of what they had left and noticed that there was a large supply of breakfast still leftover and that the food schedule I had provided them with had not been followed and if anything, it looked like they missed a couple meals! They assured me that he was fed, but the evidence was in what was leftover and meals were still available in full, he was not being fed them. That was a big concern. After all this, the employees did not take any accountability regarding Tobey's boarding and stay with them. At first they tried to say that the kennel cough did not come from their facility when it did since Tobey is fully vaccinated and he's been in their care for over a week. I voiced my concerns via text since I was still overseas. To make matters worse, one of the employees Krystal called me over the phone to berate me that I should be more appreciative that they are watched Tobey even though that was what the SERVICE that we paid for. Then opted to say that she should not have accommodated us when we asked for an itemized list of what we had to pay for prior to paying for the service. The last straw was when she made racial remarks about my mom having "English capabilities"! When we spoke to the owners about this employee, they proceeded to tell us that they can assure that none of their employees are racist since they are Asians! Like what?? That's like saying racial things or doing racial actions, but holding a caveat and saying you're not racist because you have friends of that race! The glimmer of light of the whole situation was that after back and forth conversations with the main manager of the place, she prompted her employees to take Tobey to the vet to be put on antibiotics and paid for the bill. Now months later after the whole ordeal, Tobey has not been the same. When we put him at DogTopia, he was a well trained dog that listened and now you could tell his behaviors and obedience was affected by their services. One last thing, is that you have to pay them to play with your dog!! That's just nuts to me. Overall, worst experience ever and would not recommend this place to even my worst enemy. I would give them zero stars and make a note to steer clear of that racist employee named Krystal. The only highlight of this experience was that we found out that there are so many amazing dog sitters that will actually care for your dog over on Rover! read more

I've been bringing my dog here for about a month and so far I really like it. I love that there are cameras because I can see how much fun he's having. I used to take him to St. Marks in Ontario but the dogs were oftentimes unattended during okay time. You can see 1-2 attendants at Dogtopia with the dogs at all times while they're playing. They're really good about separating dogs when one is annoying another or they're getting too worked up. After St. Marks I started taking him to Ufuria in Upland. He would come home filthy, they wouldn't let me see the play area, and it's in a warehouse so he'd come home super hot. Dogtopia is indoor so it's temperature controlled, you can see the attendants mop the floor every time a dog urinates, and my dog comes home pretty clean. read more

I left my daughter's dog with this Dogtopia, the plan was a boarding for about 2 weeks for our oversea vacation. We left him on Wednesday afternoon and the next Friday, my daughter got a call around 2am oversea with a message: please call back, it's urgent in regard to Tobey, Didn't say what happened. How did you leave a vague message like that? It's not a well trained staff. My daughter called back immediately 2x and didn't get through, their office was closed. She should leave the line open after she made an urgent call. My daughter left a message and finally someone called back and said her dog has contracted kennel cough and needed someone to come to pick him up. Our dog caught kennel cough from this facility. How do you like to be awakened frightened with that kind of message. I almost passed out before knowing what actually happened. Then we were frantically looking for someone to get Tobey moved. I had to contact the GM, Mercedes, to request to get her staff took Tobey to the vet (that's next door to them). The GM was about the only one more professional and polite and was able to have her staff to take Tobey to the vet. The front desk girl, Krystal was rude and racist, was very combative arguing with my daughter and she called me for having "English capabilities'. That really escalated to the point I needed to be in contact with their management. I knew she's very rude, not good to be a front desk/ customer service person but I didn't expect her to state that I had "English capabilities ". When I asked her questions or voiced my concern, her response/service was to terminate the service. On hind sight, we should not have used this facility. When i returned to the states, I contacted Mercedes and she contacted the owner who reached out to me but denied she had a racist staff. She offered a free week for future use. Why do I still want to use their service? No apology. We paid a lot of money for a place that gave kennel cough to our fully vaccinated Tobey. This place even charges money to have your dog play with one of the staffs. We were able to find someone to pick up Tobey on the same day. It's only about their profit, never about your dog wellbeing. It's really an awful experience. This place should get no star at all. read more
