Badlands Boarding is a second home for our sweet boy, Puddles. He is so well taken care of and really enjoys the company of the other dogs. Amy is highly knowledgeable and dedicated to the well being of all the animals that stay with her. I trust her and Christian with my dog's life, and I know when he stays there, he will come home tired from all the playing and happy as can be. This is the only place I leave my little buddy, and I know he loves spending time with Amy and the crew (including his best friend, Waffles.) I cannot recommend this place enough!!! read more

If you live in the Redlands area and looking for a place to board your dogs this is the place! Amy is absolutely amazing and so great with our pup. We take our dog here a couple times a month for doggy daycare and every time we pull up she cannot wait to get out of the car to greet Amy. I have also boarded my dog here for overnight stays and I never worry about her when we are away. The facility is very clean and there is such a large area for the dogs to run and roam. I have a border collie (lots of energy!) and Amy takes her out several times a day to play ball with her. Our dog is always exhausted by the time we get home, which is always a plus for me! I cannot say enough great things about Badlands Boarding and Amy the owner. She has our business always and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a boarding facility! read more

What a fabulous experience for all of us! I had been looking for a new boarding facility for the past 2 years when I saw a review for Badlands on Yelp. When my husband and I went to visit the Badlands Boarding facility, I knew right away Amy and Christian were the ones for us. Their facility is extremely clean and well maintained. They clearly had a passion for the dogs they were caring for, and I noticed right away how much each dog loved them back. They were kind enough to give us a tour and to ask the questions necessary to help us make the best individualized boarding choices for our dogs. We were able to make our reservations in advance, and they were willing to work with us around our airline restrictions. During our dogs' stay, Amy sent us pictures of our dogs exploring and having a great time at their facility. And because their birthday occurred during their stay, they gave them a birthday party complete with party hats and doggy ice cream! Those extra touches reassured us that their first boarding experience was a happy one. Amy and Christian's kindness and attention was very much appreciated. Our dogs were happy after their stay, and I can honestly say I look forward to boarding with them again. Nothing makes your trip more pleasurable than knowing your pets are being cared for and loved on while you are gone! read more

I can't believe it has taken me this long to write a review for Amy and badlands boarding. She is the most sweet and caring person to watch over your fur baby! We have been taking our dog Aspen there for about a year now. We trust her completely with our dog. She used to work as a vet and we even go to her for unofficial second opinions. The dogs have so much room to play. This is definitely not your typical boarder that just keeps the dogs in a small kennel. She we take them out and play. If I could give 10 stars I would! Amy was AMAZING with my puppers and took care of him like he was her own! I went on vacation out of the country for two weeks and left my 3 y/o lab/pit mix in her care. I was so nervous about leaving him because I had never boarded him before. Amy was so kind and patient, and reassured me that he would be treated like family while he was there. Amy went above and beyond any of my expectations! She would send me updates with pictures and videos and my baby looked like he was having a blast. My pup was turning 3 while I was away, and to my surprise, Amy celebrated my boy in style, cute bday hat, puppuccino and all! I can't rave enough about Amy! We love you Amy!!! read more

GREAT SPOT TO BOARD YOUR DOGS!!!! we were evacuated due to a huge fire and needed to send our DEAF BULLDOG, we called and they said no problem bring him in! He's a bit standoff-ish due to being a rescue that was returned 3 times due to owners not knowing how to deal with him being deaf, but he got there and the warm welcome he received he acted like he had been there many times and was ok with it! He got the full treatment a lavender mint bath, his glands expressed, and lots of love and play while he was there! He almost didn't want to get in the car to come home after!!! I felt very safe leaving for vacation knowing my dogs would be in good hands. I highly recommend!

It was our first time coming to Badlands. We boarded our 2 English bulldogs here with Amy and Christian. They made the experience feel if I was leaving my babies with family. Prior to bringing them to Badlands we were having problems with my male pup who is deaf, and as soon as we got home he adapted back on schedule. We went to visit while we were away from them and Amy/Christian showed that not only board them but they truly care about them. There's so many great things I could say about this place! We left our 15 year old boy here for a few days and when we picked him up he was not in a rush to leave, but honestly neither were we Amy is awesome and has a wonderful heart for animals and her job. The kennels are very spacious and clean, she gives them love and attention. It's a lovely, peaceful place. We couldn't be happier! We're so glad to have found Badlands Boarding. Amy was wonderful with our dogs. She has the best calm energy that dogs can pick up on. Our two small dogs don't like most people, so we are usually wary of boarding them. With Amy's experience and expertise, it was never an issue and she was even able to pick them up and carry them around (which they don't let anyone but us do!) What a great experience our dogs had staying eleven night here at the Badlands Boarding. Amy is extremely caring and our two dogs just loved her. She was thoughtful enough to send a couple of photos with an update during our trip. Which really put our minds at ease. I was going for a weeklong trip and was so apprehensive to go because I had to board my dogs and had not had a great experiance when I boarded them in the past. I called Badlands boarding and arranged a meet and greet with Amy. My dogs liked her and she was so warm and personable so I decided to board my two dogs there. While I was gone, she sent updates and pictures and it made me feel so relaxed while we were gone. This place is a real gem. I was searching everywhere is the Highland/Redlands area for a boarding place that would allow me to leave my fur babies without worry. I have a two older Yorkshire terriers and larger fearful cattle dog mix, I met with Amy and toured the facility before boarding them. I love this place!
