But the fur babies are another story. He told me him and his wife also do pet sitting. Long story short we spent a night at the casino last weekend while the kids enjoyed raiding grandmas pantry and toy closet. Little test run. And we couldn't be happier. I called 12 different places as far as Riverside (I'm in Yucaipa) and couldn't find anyone who could accommodate us because of it being so last minute and his breed (he's a mix). I don't have anyone in this state who I have the kind of relationship with where I could ask them to watch my dog full time for 9 days so I was pretty sure I was going to have to stay home. I found Beaumonsters 15 hours before my plane took off and trusted them with my dog who is like a son to me because it was probably the last time I'd get to see my grandmother. The owner at this place is a really nice guy and my dog liked him right away. The trip meant the world to me and my boy was safe and well cared for the entire time. Even after paying a short-notice fee I still ended up paying less than the companies near us if they hadn't been too full to accommodate me. I feel like I lucked out not paying more to end up with kennel cough from a boarding style place. Will definitely use them again whenever I can afford some time off work.

The front desk staff has always been kind, but there is one employee who creates the social media videos who consistently avoids greeting customers and immediately goes to the back whenever someone approaches. It contributes to an overall feeling of poor customer service. Because of these issues, we'll be returning to Ufuria in Rancho Cucamonga.

Our girls hadn't been to a groomers for almost 2 years unfortunately, so their nails were very long. We were told to bring in their current rabies vaccine card, which was fine. Both of our girls were so happy to have been taken care of and seem to have really enjoyed being there. We couldn't get a picture of them together afterward because Sierra, our Pitsky is so hyper sometimes lol. Sadie, our old lady Pitbull had an extra pep in her step after her session and you see her enjoying the ride home in the picture below. We will definitely be going back in the next month!

On the day we picked him up, I messaged her to let her know when we would arrive to pick up Snapdragon, and the account responded with Diamond Oaks Ranch's contact information. A few days later, she contacted me asking, "how is the pup," requested pictures of him, and described him as "a very sweet pup." I am disappointed that rather than acknowledging our experience, the response has been to deny that we purchased our dog from them at all. I am posting the contemporaneous messages so prospective buyers can see the documentation and draw their own conclusions.

He was understandably a little nervous the first time we dropped him off but the second time he was thrilled to be back, which just shows how much fun he had there with her!! Unlike pet stores that buy their baby birds from huge bird mills, Lee treats every bird as if they were his own up until time to hand them over to their new mama or Papa . Of all the many places that I have gotten cockatiels, the two that I have now are the sweetest most talkative that I have ever owned. I had a friend come in from New Jersey a couple weeks ago, and she has had literally 30 birds at once, all parrots. She also has her college degree in zoology or some other degree that I can't remember that specializes in birds? And she was impressed with the level of love, affection, and attention that my cockatiels want all the time. That is not always the case with this type of bird. When you have to go out of town, it's not as easy as leaving a dog with one of your best friends. Unless someone is a bird person, they are either reluctant or I am reluctant to leave my BIRDS with them because I know that it's a whole other process to babysit my babies . Thank God for Lee and his inexpensive, boarding services. If you request it, he will have your bird with wings clipped, nails trimmed, beak trimmed whatever you need by the time you come back to pick up your feathered friend. I know there are a lot "pet sitters" that advertise that they will watch your bird in their home, but buyer beware. I have heard horror stories of how they let the bird out of the cage and the bird flies out an open window or a cat or a child. has hurt the bird. One thing I love about the new location where Lee is at, it is super secure with double door type protection, and he does not even allow customers to play or visit with your birds that he is watching for you, for their safety. I also love that it's a family business and you see his kids running around and learning the business. And although it's a smaller store, it's plenty adequate to display tons of toys, snacks, high-quality seed and pellets as well as my favorite part, he always has BIRDS for sale , and is always working on his next set of babies. Not to mention, but to my knowledge, he is the only person anywhere close to here that sells something called a helicopter parakeet . I'm about three or four weeks away from moving into my new home, and I've built a little indoor Avery so my birds can jump around and feel free and not be in their cage as much when I'm gone, and I plan on adding one of these beautiful little parakeets to my collection. And I'd like one more medium size parrot, about the size of my green cheek Connor, but a little bigger. He has these cockatoos with the most breathtaking rose colored heads and feathers. Every time I go in there, I see some new type of parrot that I've not seen before, or some coloring on a cockatiel that I've never seen and it's just a wonderful experience. The only problem is he could use more help , lolololol. Because there's annoying people like me that just wanna sit and look at every single bird for sale, and ask 10,000 questions while he's trying to do grooming, daily feed and care of his birds and help customers who are actually purchasing things! He is always so straightforward, his prices are incredibly fair, even less expensive than magnolia bird farms in Riverside, which is quite a hike to get to, and many of their birds are not hand trained despite what they try to tell you . Don't be deceived by people who say oh I hand raised this bird . Taking a baby bird away from its mother and just simply feeding it with your hand is a far cry from actually raising a bird to want to trust and love humans . Lee has certainly mastered that art. Please go by and support him today, we would be in a lot of trouble if we lost EXOTIC BIRDS UNLIMITED

If you're on the fence about sending your dog away for training, I completely understand. Handing your dog over to someone else for two weeks is a little scary. We worried about how Toby would do, if he'd be happy, and if we'd really see a difference when he came home. I'm happy to say we'd do it again in a heartbeat. Toby came home a much better dog. Is he perfect? Of course not! He's still Toby. But the difference after just two weeks was incredible. He now understands his commands, knows what "no" means, goes to his place when asked, and stays there until he's released. He also knows what "heel" means and no longer drags me down the street on walks! Instead of pulling on the leash, he walks right beside me. When other people or dogs walk by, he still gets excited sometimes--he's a dog after all--but now I'm able to redirect him and maintain control. The walk continues without him going completely nuts, which is a huge improvement and makes walks so much more enjoyable for both of us. Most importantly, we finally have a foundation we can continue building on. The real test came the day after he got home. We took him to Dog Beach. Before training, there is absolutely NO WAY I would have let Toby off leash. Honestly, I was pretty sure I'd be chasing him all the way to Tijuana! But we took a deep breath, said a little prayer, and unclipped the leash. Toby ran off to play with the other dogs and had the time of his life. Then came the moment of truth--we called him. To my absolute relief, he turned around and came running back! A few times it took more than one call, but every single time he came back. That would NEVER have happened before training. Because of Patron K9 Academy, Toby now gets to enjoy experiences he couldn't safely enjoy before. He gets to run, play, explore, and just be a dog. Beyond the training itself, the entire experience was first-class. Toby was picked up in a professional vehicle, we received training videos every couple of days so we could follow his progress, and it was obvious he was being well cared for. When he came home, he was happy, healthy, brushed, and freshly bathed. We also received a thorough training session when he returned, along with a training guide to help us continue the work at home. They didn't just train Toby--they trained us too. Most importantly, Toby came home loved and cared for. That meant everything to us. The results exceeded our expectations, and we're already planning to send him back for another two weeks down the road. We couldn't be happier with the training, communication, care, and overall experience. Thank you, Patron K9 Academy, for giving Toby the skills he needed to be more confident, more obedient, and ultimately enjoy a better life. If you have a Labrador Retriever, then you already know... they come with LOTS of love, LOTS of energy, and sometimes absolutely ZERO chill That was our boy Jay Jay before training with Patron K9 Academy. He was overly excited, anxious, constantly jumping, pulling on walks, and basically attached to us 24/7 in a nervous way. We boarded him with Angel for two weeks, and WOW -- the difference is honestly amazing. Jay Jay came home knowing commands like Sit, Spot, Heel, and more, but the best part is how much calmer and more confident he is now. We can actually eat dinner while he relaxes on his cot instead of turning mealtime into a full-contact sport He still has his sweet loving personality, but now he's more secure, more relaxed, and able to receive affection without the anxious clinginess he used to struggle with.
