We recently had to our sweet dog Panda who has been coming to Four Paws for 12 years since she was a puppy. When I arrived yesterday to pick up our 2 border collies from grooming... I got a hug, and condolences and the card and gift below which we will forever hold dear to our broken hearts!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Four Paws Inn and of course their amazing general manager Shara!!! I first heard about Four Paws Inn through Shara who posted their trunk or treat event on Facebook. My husband and I attended with our four dogs. Somehow in the mix of loading everyone back into the car, our little fur baby Madonna was accidentally left behind. It was one of the scariest moments of our lives. Thankfully, Madonna was brought to Shara's hands by a family who found Madonna by herself. Shara took care of Madonna like her own until we were able to come back. She kept her safe, warm, fed with food and water. People like Shara truly remind you there's still so much kindness in the world. The trunk or treat they hosted was the first event we've gone to and we look forward to attending many more! It's clear how much love and effort this team puts into everything they do. We're forever grateful for Four Paws Inn and can't wait to bring our fur babies back for future events and care services. If you're looking for a place that truly loves animals, this is it!!! We have been bringing our four fur babies here for few years now. They are very accommodating and staff are friendly. Two of our babies are seniors, they handle them very well. Once when I was dropping off my babies, I heard the staff speaking to a new pet parent explaining in detail on how his baby's first grooming session was going to include and how they would take their time so the baby would have a chance to understand. We highly recommend Four Paws Inn! read more

Left our kitty here for 5 nights and it was a great experience. The cat area is separate from the dogs - you can see their room from inside the lobby. Our cat had a two story area to herself, as well as someone playing with her daily and time outside of her cage to move around. Staff did a great job sending photos & videos. Four paws inn is always reliable and great. We bring our two shitzus here regularly and their haircuts are always done well and our pups are treated with care. Today we brought our corgi for a deshedding treatment and she looks great and the treatment has helped so much. They all look so cute and I would absolutely recommend you bringing your pups to this great spot. read more

This is the only groomer I trust with my very spoiled puppers! These folks are so gentle and caring, and my fur babies are always so squeaky clean and happy when they are finished! The prices are very reasonable, I definitely recommend them if you are struggling to find a pet groomer that you're comfortable with. I've been taking my French bulldog here for many years. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Every time I Pick up my dog she is so fresh, clean, and happy. Like most Frenchies my dog has high anxiety, and they are able to help her feel calm and comfortable. I recommend Judith, she does an amazing job. However, all of the staff is great. read more

I highly recommend this place for grooming. Ceara Hahn is the BEST. I won't let anyone else touch my husky. She does such a great job when he needs a haircut or even just a trim. I left my little dog in the care of 4 Paws for 3 nights, leaving her for the first time. She had a rough first night. They messaged me to ask if they could move her to the VIP room. There, she made doggy friend in a warm and cozy, homelike setting. They sent me videos a photos during her stay. I will definitely leave my fur baby with them again. Dexter has only been once, but that was a wonderful day for him. In fact, it looked a little like he didn't want to leave! The kennel is right next to a large open field, an ideal spot for Dexter for the walks he gets when he stays there. The manager, Cindy, is professional and knowledgable. As a bonus, Cindy is incredibly flexible. I had lots of places I had to be and no idea how long it would take me to get back to pick up Dexter. She was so incredibly accommodating. It was dirty and falling apart, kennels on dirt floors outside and the main office smelled strongly of dog feces. I've seen dog pounds in better shape, and to be honest the looks of the place reminded me of Tijuana. We were on a schedule so couldn't relocate our dog, so we had to leave her. While she was boarded I called every day to check on her and someone picked up every time, told me she was okay. The day we picked her up she was unusually fatigued. The next day she started showing signs of kennel cough, even though she is up to date on her bordetella. It's been three days and she has not had anything to eat, has eye discharge and is coughing terribly. I've tried calling 20+ times a day and they don't answer and they have no voicemail. If they knew another dog boarded had kennel cough they should have warned me, it's too obvious to claim they didn't know. And now they disappeared. We left our dog food bowls (they never handed them back so we didn't realize until we got home) and would like advice on kennel cough but no one is picking up. I have a feeling they are ignoring my call because they know. We feel incredibly scammed. If they care and want to make this right and read this they need to reach out to Wendy's parents and call us. I have called morning afternoon and before closing over 20x a day for the last 2 days and no pick up. If they respond I will update this post.

I felt like instead of finding compassion, and ethical emergency medicine, I had walked into a high-pressure sales campaign. The moment I declined a $650 X-ray, the pressure campaign intensified which went on for more than an hour. One by one, staff members, veterinarians, and finally the hospital director/owner all took turns hard-selling me on authorizing the X-ray which seemed to be used as a precursor to push for more unnecessary expensive diagnostics. After the 4th round of relentless argumentation and persuasion, I requested the 4th staff member to not get any more people to come and talk to me about X-rays, against my clear request, they still sent out the "heavy weight" director/owner as the marathon finisher to pressure me. Finally, I said to the director: "I am his owner, I am an adult, I have the right to make decisions for my pet's care." That should have ended the conversation, but the director even went on so far to tell me that if I left with my dog without X-ray, he could "lose his license" and that I could "sue him." I told him, "I guarantee you I won't sue you," and offered to sign a disclaimer accepting full responsibility for my decision and to release the hospital from any legal responsibility. The director then turned to his staff, shouted "Transfer!!" as if he's the one with all power to override my decision regarding the treatment of my pet. I said "Wait a second, do I get a say in what I want to do regarding the medical treatment of my dog?" It was met with silence. After 5 rounds of marathon campaign with no success, they finally left me alone. The point was not the ridiculous excuses that if the director/owner granted my wish to let me and my dog leave the hospital without doing the $650 X-ray "he will lose his license" or that I will "sue him," but doing an X ray can be used as a powerful and convincing tool for the hospital to frighten pet owners even more to push for THOUSANDS $$$$ more in expensive and unnecessary diagnostics and treatments. Dr. Randy Posada even went as far as telling me to "be prepared for end of life" arrangement for my dog because I refused their pressure to authorize the X-ray they tried so hard to sell. As for the offer to perform the radiographs at no charge mentioned in the Dr. Michael Hyder's reply below, I specifically asked Dr. Posada who was the attending vet to my dog about it. He explained that the "free" offer applies only to taking the radiographs. The interpretation and analysis of those radiographs would still cost approximately $600. In other words, while the imaging itself may be advertised as free, obtaining the diagnostic information that gives the radiographs any clinical value still carries a substantial fee. The complimentary snacks, bottled water, coffee, and tea displayed in the waiting room mean absolutely nothing. They create the appearance of a caring hospital while terrified pet owners are being scared and pressured into authorizing thousands of dollars in diagnostics during the most vulnerable moments of their lives. I left feeling disheartened and disgusted by the cold calculation, manipulation, and coercion. I would never return, and I would never recommend this hospital to any pet owner. If you go because it's after business hours and no regular pet hospitals are open, be prepared to be pressured into accepting a $650 X-ray and $600 blood test even for a dog sneeze. UPDATE: Reply to Director/owner Dr. Michael Hyder Dear Dr. Hyder, I disagree with your characterization of the events surrounding Mickey's visit. Your letter states that veterinarians must be able to communicate their concerns, risks, recommendations, and limitations so that clients can make informed decisions. I fully agree. At no point did I refuse to hear Dr. Posada or your recommendations. I listened, asked what information the radiographs were expected to provide, and how the findings would specifically alter Mickey's treatment plan. Despite asking multiple times how the results would affect Mickey's treatment specifically, I never received a direct answer. That is the information necessary for informed consent. You also told me that if I declined the radiographs, you or the hospital could lose your veterinary license and that I could later sue you. I ask that you identify the medical, legal, or professional basis for those representations. Is it VEG's policy to advise clients that a veterinarian's license is jeopardized whenever an owner declines a recommended diagnostic test? If not, what basis did you make those representations to me?

I brought my dog, Solomon, to Four Paws for a routine grooming appointment on Thursday, December 19th. When I picked him up, the groomer, Samantha, informed me that she had removed a significant amount of hair from his ears and noted that he might shake his head for a couple of days. By the next morning, Friday, December 20th, Solomon exhibited clear signs of distress. He refused to go on walks and cried when I attempted to inspect his ears. Concerned, I called the front desk at Four Paws, and they suggested using an apple cider vinegar solution in his ears. This recommendation struck me as unusual and prompted me to consult a friend who is a veterinary technician. She strongly advised against using this method. By Saturday morning, December 21st, Solomon's condition had deteriorated further. He was in such severe discomfort that he urinated on his bed when I attempted to examine his ears. I promptly took him to our veterinarian, where his ears were cleaned and an ear cytology was performed. The results revealed the presence of rods, cocci, and yeast. According to the veterinarian, these findings indicate that the infection likely stemmed from unsanitary practices or equipment used during the ear hair removal process. This experience has been deeply disappointing. What should have been a routine grooming appointment resulted in significant distress for my dog and a $600 veterinary bill. I entrusted Four Paws with Solomon's care, only to have that trust broken due to what appears to be negligence. I strongly encourage others to reconsider bringing their pets to this establishment. Pet owners deserve a higher standard of care, and Four Paws has failed to meet even the most basic expectations. read more

No, I did not get a phone call message from your facility at all, or I would not have written this review! Due to the fact that your mother Diane had worked so hard to build up Four Paws Inn so you and your sister Kelly could manage is why it was difficult to have the experience I had with you that day. Yes, there are two sides to every story. What upset you was "I said the way you run your business." Being a dog lover and owner and customer for over two years, I felt it would have been responsible/professional thing to do was to let me know that Nicole had left when I called for a monthly appointment. That was not done. Then I could have been included in the process of a new groomer. My dog was very nervous. Also, a remark was made that you lost a client to the person who cleans my dogs teeth. Nothing was said that you were unhappy to see us leave. This is not about who does what, it is about my dog and where he feels comfortable and gets the best care. From the moment I walked in, I could tell that this was going to be a great experience for both me and my furry little brother! The staff at Four Paws Inn were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me and my dog feel right at home. They took the time to get to know my dog and asked me questions about his likes and dislikes, which was a nice personal touch that I really appreciated. But what really stood out to me was the amazing work that Shara did. She was so patient and gentle with my dog, taking the time to make sure that he was comfortable throughout the entire grooming process. When I picked up my dog, I was amazed at how handsome he looked. Overall, I can't recommend Four Paws Inn enough. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the grooming services are top-notch. I can't say enough great things about Four Paws Inn ! From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. They took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and treated my pups with so much patience and kindness. Four Paws inn did an amazing job handling my pets they let me do an early drop off so I could catch my flight They offered grooming services before I picked up and allowed me to waive my late check out and come home with my babies all fresh and clean Shara at the front desk kept in contact with me over Instagram and kept my heart at ease when I picked up my babies we're invited back to enjoy a trunk or treat event this place really wowed me needless to say but I definitely will be returning for services thank you so much four paws inn read more

I looove Four Paws Inn!! I have been bringing my dog here for one year now and I have never had any issues. They take such great care of her and their day care is excellent. They know my dog by name and they give her playtime and a very clean cozy kennel while she is there. I have left her for a day and also for a week while I went on vacation. I also use their grooming services and have my dog bathed every few months. The girls are wonderful and they keep my dog safe and happy while in their care. Do not hesitate to leave your dog or cat here because they truly are professionals. read more

I brought my precious pet for boarding overnight for the first time, and I was greeted by the receptionist s Shara and Amanda. They asked all the right questions and made me feel confident that I was leaving my pet in the best of hands. I was able to take a tour before I left my baby in their care and it was absolutely clean clean clean the other pets appeared very happy too!! When I picked up princess she was happy to see me but sad to leave four paws inn ... we will definitely return for future services grooming offered here too!!! Fron Linda & Tom Mock.... Our family moved to Beaumont about 1 1/2 yrs ago. Since that time we have had the pleasure of leaving Pixie (our Boxer) at Four Paws Inn on two occasions and what to our surprise, Pixie wasn't ready to come home when we went to pick her up. We have left Pixie at kennels in Yorba Linda and Newport Oregon multiple times and she WAS ready to leave those businesses. Four Paws really cares about their borders in a way that is refreshing. I took my furbaby Prince here cause PetSmart left him half shaved. The back half. The manager Shara was extremely helpful and told me how to help him get comfortable with being groomed. Once again I had my cat groomed by Judith with great results. My cat is clean, nails/claws cut, he smells wonderful and no signs of skin irritation. I use to have Pete done by another mobile groomer and he always showed a skin issue, kind of like dandruff after grooming but not now. I did see new staffers and they were knowledgeable and helpful. We have been using Four Paws Inn for our fur-babies for years and have always had a positive experience. Have been extremely pleased with boarding our elderly dog here while on vacation either in Palm Springs or elsewhere. We live in Los Angeles and gladly make the 89 mile (each way) trip to drop our dog off before leaving on a flight from LAX. Yes, they're that good and caring.
