Hopeless. That's how my wife and I felt with our dog coco. She was very reactive towards people and towards other dogs. We had gone to another trainer and felt as coco did not meaningfully improve. So we were hesitant to try another trainer. Mainly due to embarrassment. We felt as if we have failed our dog. We are so lucky to have found Taylor! By the end of just the first meeting he was walking her around and she was not reacting at all! Through the private sessions Taylor taught us how to train her. Gives us the tools to set her up for success. However, it is through the group sessions on the weekend that the real magic happens and where coco learned the most. Being surrounded by other people and other reactive dogs. Gives coco the ability to put her skills to the test in a safe environment where everyone is understanding if she breaks and barks. Like all things, you get out what you put in. By consistently working on her training and consistently going to group sessions, we have seen such huge improvement with coco. If you are on the fence or just looking for a trainer that will take the time to ensure you are being set up for success. Taylor is the guy to go to! We cannot recommend him enough! read more

We've had such a great experience with Taylor! We're located in Redlands, CA, and started working with him to help us with both of our Frenchies, Turbo and Coco. Turbo has struggled with aggression, and Taylor has been very patient with him and has helped us better understand how to handle his behavior. With Coco, we've been working on basic obedience, commands, and building her confidence. We've already seen improvements with both dogs, and we're really happy with the progress they've made. What we really appreciate about Taylor is that he doesn't just work with the dogs, he also teaches us as owners. He shows us different tricks and techniques to better handle our dogs and gives us things to practice at home. His prices are very fair, and you can tell he genuinely cares about helping our dogs. We're very happy we found Taylor and would definitely recommend him to anyone in the Redlands area looking for a great dog trainer! read more

Taylor has an incredible gift of working with dogs. While one trainer suggested I put my "aggressive" lab down, Taylor within 20 minutes had her FEAR of everything under control! Taylor truly changed everything for us and our rescue dog, Juno. When we first got him, it was honestly really overwhelming. He was extremely timid, scared of almost everything, struggled with bad separation anxiety, and had bitten both me and my partner at different times. We felt discouraged and heartbroken because we wanted so badly to make it work. Taylor didn't just "train" Juno, he helped us understand him. He completely shifted the way we saw Juno's behavior and taught us how to communicate with him in a way that built trust instead of fear. Through his guidance, we were able to create a genuine bond with Juno, and that's what made the biggest difference. We used to be scared to let him be around strangers, but now he's friendly, confident, and constantly gets compliments on how incredibly well-behaved he is. It didn't happen overnight, and it definitely took consistency and effort at home, but it was 100% worth it. We're so grateful for Taylor and everything he's done for our little family. read more

HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend! My family and I started training with Taylor about 6 months ago when my dog, Bear, started showing signs of aggression. For reference, Bear is a 100lb male Rottweiler. Prior to training, Bear refused to follow commands and even began displaying aggression towards my family. Our first training session was an eye opener to the severity of his aggression when he tried to bite Taylor! Within the first couple weeks, Bear improved significantly. Taylor has helped us understand Bear's behavior and way of thinking. Now, Bear is able to follow basic commands such as sit, down, and stay. He is also now crate trained and leash trained. I never would have thought this would be possible. Taylor changed our lives and Bear's life! I am so pleased with the results and I would recommend Bad Attitude K9 for any person or family who is struggling with their dog. read more

We've been working with Taylor for about 4 weeks and honestly... we might have a new dog The progress with our reactive pup has been amazing. Taylor is super knowledgeable and really understands dog behavior on a whole different level. He's sweet, patient, but also knows when to be firm and our dog is his biggest fan. He explains everything in a way that actually makes sense (which we needed), and we feel so much more confident now. If you're on the fence: DON'T BE . Taylor is your guy. read more

Tyrone to clarify your review comments that were all lies: You were not present during the one and only training session we had. There where no further for various excuses, no shows, cancellations, etc by the trainer. The dishonesty, deception, ruthlessness, etc made us not want to continue with him. He was aware and repeatedly was requested to reimburse us for services not rendered. We are out $800 and have been trying and trying all avenues to collect it. JUST KNOW I'M NOT FINISHED YET!!! read more

Tyrone is an awesome dog trainer! He's very knowledgeable, Professional, and passionate in what he does! My dog would not listen to me at all he was very stubborn and hard to train myself and since he is so big I was so afraid of him falling or drowning in the pool and after the training he goes in the water himself he tries to protect us and jumps in now lol now we have to lock him up or he'll think we are drowning lol he listens stays sits and he is very protective I just wish you can post videos on here so you can see him swimming all over the deep side thank you so much Tyrone! read more

When he keeps his appointments, all is well. He is a knowledgeable trainer and did great with my dog. Sessions were supposed to be 45 minutes. Sometimes they were less. However, I had one complete no show. And 2 times he was over 30 minutes late, 2 sessions with other owners/pets (one did not go well) and two relocation/reschedules. And finally, 2 kept appointments. Very disappointed in his time management skills. He did refund me for the gas and no show since I was driving over an hour to see him each session. I hope you do better with your commitments in the future. All the best. read more

Tyrone is an amazing trainer. He is very thorough and knowledgable. We use him to work with our dogs. We are the largest bull terrier rescue facility in the county and really needed help with some of our dogs. He has worked with these dogs and made a huge difference in making them more adoptable. Our first dog Bart was always biting people when redirecting from other dogs. He showed our staff how to work with him so he wouldnt bite. Made all the difference in the world. Taylor has been a very diligent trainer for my 4 month old Doberman mix. I adopted this puppy from a rescue and wasted no time searching for an obedience trainer. She walks great on leash, is no longer reactive, and knows all of her basic commands. When we are out and about - she receives a lot of compliments on her great behavior. People assume she is older than she is. She will sit and wait for pets and lay down for small children. It's the cutest thing. Taylor is a great person and he loves his work. I wish he had a larger business and honorable employees to help him expand. I highly recommend his services and I look forward to continuing our sessions! read more

We had our first in home session with Taylor today for our 9 week old Great Dane puppy. Taylor is absolutely phenomenal and understands dogs and their behavior unlike anyone I have ever met. My husband and I are very impressed by his skill and expertise! We are looking forward to our next session with Taylor and our Great Dane pup! read more

Again pet parents please be aware of Taylor. My sister wrote a review and rebuttal to the so called business manager Tyrone's response to her review. It was taken off Yelp by them so no one should see her comments. We have two little fur babies. At the time they were 4 and 5 lbs and 6 months old. Taylor instructed us to get shock collars for them. We asked about the ultrasonic ones and his response was that it won't work. They could have been seriously injured neurologically at their age and weight. Not that we would ever consider that. His training tactics are heinous. Wanted us to also ignore them and show no affection. We refused to partake in his suggestions. He owes us money for 4 lessons he had a 3rd party charge our credit card 4 times every 2wks for no services rendered and refused to reimburse us. There are other details but these are the major reasons. Please don't take this lightly if you love your fur babies as we all do. read more

Maverick turned a year old and we struggled with aggression towards other dogs as well as people. I was unable to take him on walks due to his aggression issues. He was confined to being home. Within 20 minutes of our first session with Taylor, Maverick went from trying to attack him with a muzzle on to walking a long side Taylor calmly with no muzzle. We knew at that point that we were in good hands. Throughout Mavericks training program, Taylor requested mid week videos to be sent for evaluation to ensure your dog is being practiced correctly when not in sessions. It was evident to us that Taylor goes above and beyond for his clients. Sessions are always longer than scheduled for and Taylor is always available for mid week questions or concerns. After two weeks of training, Maverick became flawless at walking! No reactivity and no pulling. Maverick is now much happier and loves playing with new friends! read more

I am SO excited to be writing a success review! My pup & I just completed the Behavior Modification Program with Tyrone & Koda from Bad Attitude K9. I adopted a handsome, obedient and loving French Bulldog .... unfortunately that side of him was only shown to me. To everyone else (friend, family or stranger) he was an unpredictable aggressive time bomb ready to attack/bite. I spoke with two other trainers searching for a remedy, both left me pretty pessimistic and helpless about my situation. Making me strongly consider giving him back to the rescue. I chose Bad Attitude K9 based off the heart felt reviews (there are more on Google) and after talking with Ty, I felt confident he truly believed in my dog's success. Ty was able to help me understand the root of my dog's behavior and explain the path to correcting his thinking and how to build his confidence so that he would start making better decisions. Even after getting bit by my little guy, Ty still believed in him! Koda played a very pivotol part in our training too! This program takes effort on the owner's part - the days I slacked on doing my daily dog training, it showed (Ty definitely called me out on it during our session). This is a commitment to your four legged family member. You must be consistent with providing structure for success. The payoff of having an adjusted, happy and obedient dog is priceless. We are forever grateful - balance has been regained in our home, my bond with my dog has deepened and although I know this journey is not over ... we could not have gotten to this point without Bad Attitude K9. Because of you, JD gets to stay in his forever home! read more

Tyrone is a thorough, professional, highly motivated and unique individual who not only cares about the dogs he trains, but also about the interaction with the people he's helping. Within a short time of our introductory training session Tyrone had our puppy, Bobby, walking to heel and paying attention to directions like a pro. Previously Bobby had been easily distracted and boisterous with us unable to correct his behavior. I highly recommend Bad Attitude K9, particularly Tyrone, and will be taking one of his courses to further Bobby's training. Taylor did an exceptional job in training my Labrador at a reasonably affordable price. I had been looking for a board and train that I could afford but still was reliable and I am happy my family and I came across BadAttitude K9. My dog had extreme separation anxiety and just overall was disobedient. The neighbors would always complain about how he would bark late at night or whenever I would leave. He would jump on anyone and everyone, including me. Literally destroyed my couch and other home items and I couldn't figure out how to train him myself nor did I really have the time. My family was suggesting I give him to another home but he was already family to my daughter and I. My family and I got him back after a 30 day board and train and he has been such a good dog. All of the issues we previously had are gone. My 9 year old daughter is even able to walk him with no pulling and I have no worries of him jumping on her. Taylor answered any and all questions and gave his recommendations on products to use for him returning home. If you need a dog trainer, do not hesitate to call Bad Attitude K9. You will not regret it. Thank you again Taylor, you are a life saver! read more

Great experience, you can tell that he really cares about his job, the dogs, and is a very nice person that tries to build a friendly connection with the dog owners aswell it's very genuine. I had just gotten a puppy and didnt want her to learn his bad behavior of previous aggression toward other dogs. So I set up an evaluation appointment and he pointed out some issues I had not noticed like some aggression towards people. He came prepared with a protective sleeve and started working on him. His scheduling hours worked really well for us it was easy to find a time and day that worked for us. We followed his instructions at home and he progressed each week really well. We took him to a event with lots of people around he wasn't anxious and didn't show any signs of aggression towards other people or other dogs that were off leash. The other day as I was walking my dogs there was a energetic pit bull off leash that my dog noticed first, he didn't bark, growl, lunge, didn't show his teeth. I walked away from the off leash dog and he followed me just fine I'm greatfull for the experience and recommend him. read more

I would not recommend this trainer at all. Very unprofessional. Taylor cancelled our appts 2x in a row. The first time he communicated on the day of, just before our appointment. The second time he completely forgot and we waited 30 after our scheduled appointment before contacting him. Frustrated with his poor communication and lack of consideration for our time, we asked for a refund, which he said he would give us. Again we contacted him several times and he did not refund our money ($250 for a private evaluation), so we disputed the charge with our credit card company. A few months later, we got a message from the credit card company saying Taylor responded that his services were received and they charged us the $250 again! So now again we are disputing the charge. read more

TLDR; made our dog MORE aggressive, stood us up, and promised a refund of services not used but then ghosted with no refund provided. Paid more than half upfront for a training package from Tyrone. We drove an hour each way with a newborn in tow to have training sessions that consisted only of Tyrone having our reactive dog tied to a tree while he shook a water bottle at her to make her react and attack. The third time he applied this technique he had on an arm guard and let her make contact! She has since bitten three adult male family members including my husband! Tyrone also stood us up for our third scheduled training session. We asked for a refund of services not provided after these incidents, which he ignored for over a week. When he finally called my husband back, it was because he thought we were new clients interested in training. At this time, he agreed to refund us the hundreds of dollars for work not performed - but only in cash. It has been well over a month now and he has completely ghosted and won't set up a time to refund us the money. This guy is the ultimate quack. Do not trust him with your fur baby!! Do not trust him with your money!! read more

Horrible experience!!! He ( Taylor) yanked our dog's neck so hard I started to cry. Our dog was very anxious and the trainer kept " pinching his neck with a training collar. The dog's lips and tongue started bleeding and blood was on his face and the trainer said" a little blood doesn't hurt him". The next day I found redness and scarring on my dog's neck from the training collar ( he had reassured us over and over again that the training collar won't hurt him!!!!!) He explained " just like spanking helps kids understand and learn so do dogs"! He uses pain to teach dogs!!!( basically the training collar has prongs; he pulls on it every time the dog doesn't cooperate. It sinks in in the dog's throat). It literally looks like abuse to be honest. It was extremely traumatic experience for us; I'll never have him back here again. We were totally caught off guard and shocked how he was treating the poor dog. He said " I didn't get the good reviews for nothing "!!!! I would recommend everyone to ask for details of his training. We had made an in-house appointment for our Golden Retreiver because he needed muzzle training to go the vet. He had so much anxiety that the last time he would not walk from car to office. The trainer did say he'll bring a " training collar with him, but not much more about the first day agenda. The first appointment was supposed to be an evaluation!! but the trainer took him to our street! ( where cars were going back and forth) to yank him and train him how to walk( we didn't even ask him to do that). It wasn't even safe and I was worried about cars and safety. We thought " evaluation " means to see the dog in person and gather more information. That's what evaluation meant to us. The true nightmare with this violent- looking training!!!! ended with our poor dog being drained, and exhausted . We both were so stressed out so much that it was even hard to comprehend what the trainer was saying. It was a huge mistake to hire this trainer even though I had read excellent reviews about him. I felt terrible about my dog and the way he was treated. Never again! read more

This training is worth EVERY dollar we spent. Tyrone has been working with our 85 lb. puppy, Odin for well over a year now. Odin had issues with aggression towards other dogs and people, was territorial and constantly pulled us down the road on walks. Living in a neighborhood with children and pedestrians always walking by, we needed help. And that's exactly what we received when we called Bad Attitude K9. Tyrone has a unique style of training which actively engages the owner at every step - "There are no untrainable dogs, just untrainable owners." After a few sessions Odin started to shape up: less barking off of our balcony, less pulling on walks, decreased reactivity. Group sessions really refined Odin and we are now able to take him on walks and into crowded areas and have company over with small children with little concern. If we have issues, we can text or call Tyrone and he is always quick to respond with advice and suggestions. He is even willing to make house calls. What every dog owner has to remember is that it takes consistency and commitment from everyone in the house to train a puppy. Tyrone is only there an hour a week, but he gives you the tools to help your doggo succeed. No training will work if you are not willing to put in effort on a daily basis, especially if you have a dog who thinks they run the house like ours did - they will continue to become more aggressive and resistant. But once you do commit to reinforcing the training, the results are almost unbelievable. 6/5 stars if I could. read more

Taylor was a delight. He is a straight talker and truly wanted our dog to succeed. He is hands on. And walked us through commands with our dog before we were able to do is ourselves. The work was harder for us than the dogs, but we kept at it and our dog is a better family member from working with Taylor. 5 out of 5 stars all the way around. Tyrone did an amazing job training our Belgian Malinois and teaching us how to train her as well. We originally went to him because his prices are impossible to beat but now I'm extremely glad we did because of the way he handled all of our concerns with patience and understanding. Our doggo was super excited to go to training every weekend and now we can take her places that we never thought we'd be able to before.
