We had gone to another trainer and felt as coco did not meaningfully improve. So we were hesitant to try another trainer. Mainly due to embarrassment. We felt as if we have failed our dog. We are so lucky to have found Taylor! By the end of just the first meeting he was walking her around and she was not reacting at all! Through the private sessions Taylor taught us how to train her. Gives us the tools to set her up for success. However, it is through the group sessions on the weekend that the real magic happens and where coco learned the most. Being surrounded by other people and other reactive dogs. Gives coco the ability to put her skills to the test in a safe environment where everyone is understanding if she breaks and barks. Like all things, you get out what you put in. By consistently working on her training and consistently going to group sessions, we have seen such huge improvement with coco. If you are on the fence or just looking for a trainer that will take the time to ensure you are being set up for success. Taylor is the guy to go to! We cannot recommend him enough!

Turbo has struggled with aggression, and Taylor has been very patient with him and has helped us better understand how to handle his behavior. With Coco, we've been working on basic obedience, commands, and building her confidence. We've already seen improvements with both dogs, and we're really happy with the progress they've made. What we really appreciate about Taylor is that he doesn't just work with the dogs, he also teaches us as owners. He shows us different tricks and techniques to better handle our dogs and gives us things to practice at home. His prices are very fair, and you can tell he genuinely cares about helping our dogs. We're very happy we found Taylor and would definitely recommend him to anyone in the Redlands area looking for a great dog trainer!

Signing up for training with Megan was the best decision I made for my pup!…read more Aksel is a Toy Aussie and the absolute cutest which means he got away with everything in my house. Stating the obvious, he was not well behaved. He would bark non stop, run out the door, herd his frenchie brothers, and there was zero chance to catch him because he is so fast. Just like most people I absolutely love my dog and sending him to camp for an extended time was kind of a bummer. But I knew if we kept on the way we were it was going to cause too much stress on the other animals and humans in the home. I can honestly say the entire time he was in Megan's care I was never worried about his safety or happiness. Megan truly loves the animals she works with and clearly is meant to do this. She sent daily updates with amazing pictures of all of their adventures. It was literally the highlight of each day to get to witness his incredible progress! The day I was reunited with Aksel it was so amazing to see not only how well mannered he was but the fact he was the same lovable goofball he was when he left. At the end of training Megan took the time to teach me how to maintain Aksel's progress and set us up for success. He has been home for a bit of time now and what a difference it has made. I didn't think it was possible but I think we all love him even more now. I cannot say enough about this experience. Megan is the best!

We enrolled our 4.5 month old puppy in the Puppy Playgroup at Zoom Room Dog Training because we…read morewere sold on the idea of safe, controlled socialization with professional supervision. The concept is great and the facility itself was clean and well-organized. However, the actual experience did not feel as structured or controlled as expected. During our session, a much larger puppy chased our puppy, which caused her to panic, run into a wall, and urinate out of fear. What was most concerning was the lack of immediate intervention. The dog was allowed to approach her again shortly after the incident, before she had time to recover, and I had to step in and ask the trainer and owner for space. From what we understood, these classes are meant to provide "positive, controlled exposure" to build confidence, but the environment felt more like free interaction than guided socialization. Introducing toys and releasing multiple dogs at once seemed to escalate energy levels rather than create calm, safe introductions, especially for younger or more sensitive puppies. They finally had the bigger puppy sitting in a corner to calm down and our puppy was able to interact with a smaller dog afterward. However, this felt more like her coping despite the environment, rather than being supported by it. I believe this type of class may work well for more confident or experienced dogs, but for younger puppies who are still learning social skills, closer supervision and quicker intervention, especially when chasing or fear is involved, would make a significant difference. Overall, the idea behind the program is strong, but the execution of the playgroup did not match the level of structure and safety we were expecting.
