I highly recommend InsideOut Dog Training and George, the trainer. It's been about 7 months since I…read morecompleted the level 1 group training with George and I figure it's time to leave a review! I adopted a 1 year old terrier mix from Mary S. Roberts and took advantage of their discounted training rate. I like to say my little one had NO manners. She was exhibiting a lot of concerning behaviors that you can't discredit come with adopting a rescue dog. We already had a 4 year old husky with us that we've had since he was a puppy, but that didn't stop the terrier from coming into the house like she was the owner. She was very anxious and scared and it seemed to be reflected in her trying to be dominant and somewhat aggressive with our dog and visitors to the house. It was a defeating feeling that first month before I was able to get her into training. She nipped, barked, was always afraid, would freeze when I would leave the house, and couldn't be left alone. I really want to thank George because he is so good at recognizing dog behaviors and probably more important, human behaviors with their dogs! The class setup was only about 6 people, enough to learn from others but also not so big that any dog didn't get the attention they need/deserve. George taught ME some dog behaviors and traits and I've been able to extend what he taught during the class to outside of the classes to better train my dog. I think the most important thing he taught me was to pay attention to how I'm reinforcing certain behaviors, because we are reinforcing (positively or negatively) whether we know it or not. Now my dog is so much more confident and excited to follow directions since we finished training. Everyone who met her when I first got her has noticed and mentioned the positive shift in her mannerisms and personality since training. I wish they had more training levels available because I would happily join another group lesson with George!

If you're looking for a dog trainer in the Inland Empire, we can't recommend Jason from Inside Out…read moreDog Training enough! We rescued a dog who had extreme leash reactivity. We shopped around and talked to several trainers and they all wanted to do a boot camp situation. Jason could have pushed for a board and train/boot camp option but he let us know that doing private lessons (very affordable when purchased as a package) would give us the best results for taking care of her issues. We appreciated that Jason didn't push for the highest cost option and wanted to give us the skills to work with our dog and her problems in normal day to day life out in the "real" world. He's always been really patient with all our questions and has been more than happy to field questions about our other dogs and things we can improve on with them outside of working with our "problem" dog without asking for additional compensation. As I said, if you're looking for a dog trainer who cares about your dog, uses positive reinforcement methods and gives you the skills to make your dog the best they can be then Jason is your guy. He does private and group training several times a week at Mary Roberts Pet Adoption Center. I almost forgot to mention that he posts videos that reinforce lessons you get in person. I have never left him with anyone other than my parents / sister to care for him. Martina came over to our home for a meet & greet & Steve immediately took to her. He seemed comfortable and happy around her. We left him with her for just over a week & I felt so at peace. Martina posted plenty of pictures of Steve on her IG page so I was able to see what he was up to and he seemed to be having the time of his life over there. I was worried he would not want to come back home! Martina is awesome at communicating and is very pleasant to be around. I will never take Stevie anywhere else. Thank you for being so good to our old pup.

It takes a while for Bailey to warm up to humans but Martina allowed Bailey to warm up to her at her own pace. After the trial half day, we were excited that Bailey would be in great hands and would have friends to play with!! We left Bailey with Martina for a little under a week and we are so happy with the love and attention Martina provided Bailey. She was very professional and kept us updated every day, either through videos/photos on instagram or through text. Bailey looked so happy in all the photos and videos!!! If we could give more stars, we would. We would recommend Martina & Waggy Trails to anyone in need of pet sitting, day care, or dog walking. This was such an easy and great experience and we are so thankful to Waggy Trails for treating Bailey as one of their own!

If I could give Jonathan more than 5 stars, I definitely would!!! My dog, Deku is almost 5 and he…read moreis a good dog, but usually only with family. Deku is a terrier/chihuahua mix and he is also very stubborn/bratty. Deku is/was a very reactive towards mainly strangers & random noises due to him having anxiety (he even takes anxiety pills especially when going to the vet). Deku also had problems with pulling when walking. I know it's mainly the owner's fault to get your dog like this, but this is something I had a hard time fixing myself, even with all the research I have been doing and implementing for Deku. So for a long time, I have been wanting to train and board Deku and have been exploring who to go to, but Jonathan was the trainer I chose for Deku and he was absolutely AMAZING with Deku. Deku's transformation has me and my family so amazed and we are just so happy with how great Deku has turned out from this train/board process with Jonathan! I know Jonathan does not have many Yelp reviews, but the only reason why is because he is new on Yelp. I was a bit skeptical of this at first, but I did my research and have seen pictures/testimonials of the previous dogs he's trained before. He's the real deal! The first step of my process was doing consultations with different trainers to really see who I could trust more and I ultimately chose Jonathan because even during the consultation, he was so very understanding and communicative of Deku/Deku's problems and was explaining to me the ways we can tackle some of Deku's issues. Even with just the consultation, I already saw a difference in some of Deku's issues from the training tips he gave me. About 2 weeks later, I took Deku to board and train with Jonathan for 3 weeks. 3 weeks without your pup is so hard, but what helped was that Jonathan would give me pictures/videos of Deku and his growth being with him. From showing me Deku's lowest of being unfriendly towards Jonathan, you can see the journey of how Jonathan in the end bonded with Deku and trained him to be a more obedient and non-reactive dog! There has been some concerns with Deku being a little reactive towards small things, so I texted Jonathan and he replied instantly when I texted him about these small instances. Jonathan explained everything so thoroughly and even asked me to keep him posted on updates with Deku and that gives me peace of mind that this trainer really does care about the dogs he's worked with and all of his clients! I can safely say that walks are not nerve wracking anymore and Deku has not been reactive towards strangers during our walks. Deku does not pull as much anymore (Jonathan has taught me how to correct it if/when Deku starts to pull a little) and does the commands I want him to do. I'm still in the process of taking Deku to public places, but even if there's a little problem, I know I can talk to Jonathan about it and I already know he will give me great advice on how to handle/train Deku so he can be his best dog self! I truly can not thank Jonathan enough for helping me as a dog owner who loves their dog and wants whats best for him! I will be recommending all of my beloved dog owner friends to Jonathan and am also thinking about doing further training for Deku with Jonathan, since my experience with him was top-notch! I encourage everyone to support Jonathan and his small business! *Pictures attached are pictures from when Jonathan was boarding/training Deku. Will be updating/uploading more pictures to show Deku's transformation while being at home with me and my family.
