We brought our eight month old Labrador retriever to Meg for her to work with her on her manners. This was the best decision my husband and I could have made. Sophie has been home for two weeks and we could not be happier. Her behavior has improved so much and we enjoy going on walks again. Sophie listens to commands, and Meg provided us with the tools on how to work with her. We are so happy we found Meg to work with our baby. We are all so happy, and we know how to work with her on a daily basis. read more

Signing up for training with Megan was the best decision I made for my pup! Aksel is a Toy Aussie and the absolute cutest which means he got away with everything in my house. Stating the obvious, he was not well behaved. He would bark non stop, run out the door, herd his frenchie brothers, and there was zero chance to catch him because he is so fast. Just like most people I absolutely love my dog and sending him to camp for an extended time was kind of a bummer. But I knew if we kept on the way we were it was going to cause too much stress on the other animals and humans in the home. I can honestly say the entire time he was in Megan's care I was never worried about his safety or happiness. Megan truly loves the animals she works with and clearly is meant to do this. She sent daily updates with amazing pictures of all of their adventures. It was literally the highlight of each day to get to witness his incredible progress! The day I was reunited with Aksel it was so amazing to see not only how well mannered he was but the fact he was the same lovable goofball he was when he left. At the end of training Megan took the time to teach me how to maintain Aksel's progress and set us up for success. He has been home for a bit of time now and what a difference it has made. I didn't think it was possible but I think we all love him even more now. I cannot say enough about this experience. Megan is the best! read more

Megan and Hannah were awesome! They helped train my golden retriever (1.5 yrs old). Before training my dog Scarlet would pull on a leash and want to say hi to every person/dog she could. Now she listens and waits for commands. Megan updates you everyday with photos/videos of progress. Such a great experience! Highly recommend! read more

What can we say about Megan and her training? Let me start with the fact that she came highly recommended by other trainers who could not meet our timelines for wanting our 7mo english labrador to be trained. After a few initial text messages we agreed to meet not knowing that she was a 90 minute drive from our house. Obviously with us providing a review, the 90 minute one-way drive was not a deterrent at all. In fact we knew right away that she was the right trainer (and boarder) for our lil guy while we were on our extended honeymoon. Personality: bubbly, upbeat, super positive, and fun Knowledgeable: extremely... training all types of dogs not to mention having one of her own dogs in competition. Cost: comparable to other bigger, more "corporate" trainers. We were on our honeymoon for 3wks. We received daily photos (typically 4-5) and frequent videos of our Zeus Jr. during training sessions, playing Megan's dogs, etc. It got to the point in videos that we thought Zeus Jr. was having so much fun that he wouldn't want to come home. And...being a puppy he was stubborn at first and resistant to being trained. Not to mention being a typical lazy lab. But Megan was very patient with our him and ultimately figured out his specific personality and what buttons to push with him. She got him to overcome fears and obstacles. Now at home we are continuing what she taught us. Her follow through on training the owners is detailed, thorough, and yet fun. You definitely get the sense you are part of her larger family and she wants the success for you and your fur baby. My wife and I strongly recommend Megan regardless of the distance you must drive. She is beyond worth the drive and the value you get from her expertise is well worth it. Don't waste your time with other trainers...book with her! You will soon be writing a recommendation much like this one...trust me. read more

I brought my Labrador (1 year old) to Megan to work on his reactivity, walking, and basic manners. She updated me every single day with pictures, videos, and texts describing what they worked on, what he struggled with, and how she improved it. Megan provided detailed feedback and I appreciated how quickly she responded to any questions I had. When I picked him up, he was a new dog!!! She spent almost 2 hours with me, ensuring that I understood his behavior, how to correct it, and provided direct feedback on how I can improve my response to ensure my dog's success. I will be referring anyone who asks to Megan, and our lives have been changed thanks to the solid foundation of training her and Hannah provided!!! read more

Words cannot describe how happy I am that my husband and I decided to put Beau through training with Megan at Manners with Meg Dog Training! He is a completely new dog and is so well behaved!! He listens when we call him (before he would look at us and walk away or just sit down) and now he comes running back with the biggest smile. He also is walking better, barking less, and does not run away when he sees an open door. Thank you again so much for taking care of our boy these last two weeks! It was definitely harder than I thought it was going to be without him around but we are so excited to have a good boy with good boy manners now (also Megan takes the BEST photos) read more

I was referred to Meagan through my daughter's teacher. I reached out to Megan with my needs of my puppy. She came over to my house to meet my puppy for the first time along with the consultation, she explained everything in such great detail. My puppy went through the advanced board and train for 3 weeks. In those three weeks, my puppy transformed into a whole new obedient girl. I am so happy I was referred to Manners with Meg, would refer her 100 times over. Her communication and reports are outstanding. The entire three weeks I got a report in detail of how my puppy did every day that made me feel so happy to know that she was in great hands and learning so much. read more

Our experience with Megan was amazing! We have a 9 Month old Bernedoodle that would not heel, get easily distracted, and simply not listen. Manners with Meg changed all of that. We received daily updates with pictures and videos of his progress (which was the highlight of our day). Megan truly cares about the dogs she works with, and makes sure they are given them same amount of love they receive at home. When we picked up Teddy, it was a night and day difference. He listened, was happy to show off his new command, and is now amazing when walking on a leash. We Highly recommend Manners with Meg!! read more

I truly can't describe how amazing Megan at Manners with Meg is! We have a 4 year old pug and a 9 month old baby. We decided to finally send Mylo to training because having a 9 month old and a dog that completely ignores you is not the business lol. He is a COMPLETELY different dog!! His goofy personality is still there but he ACTUALLY listens when we tell him to come, sit, and place. We cannot wait to take him on walks now! Thank you Megan for making it so much easier to have him around the baby and for truly loving him like one of your own while he was in your care! read more

Took my golden doodle Dallas to Megan for the 14 day training program. Was the best experience and money I have spent on my dog. He came back well behaved and listening. He had a problem with not coming back when called. That was fixed and so much more. She sent updates and pictures everyday and was so happy. She has seen him a couple times since the training and he loves to spoil her with all the doodle kisses. She is patient and knowledgeable and I wouldn't trust my dog with anyone else. read more

We have a Husky/Golden Retriever mix who is high-energy and can be high- drama. We initially had Megan help us with her Puppy Consultation because Luna was driving us crazy. Luna was eating everything, not potty trained, harassing our older dog and not sleeping through the night. We were having regrets at bringing in a young puppy, even though we are experienced dog owners. Megan spent a couple of hours with us, teaching us some basics, giving us permission to use the crate more, and she gave us ideas with how to keep her occupied, and her brain stimulated. Just that one visit made things much easier with our puppy. Once Luna was 5 months old, we had Megan come again to start training her with different very useful commands--Recall, Place, and most recently, help with good leash manners ("Heel"). Every time Megan comes, she gives us another way to nurture Luna into the wonderful dog that she is. We have owned 4 dogs previously, and never did any formal training. We really see how good training makes both your and the dog's life better. I would recommend formal training to every dog owner, and Megan is the person for the job! read more

Megan is truly worth every penny! We have a 3 year old German shepherd that went to see Megan when he was 9 months old! He was just wild! We wanted to be able to take him places! We couldn't walk him he would be the one to walk us and he had no house manners! She did amazing with him and he came back to us as a completely different dog! This past October we got a doodle puppy! He NEEDED Megan! He would jump on cabinets, bolt out the house anytime the door would open , bark at anything and everything and truly thought he ruled the houSo we had him go into a 2 week off leash program and took duke back for a refresher class! The dogs now are so so perfect! We can walk them without them barking at everything, the doodle isn't jumping in everyone's lap and they have the best house manners ever! We truly are so so happy with our results! Megan sent pictures every day with the best detailed update on how our boys were doing while in her care! 10 out of 10 would recommend!! read more

If you are looking for a trainer, look no further! Megan is AMAZING! My 1.5 year old cane corso Konga had a 2 week board and train program with Megan and the results are amazing! We were super nervous and sad to let our baby girl be gone for so long but Megan kept us updated with pictures and a thorough update of the day every single night. She was honest and told us her struggles and her successes! Konga was a stubborn girl. Her recall was basically non existent. We could not let her off leash when hiking or camping because we did not trust her to come when called. She also had a fence fighting issue when we would be at dog park. She would ignore all the dogs she was in the pen with and just want to go at the fence at dogs on the other side. She also would have some dog reactivity issues on leash. Not to mention, anytime we took her on a walk she would pull and zig zag looking around. I am so happy to report, Konga is a whole new dog and it's for the better!! She now is able to be off leash with excellent recall while hiking and she no longer pulls me at all!! Our walks are so peaceful now, she is by my side in a beautiful heel position. Her fence reactivity at dog park is now controlled and her dog reactivity while on walks is gone. We have had dogs barking and lunging towards us on a walk and with a simple leave it command, she ignores them and continues on. It is beautiful. The new freedom Konga has gained has made her a happier girl and the new peace of mind we have as owners is heartwarming. Thank you so much Megan, your patience, skill and love for these dogs shines bright. You're making happier people and most importantly happier pets. Thank you! read more

Megan was a little angel sent to our family. After dealing with a dog who was aggressive towards other dogs, based on anxiety, we now have a dog we can safely take out in public and trust. Not to mention, my kids and I can walk him without being pulled down the street. He has manners and listens better than previously (and we had puppy and training classes before). She did such an amazing job we now want to take out other dog (who we didn't feel needed any training). The amount of time and effort Megan puts into each animal is amazing. You can tell she truly loves your fur baby. Our dog Nash spent three weeks with her in her home. She had outings several times a week, mostly every day. She based the training off what the specific needs of the dog. One of the things I liked best was receiving detailed updates daily on the progress. She included pictures and videos as well. Megan answered any and all questions we had, including those after the 3 weeks ended regarding diet and even lab work for our other pup. She has unlimited resources and knowledge base for all things dog and we feel blessed to have her in our lives. We can't wait to send our other Aussie soon! read more

In short: if you're going to send your dog for training with anyone... LET IT BE MEGAN!! We sent our 9 month old German shepherd, Nora, to board and train for two weeks, and even now, after a couple weeks of having her home... I'm blown away. My dog is obedient and has such good manners!! Prior to training, I couldn't take her with us anywhere. I have two little girls and it bummed me out that we couldn't even attempt park days with our dog. She was just too crazy on the leash, with people and other animals. We also live on property and are near horses often so it just got to the point where I felt like I couldn't take my dog out with us....Even in our own backyard! A huge thing that impressed us, was Megan's communication. Not one day passed where we didn't get a full update on our girls progress with pictures and video. It really gave us peace of mind seeing her doing so well and more than that, HAPPY. Now that we have had her home with us, the fact we take her out on the property off leash and can call her to us and she comes immediately and into a heel walk made this worth every penny. Also! She offers boarding!! So I already know I'll be sending my dog to her because I know how well she took care of our girl. read more

We were so lucky and blessed to have been referred to Megan to train our little ball of energy. My husband and I had just adopted Kiko and we both did not know much about owning or training a dog. Kiko was ALL OVER THE PLACE when we first got her. She was pulling like nobody's business, couldn't control her excitement when meeting new people so she would jump and bodyslam them, and would get reactive when seeing dogs on walks. My husband and I had tried doing it on our own by watching numerous YouTube videos with little to no significant success. Then we met Megan. She was a Godsend. After just 2 weeks she had learned so many manners and we learned how to communicate with her more effectively. I don't know how she did it but we are so thankful that we had the opportunity to meet her and let her help us. Thank you Megan for everything! Seriously! Would highly HIGHLY recommend her to anyone struggling with communicating with their pup. read more

Megan has worked with two of our German Shorthair Pointers that had bad habits and no manners whatsoever. She is very professional and took our dogs under her care and made them into very good mannered happy dogs. They both loved being around Megan and came home with the best training for us. She worked with us the owners to understand what to expect and how to handle and deal with our dogs off leash and in public places. We have another puppy that we are looking forward to having her work with here soon. read more

Megan was a God send for our unruly pup. Our cattle dog couldn't go on a leash for a walk without lunging at people and dogs. I had no idea to train her and was so stressed about it. We sent her to Megan and within one day she was sending me videos of our pup out and about at parks with people and dogs around and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. She gave me daily videos/pictures to see how my pup was doing and my dog fell in love with her. Now I can take my sweet girl out with me to the store, park, etc. without the stress. Megan is the absolute best! We moved to the area about a year ago and our three year old Australian Shepherd and our one year-old German Shepherd needed a training adjustment. They were running the house and us... After a few sessions with Megan and her introducing us to the e collars our life with our dogs has changed forever for the better! We have much more control over every situation with our dogs, there is a mutual trust and they are so much more well-behaved! We Enjoy our time with them much more and feel more confident as dog owners than ever! Megan is also amazing at helping us troubleshoot. Any questions we have along our training journey! Aside from training, Megan has also watched our dogs as we go on vacation in her amazing top notch kennel. We can always rest easy knowing that our boys are in the best hands possible! Thank you for everything and more Megan!!!! read more

Meg is amazing. Our 2 yr old standard poodle had a mind of his own. No matter how hard we tried we could not train him. He is a really sweet dog but very strong willed. Two weeks with Meg and patch is a new dog. He is very well trained and behaved. We can't believe he is the same dog. read more

Honestly we can't thank Megan enough for how much progress she made with Vader in just 14 days. Vader was a very reactive dog to humans and other dogs, we were unable to control him on his leash and ultimately lost our minds lol. We asked for Megan's help to get his reactivity under control and for him to be able to comfortably walk on a leash and she did EXACTLY that. On the first day she made sure that he felt loved and that he could trust her which was a great feeling. We got our update everyday and it is something that the whole family looks forward too since they were so detailed and the pictures were the best part. Our overall experience was amazing, not once were we worried that he wasn't being taken care of or that he wasn't having a fun time, yes it was a lot of work and training for him but he also had a lot of fun. When you pick up your dog you can tell how much love Megan puts into each and every dog that she has the opportunity to train and that is why we will be bringing Vader and any future pups to her for training. Again Megan thank you for all you do and you are now aunty Megan for life read more

Meg trained or WPG, who was about 8 mo old at the time. WPGs are extremely smart with very high energy. We were having so much trouble even taking her for short walks around the block, I remember returning home crying after many days of unruly attempts at walks. Within 2 weeks, Meg had transformed our little girl, it was amazing-she even "trained" me and my husband on how to continue with our pup's progress. Megan is very good at what she does and loves dogs! She is prompt to respond and provides follow up consultations to give guidance for the owners. I'm very happy to have Meg in our lives and recommend her for all your dog training needs! read more

Megan is an amazing dog trainer. She was recommended to me as Megan provided amazing training to 3 of my family's dogs. I knew I wanted to put my dog, Scarlett, through training as she began to show signs of fearfulness, aggression when on walks, and lunging on the leash. I did all I could do to try and support Scarlett, but I knew Megan would be a better option. Scarlett spend 2 weeks with Megan going over basic commands and learning leash manners. Megan sent updates and photos daily to share Scarlett's progress. Scarlett is very attached to me, so leaving her was difficult especially when she showed me she was scared. Megan provided her a comfortable place to relax and provided many breaks for her to release her anxiety/stress. The photos I am attaching are a few that Megan sent me through Scarlett's Training. I recommend you utilize Megan as she is very knowledgeable, understanding, and trusting with your fur baby. read more

We had such a great experience with Megan! We choose the 2-week stay for our 1-year-old cocker spaniel. We brought him to Megan because he was jumping on us, not consistently following commands, and lunging and barking at dogs and people. I was so nervous and worried when I dropped him off, it felt like the first time I dropped my kids off at daycare. However, by the end of the first day my nervousness had dissipated. I received a long text from Megan all about his first day along with pictures of him. Each day thereafter, she provided a long, detailed text update about where they went, what training she provided, and how he behaved along with beautiful pictures of him. They went everywhere from the local park to Yucaipa to Redlands, to Rancho Cucamonga to Ontario among others. Many days also included an edited video with clips of him throughout the day. She corrected these behaviors and so much more. She also gave our dog a bath on his last day with her and he came home smelling so fresh with the softest fur. Megan actually brought our dog home to us, and stayed for over two hours to review the proper use of the e-collar, walking, as well as resolving any issues we've been having with him in our home. She was even engaging and friendly with my two teenagers :) Our dog is now well-behaved and follows commands every time, while still being his playful happy-go-lucky self. We now feel like we can confidently take him out with us - we're looking forward to a trip to the beach! read more

Megan trained my 6 dogs! 2 German Shepards, 2 Beagles, and 2 miniature dachshunds. Every single one of my fur babies absolutely loved her! Before I had the dogs trained by Megan, they were all over the place with their abilities to listen, sit, stay, walk on a leash and especially running away from me as if it was a game! My Beagles especially were runners and jumpers! They now behave so well. The German Shepherds scared people just because they would jump on them, not to be mean but to be loved but being 75lbs plus is a lot of dog love! They now are respectful of people and heal when told and no jumping unless of course I want them too. My doxies could not walk on leashes. They would trip me constantly and bark at anything that moved! Now they are so well behaved. If I were to ever get another dog, I would definitely hire Megan! 5 stars every time, every dog! My Gsd's and beagles did the 2 week board and train and the doxies 1 week board and train. read more

Megan is a true dog lover who takes great pride in her work. I was seeking training assistance for my energetic Labrador and Megan was there to assist. We initially took our Great Dane, Hank, to Megan when he was 8 months old. We did the 14 day board and train program and the results were amazing. He was completely trained off leash with the e-collar. We then adopted his sister, Diva, at the age of 3 and elected to do the 7 day board and train program for her...yet again we were super pleased with the results. Megan is amazing with dogs and we continue to refer her to everyone we know who has a dog in need of training. As a result of Megan's amazing work, our kids can walk both Great Danes with ease (keep in mind these dogs weight 160-180 pounds). I honestly cannot thank Megan enough for the miracle she has worked. I'm still unsure what kind of magical wand she possesses, but Jack has made a complete transformation after his stay at her wonderful home. At the beginning of his journey, he was completely testy, only sat for food and ignored all other commands. He probably did not even know what a command was to be honest! He got away with too much for too long. Megan provided the most amazing daily updates and the most adorable photos of our handsome Jack! It truly felt like we were there with him every step of the way. Megan stayed very open through the 21 day journey and made it very clear what her focus areas were for the day. She even stayed mindful on his health as well, which was very much appreciated, and treated him as if he were her own. He came back home as happy as ever and we are going to follow through with her provided at home instructions so he can continue to grow. A million thanks and hip hip horrays for Megan and her patience with Jack Jack read more

Where do I even begin! I have a german shepherd that was awful. The sweetest girl but absolutely no manners and very reactive toward other dogs. Taking Nala out for walks was always a nightmare and as her owner I was on edge praying we wouldn't run into another dog. When around other dogs she was incredibly reactive. She would bark, lunge, her hair would stand up, and pulled very hard on the leash. I sent Nala to Megan for 2 weeks and was fully prepared to be told there was no hope for my Nala and I got the exact opposite. Nala came back a completely different dog manner wise. She transformed my girl into the well behaved dog we all want our pups to be. Megan loves on your fur baby while turning your pup into the best dog they can be. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about what she does and since then I have referred friends and family to her. While out I often get stopped from people asking how I got my dog to listen and be off leash, and my answer is always MEGAN! I have nothing but good things to say, highly recommend. read more
