    "Thank you Dogtopia!!!"

We were referred to Dogtopia Upland a couple years ago and we couldn't be more grateful! Our boy Franco has been going there since he's been a pup and he absolutely loves it. So do we. Mercedez, Junior, Alicia and the entire staff there are amazing! If you're looking for a groomer, a dog trainer, you want to socialize your dog, boarding, they do it all and they do it all well! Schedule a visit to Dogtopia today! You won't be disappointed.

We love Dogtopia in Upland!! We have 2 Shar Pei and they are generally non-social dogs. We started bringing them as soon as we could. They are thriving! They love coming and playing with all their friends! We did 6 weeks of training with Junior and he was just the best. He is so patient and understanding of the breed. Everyone at Dogtopia has been great! Super friendly and you know when you drop off your fur babies that they will be very well taken care of. I am so grateful for Dogtopia Staff! They simply are the best!!

My dog Taco with an eye infection and abrasions after being boarded at Dogtopia

I took two of my dogs to Dogtopia to be at their day camp and to be boarded for a couple of days. I ask for them to be put both dogs into a suite together and I provided snacks that my dogs get every morning plus extra food just in case my dogs did not care for the extra food. I had asked for them to receive while in Dogtopia's care. The facility has a WebCam that you can watch until 7 PM and around 6:50. I noticed that my dogs were not in a suite and was given a bowl that looked like had no food in it. The next day I went into the facility and asked what my dogs had eaten the night before cause it didn't look like they had any food and they said oh there was a misunderstanding and we gave your dogs kibble, but they didn't want it. Three days later when I went to pick my dogs up, they were not acting as joyful as I would've thought they would've been something just was not right. I asked if they were fed and how they'd liked the food so that next time I could change the menu if needed, and they said that the dogs did like what they were fed. On the car ride home the dogs were very lethargic and not really responding to me and then I looked at my dog Taco's eye and it was very watery and he was closing it. When I got home, I examined his eye and saw that he had an abrasion and a very swollen red eye. My dogs were also very hungry when they got to the house and Taco by himself ate two bags of beef jerky, which is not a normal thing for him and my other dog ate a whole bowl of kibble. That's not anything I've experienced with them before being that hungry. At this time the facility was closed so I could not speak to anyone so I called in the morning and let them know my concerns about my dog eye. I wanted to know if any altercation had happened or he rubbed his eye on something and they said they had no idea. He was fine the whole time he was there he only played with my other dog. Then I said, and why did my dogs come back with the snacks and the food that I provided for them that was something they were supposed to get every day along with the extra food I paid for through your facility. They told me that again, another misunderstanding that they thought they were only supposed to give them the extra treats if they didn't like the extra food I had purchased for them. So the bottom line is this place has a lot of misunderstandings not really sure if my dogs were fed properly or in a suite together. I ended up taking Taco to the vet this morning and he has an eye infection with abrasions around his eyelid. My poor babies I don't know what they experienced at this facility but the way they came back concerns me and is not acceptable.

I have been taking my baby here for 2 months now. He is a very shy dog, but I am thrilled with how much he loves to come here. I have been taking advantage of the many services providing, daycare, training and grooming. Junior is patients and helpful in the group trainings: though I have a challenging pet, he provides specific tips to help me try and help my dog. My pup got his first hair cut this week and the groomer being able to cut his hair/ears/bum hair/between his toes is nothing short or a miracle. My did is skittish and squirmy so I have no idea how he even accomplished that. I can't say enough positive things about how friendly, communicative and accommodating all the staff is. Special Shout out to Junior (training) Chris (grooming) and Ricardo (I think that's his name; the longer haired attendant) he is my baby's favorite. I appreciate everyone patience with my sensitive guy. I hope one day he can participate in pictures when he is not too scared. Lol Chicharrón loves his Dogtopia Family.

I've been taking my doggo here for 6 months and she loves it, I love it. It's a love fest. I'm impressed that the staff has remained the same which makes me feel like they treat people well. I feel very safe leaving my dog here during the day and during vacations.

We love Dogtopia! We found Dogtopia while eating at the restaurant next door. We walked in to check it out since we were looking for a new boarding place for our dog, Mocha. We were immediately greeted by a very friendly employee, but I don't remember his name. He gave us a tour of the facility and explained how the daycare works. We were excited to schedule Mocha for a meet and greet. The meet and greet process was simple, I applied online and received a call to finish the rest of the application process, they even contacted our vet for her vaccination records. I scheduled the meet and greet and took Mocha. After about 20 minutes, they told us that she passed and that she was able to stay for the rest of the day, free of charge. When we picked her back up, she was happy and tired. In order to take your dog here, you have to sign up for the "subscription". We decided to sign up for the 2 day a week subscription, which is $71 a week. It's worth every penny! Mocha comes home happy, tired, and smelling good! At other daycares, she would come home smelling like other dogs, which I never liked. They also have grooming services available. Another thing I love about Dogtopia is they have curriculum for the dogs. Instead of the dogs just standing there in a play area, the coaches actually interact and teach the dogs. They teach them tricks like sit, leave it, back, etc. The coaches also do fun activities with the dogs like play with bubbles and have movie days. When your dog passes the meet and greet, you get a report card and a picture of your pup. I think it's absolutely adorable. Overall, this place is amazing and I will recommend it to my friends. I have no complaints and will continue to take my dog here. You can tell the employees truly care and love the dogs!

I've been bringing my dog here for about a month and so far I really like it. I love that there are cameras because I can see how much fun he's having. I used to take him to St. Marks in Ontario but the dogs were oftentimes unattended during okay time. You can see 1-2 attendants at Dogtopia with the dogs at all times while they're playing. They're really good about separating dogs when one is annoying another or they're getting too worked up. After St. Marks I started taking him to Ufuria in Upland. He would come home filthy, they wouldn't let me see the play area, and it's in a warehouse so he'd come home super hot. Dogtopia is indoor so it's temperature controlled, you can see the attendants mop the floor every time a dog urinates, and my dog comes home pretty clean.

My boy Hachi loves doggie daycare at Dogtopia! When I say in the morning, let's go to Dogtopia, he runs to the garage to get the leash and waits by the truck. When I had knee surgery, Dogtopia has been very awesome coming and bringing Hachi to the truck for me. Thank you X for your kind assistance in bringing out Hachi!

From our first grooming appt (about a yr ago) to sadly our last in Dec 2025, Jackie was the best! Kind, gentle, patient, compassionate, knowledgeable; always so warm and welcoming for myself and my pup. In March of this year, I called to schedule an appt and was told that Jackie no longer worked there and was provided no explanation or additional info. Needless to say, I was shocked and disappointed. I can't speak to what happened, as I don't know. Fortunately, after a bit of a search, I was able to find Jackie and thankfully, she has moved on with her own business. I'm so grateful I was able to reconnect with her as she's the best groomer we've ever had. As far as the 2 star rating, that stands for the business with regard to their lack of acknowledgement and communication with her clients. This rating by no means represents Jackie, as she is well beyond a 5 star rating! PS...For those of you who are former clients of Jackie and may still be searching for her, I do have contact info so please reach out to me.

St Mark's changed all of that from the first phone call. The lady who answered listened to Winnie's story and was very understanding. Walking into St Marks Winnie was a little nervous, but once she got in the door and started meeting her caretakers she looked so happy and comfortable. She didn't even look behind her as she was walked away lol Throughout Winnie's stay the staff sent me photos and videos of Winnie. I loved being able to have that, seeing Winnie have fun helped me to enjoy my own trip. Although it looks like Winnie had the better vacation lol I did choose to add grooming before I picked her up. Best decision...best groom ever, she came back smelling good and so so soft! Thank you St. Mark's for truly showing love and care, I know my baby is in good hands.

Jax had a long history of worsening mobility problems, limping, weakness, pain, trouble standing, and documented masses. In 2024, a cytology sample from a mass came back limited/nondiagnostic, but I was never made to understand that this meant a serious tumor process had not actually been ruled out. Later, Jax underwent surgery for removal of masses, and I eventually learned there was "no way to know" what those masses actually were because definitive histopathology was never completed. Over time, the records continued documenting concerning findings including suspected neoplasia/mass, worsening hind limb weakness, enlarged lymph nodes, mobility decline, and progressive pain. In August 2025, abdominal and hind limb X-rays were performed while Jax was already struggling with worsening weakness and mobility decline. Looking back now, I seriously question whether the underlying tumor process was adequately recognized or escalated at that point. In November 2025, Jax became extremely sick and weak. A lot of the focus appeared directed toward suspected pancreatitis and diabetes management. After seeking a second opinion, another veterinarian documented severe pelvic limb weakness, muscle wasting, neurologic decline, and a large femoral mass. The veterinarian who later performed Jax's euthanasia documented massive tumor-related swelling involving his left pelvic limb and concern for neoplastic disease including possible nerve sheath tumor or sarcoma. What completely haunts me is how Jax died. During his final days, my dog was crying in pain, struggling to move, and suffering in ways I will never forget for the rest of my life. I had to make the devastating decision to euthanize him at home because his condition had progressed so severely that he could no longer walk without suffering. After another veterinarian questioned aspects of the treatment approach and documented the large mass findings, I've requested a refund and tried to get answers regarding how Jax's condition progressed to such a severe state. I never received meaningful clarification from Dr. Dunbar. I have since submitted a Veterinary Medical Board complaint along with supporting medical records, imaging, second-opinion evaluations, and euthanasia documentation for review. Please advocate hard for your pets, request copies of every diagnostic report, and seek second opinions early if something does not feel right.
