I've been bringing my dog here since March, and everything was fine at first. Recently, however, I learned that he has been separated from other dogs without any notice or explanation. Given that he has always been social and has attended daycares since he was 14 weeks old, this raises concerns about whether breed bias may be playing a role. I also noticed an $8 fee for someone to stand next to a dog while they eat lunch, which feels unusual and excessive. The front desk staff has always been kind, but there is one employee who creates the social media videos who consistently avoids greeting customers and immediately goes to the back whenever someone approaches. It contributes to an overall feeling of poor customer service. Because of these issues, we'll be returning to Ufuria in Rancho Cucamonga. read more

We've been very happy with the Day Camp service so far. Setting up Susie's evaluation was easy and straightforward, and communication on her first day was great. I really love that they take pictures of the pups daily and upload a "report card" each day as well. It makes the experience feel very personal and it's fun to see how she's doing during the day. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the livestream cameras. They tend to be blurry, and it's difficult to clearly identify my dog when watching. Even when I'm connected directly to the internet rather than Wi-Fi, the cameras still appear blurry. I just wish the cameras in the play areas were a bit clearer. Overall though, we've had a really positive experience and Susie always comes home happy and tired. read more

My first visit didn't go well at all. Jennifer the manager reached out. She offered a full tour and a comped day pass. Second time still had a few hiccups but much better. I felt better that my boy would be safe and comfortable there. I booked my boy a weekend stay, he did amazing!!! I loved being able to check on him via the live camera feed, his daily report card and alllllllll the photos. I also called to see how he was eating and they were happy to provide me the details. Finally have the time to review this lovely place. My bf and I were at our wits end with our dog as he had recently developed anxiety. Since we're at work and school the whole day, we decided that day care was our only option and called around. It worked out that this was only 15 minutes away from my school so we called, got the info, and now repeat customers! They do need a recent fecal test done, which we had done at their place since it was so last minute but they were very accommodating and we results back quick. We were thankfully able to schedule him for his eval the next day, which he passed! I really love that they have six different outdoor yards and the dogs are separated based on their play style. My dog LOVES to play and run around, but I do worry about him annoying other dogs lol so I'm glad that I don't have to worry about that here since he can play with other dogs who have just as much energy as him. They have webcams from 8-5 so I'm able to check in on him and they also upload pics of him throughout the day + a daily report card! Their hours are also amazing. They open from 6:30AM-6:30PM so I'm able to drop him off early before school and pick him up after 6 when I'm off. The staff here are all so nice. I always call and ask to give his paws a quick wipe down when I'm on his way just because his paws can get a lot of dirt and they're always so nice about it, which I really appreciate. Pricing is also very fair. We get the 14 full day pass, which is $418 and it's well worth it. I've also done glamping here with them, where you get charged half day (when he's just playing) and then he gets his bath. They do a great job with the deshedding and then after he's just in a suite so he doesn't get dirty again. I love that they do that. Overall, I'm really glad I found this place. My dog had been going to them for some time until until I found out that they Kennel them around 12 or 1 for the rest of the day. I thought this whole time my dog was enjoying herself with other dogs, just to learn she and everyone else was being kenneled the rest of the day. If that was the case I wish they would be TRANSPARENT AND HONEST about it and let the owner of the pet decide. I also left my comment on their Instagram but they kept deleting it and then blocked me. What are they trying to hide , all im doing is leaving a comment, to inform others that this is their normal practice. Be honest and TRANSPARENT happy dog! We've been here a few times and it was okay, but the last time we went will be the last. We have a golden doodle and we always ask for a haircut and bath. This last time we took him, they gave him a bath but it was very clear he didn't get his haircut. How could we tell? Because we cut his hair a few weeks prior but only did the top half and when we got him, he looked the same. It wasn't evened out. After having a horrible experience at another dog camp & boarding for 4 days, my dog experienced high anxiety and was throwing up non stop for 2 days. I decided to try out Happy Dog Resort today. It was a pleasant experience for both my dog( Einstein ) and for me! When I called the office on Tuesday to schedule a day for playtime, Britany was so helpful & professional in scheduling and preparing my dog for his playtime. She understood my concerns that I had at the other dog camp. She told me that I should take a tour first ( without my dog) just to see the facilities. She called my veterinarian to get Einstein's vaccination records. So helpful that she did that instead of me bringing all his records. They also require a fecal test to make sure your dog doesn't have any parasites. All I had to do was to bring a stool sample and they took care of it. I received notification via email the following day that Einstein test was negative and all clear for him to go ... I took a tour with Alex on Tuesday afternoon. She was awesome and asked me questions about my dog regarding to his personality and behavior and clearly explained every play area ( each play area is designated accordingly to dog size and temperament. Today I took Einstein for playtime. In order to have my dog have a stay & playtime, they recommend that you bring in your dog in the morning for observation and to see how well your dog does with other dogs. It took about 3 hours. Andrea was awesome as well! She called me around 10:30 am to tell me that Einstein did so well and he's having a great time playing with his doggie friends in play area #3. She said that I can view Einstein on my portal that I set up with Happy Dog Resort. Which by the is a great website and portal to not only view the dog play area, but she took photos of Einstein playing throughout the day with other dogs. It was so comforting for me that Einstein did so well and and I'm looking forward to boarding him in the near future without any reservations and hesitation! We absolutely love Happy Dog Resort. We usually do daycare and add on a bath, but we just got through the first boarding with the dogs and we will definitely use them again. Our boys are basset hounds, so while they are pretty easy going, they can get pretty needy for human attention. They are also both young and can get a little overstimulated. The handlers keep them entertained and loved, and also deal with their bassitude well lol. They also have specific grooming needs (those ears!) and do a great job. Lodging: I was pretty nervous about having my dog stay at a dog resort for the first time. But after the experience, I have to say that whoever runs the ship here knows what they are doing. They are welcoming, organized, personal, know what questions to ask, adapted to the needs of my senior dog, and they provided frequent photo updates. Happy Dog Resort has been an absolute blessing for me and my sweet girl, Luna Love--a one-year-old French Bulldog I adopted who had experienced trauma before finding her forever home with me. She's naturally skittish, especially around her neck, and new environments used to terrify her. But this place... it changed everything. From the start, Happy Dog Resort impressed me with their professionalism and care. They require a thorough evaluation, including up-to-date vaccinations and a stool sample, which made me feel confident about their standards and commitment to keeping all pets safe and healthy. During her evaluation, Luna was nervous and trembling, but the staff was incredibly gentle and patient with her. She came home exhausted, but I could already tell they understood how to handle dogs with trauma. We first tried their daycamp and then lodging--and yes, they actually have people on-site 24/7, which many other places don't. The first few visits were rough; Luna was shaking and unsure. But after just a few sessions, something clicked. She began to light up whenever we pulled into the parking lot. Now, she walks in wagging her nub and can't wait to see her friends. The staff at Happy Dog Resort are exceptional. They've gone out of their way to accommodate Luna's special needs and even honored our requests not to put anything around her neck. Still our favorite boarding and day camp place. My pup has bad separation anxiety, and when we tried a few other boarding places she always came home with raw paw pads from trying to dig out of her cage, or scrapes on her nose or around her eyes. We've never had any of those issues here. They spend a majority of the day outside or in the play areas, so she doesn't have such bad anxiety. I was apprehensive about leaving her for an entire week on our last vacation, but she did just fine! She has her own little dog squad and seems to enjoy her time there. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars! Kathy should be fired for producing a FALSE fecal test. Also, she will put your dogs at risk of parasites, "as long as you don't tell anyone". We made reservations for our two labs over Thanksgiving break. Thursday was booked but they had availability for Wednesday through Friday. So we selected that option. They have a new policy where they require a fecal test every 6 months. You can either have them administer or bring in your own tests. I had dropped off a sample on the Tuesday the week before Thanksgiving. It went missing. I figured it was one of those, "no news is good news". Until Friday rolls around and they call me to tell me I need to provide a sample, they gave me the option of either later that day or Sunday. I decided I'd drop it off Sunday since it was 3pm when I received that call and I wouldn't be able to make it in before they closed since I was at work. Dropped off on Sunday and yes, they charged me $110 for the test. Here comes Tuesday, when a so-called Kathy gives me a call saying that only one of my dogs' tests came back positive. Parasites are highly contagious btw.. and she said she didn't know why our other dog came be negative. Aside from Kathy's lies, she is highly incompetent. She could not read the dogs medical records to find out who their vet was. Absurd to have someone in that position. After many back and forth calls. I requested that they send me the negative test results because I was positive it was false since we had full lab work done on the dogs 1.5 weeks before this call. She did mention that if it were any other weekend, she would take both of our dogs (even if one was "sick") and she would isolate the dog in a separate yard but i "would need not to tell anyone". So yes, she would risk the safety of your pets. She also said that they didn't test the samples right away because "their lab doesn't do pick ups on Sunday". Then why give that as an option?? They waited until Tuesday to give me this call! Obviously we had to change our plans last minute. She didn't even cancel the reservation. I had to go in and cancel it myself. Following Thanksgiving weekend, we take our dogs to our vet and they administer the fecal test, which SURPRISE SURPRISE, was negative. They are taking advantage of their customers. They are requiring tests that are obviously not needed since they can produce a false positive test. Horrible business!! read more

I've brought my dogs here for years, and they've always done a great job with my husky, who has a thick double coat. They used to understand that huskies should never be shaved. Unfortunately, our usual groomer was no longer there, and the new one shaved his entire body, leaving only his face and tail fluffy. To make things worse, they also nicked his paw. They were apologetic and bandaged it up, which I appreciated--but it's still another unfortunate issue to add to the experience. The receptionist had confirmed they knew not to shave huskies, so this was especially disappointing. The staff has always been kind, which makes this hard to write, but they really need groomers who understand breed-specific care. read more

I've taken my goldendoodle, Charlie, for grooming and they are always very accommodating to last minute appointments! I also recently boarded Charlie for the first time in 5 years (I was pretty nervous about it) and he did great. I felt at ease as the staff seemed to be very thorough with the intake process. They had him do a temperament evaluation and a fecal screening ($50) prior to boarding. I really appreciated that they called me a few days before his scheduled stay to talk over details with me and was pleasantly surprised that on their online portal they post photos and "report cards" of the dogs that are boarded!! How sweet!!! I didn't know this but they also have a camera you can look at while your dog is staying there. I do wish someone would have told me this (I found out after Charlie's stay). All in all, a good experience and would use them again, if needed. read more

Amazing!! What a WOW experience that my pup and I had here. I booked an evaluation online for doggy daycare for my 7mo old Great Dobernees (Doberman/Great Pyrenees mix). He's a huge 64 lbs bundle of energy. When I arrived they had a sign out front with his name on it, which I thought was a sweet gesture that proves that this place goes above and beyond. The evaluation was $40 for a 5 hour stay in the daycare portion of the resort. You drop off your pup and he is watched/ranked and placed into a room with other pets according to size, temperament, altered/unaltered, etc. Once the evaluation is completed, they send you a report card with photos and wonderful adjectives on how your pup scored. My Simba passed with flying colors and I am so excited to be able to bring him a couple times a week for some socialization. I also added on a nail clipping service and you could tell that they have well trained groomers, because his nails (and dewclaws) were trimmed to perfection. When we picked him up, there were no signs of stress. He was happy, excited, and of course exhausted from all the play time he received that day. Brought my dog here who is fully vaccinated for boarding and play for 4 days. I arrive to pick him up and as they hand him off with his leash they mention "oh by the way, he's had bad diarrhea since Saturday." no phone call to myself or his emergency contact. This morning, he's vomiting and crapping like a goose. My moms dog ( his sister ) caught Giardia here too. Which there is no vaccine for. Just lots of medical bills and meds for your pup. Highly suggest going elsewhere because they clearly do not have it under control! Not cool! **UPDATE** Happy Dog Resort knows their facility is carrying these diseases. I spoke with Solomon at the city animal services and they are aware that Giardia and Parvo is running through the facility and the only thing they are doing about it is requiring a fecal test from your vet to protect their ass! so BE AWARE before taking your dog here! read more
