Signing up for training with Megan was the best decision I made for my pup!…read more Aksel is a Toy Aussie and the absolute cutest which means he got away with everything in my house. Stating the obvious, he was not well behaved. He would bark non stop, run out the door, herd his frenchie brothers, and there was zero chance to catch him because he is so fast. Just like most people I absolutely love my dog and sending him to camp for an extended time was kind of a bummer. But I knew if we kept on the way we were it was going to cause too much stress on the other animals and humans in the home. I can honestly say the entire time he was in Megan's care I was never worried about his safety or happiness. Megan truly loves the animals she works with and clearly is meant to do this. She sent daily updates with amazing pictures of all of their adventures. It was literally the highlight of each day to get to witness his incredible progress! The day I was reunited with Aksel it was so amazing to see not only how well mannered he was but the fact he was the same lovable goofball he was when he left. At the end of training Megan took the time to teach me how to maintain Aksel's progress and set us up for success. He has been home for a bit of time now and what a difference it has made. I didn't think it was possible but I think we all love him even more now. I cannot say enough about this experience. Megan is the best!

An absolute game-changer for Sage and our family!…read more We recently sent our purebred English Labrador, Sage, to Rayo's K9 Academy for their six-week board and train program, and we could not be happier with the results. Sending your beloved pet away for six weeks is a massive decision and we missed her terribly while she was gone, but Raymond and Jessica made us feel completely at ease from day one with consistent updates and clear communication. Before the program, we were struggling significantly with recall, leash pulling, constant barking, and getting Sage to settle down when activity wasn't appropriate. When we picked her up, the transformation was incredible. Raymond and Jessica completely fixed the pulling and barking, and Sage's recall is now absolutely phenomenal. She is still the same loving, happy Lab we know, but now she has the focus and impulse control to relax calmly when it's time to settle. What really set Rayo's K9 Academy apart was the "go-home lesson" held in a real-world distracting environment on the last day. They spent extensive time teaching us how to maintain the training at home so we could seamlessly transition back to daily life. If you are on the fence about a long-term board and train, trust me--it is worth every penny. Thank you, Raymond and Jessica, for giving us the foundation for a lifetime of success with Sage!
