He could tell I had so much tension I been stressing out about my dog and he made sure to check in with my concerns. We recently moved and our Bichon Frise did not take the move well. He has since become very aggressive and attacks the other family dog viscously. This was not like him at all. We never trained him so he was a free spirit dog you could say but his behavior just got worst in the last month. Don taught us techniques to get him to listen. I was shocked. I've never seen him listen. Also even after he left my dog was more calm and would listen. We are going to make sure to follow all his steps and tools he gave us to succeed. At the end of the day we trained us too lol I recommend him 100 percent. I called him yesterday and thankfully he had a cancellation and pray and I snatched that appointment fast.

He could try and squeeze out whatever money he can by promising the same outcome in a span of 4-5 weeks but he is honest and cuts the B.S right from the start. Obviously you have to practice practice practice until it becomes a habit for the dog so in the end, it comes down to you. Are you willing to put in the work and have a great relationship with your dog. If you are, save yourself hundreds of dollars and visits, and call Don.

Hopeless. That's how my wife and I felt with our dog coco. She was very reactive towards people and…read moretowards other dogs. We had gone to another trainer and felt as coco did not meaningfully improve. So we were hesitant to try another trainer. Mainly due to embarrassment. We felt as if we have failed our dog. We are so lucky to have found Taylor! By the end of just the first meeting he was walking her around and she was not reacting at all! Through the private sessions Taylor taught us how to train her. Gives us the tools to set her up for success. However, it is through the group sessions on the weekend that the real magic happens and where coco learned the most. Being surrounded by other people and other reactive dogs. Gives coco the ability to put her skills to the test in a safe environment where everyone is understanding if she breaks and barks. Like all things, you get out what you put in. By consistently working on her training and consistently going to group sessions, we have seen such huge improvement with coco. If you are on the fence or just looking for a trainer that will take the time to ensure you are being set up for success. Taylor is the guy to go to! We cannot recommend him enough!

Turbo has struggled with aggression, and Taylor has been very patient with him and has helped us better understand how to handle his behavior. What we really appreciate about Taylor is that he doesn't just work with the dogs, he also teaches us as owners. He shows us different tricks and techniques to better handle our dogs and gives us things to practice at home. His prices are very fair, and you can tell he genuinely cares about helping our dogs. We're very happy we found Taylor and would definitely recommend him to anyone in the Redlands area looking for a great dog trainer!

From the very first session, Manny knew exactly how to meet her where she was. Over the course of her training, we watched Frankie gain confidence, learn structure, and completely transform her behavior. She's now calmer, more obedient, and carries herself with a level of assurance we never thought we'd see this early on. Manny didn't just train our dog -- he taught us how to support her long-term, and his approach was patient, thoughtful, and incredibly effective. We couldn't be happier with the results. If you're looking for a trainer who truly understands dogs and cares deeply about their progress, Manny is the one. Highly recommend!

Throughout the entire process, she consistently communicated with us and always replied whenever we texted for updates or photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dog was reactive to people, other dogs, motorcycles, bikes, and more, and we already saw such a huge improvement even on the car ride home. You can tell how much time, patience, and care Carissa puts into her training. Carissa even met us halfway to pick her up as we lived a little far from her. When we picked our dog up, Carissa spent over an hour teaching us everything we need to know to continue reinforcing the commands and training at home. She made sure we felt confident before leaving. She even offered to come to our house afterward if we struggled with anything, which really shows how dedicated she is to both the dogs and their owners. We're so grateful for all her hard work and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trainer!

We used Cari for a 2-week board and train for our dog, Chorizo. During the training period,…read morecommunication was limited and we often had to follow up ourselves to get updates. At the same time, we were seeing our dog being posted on Instagram more than we were getting direct updates, even after we asked for them. She pinned Chorizo on her Instagram, in the number one post slot, while we hadn't heard from her in three days and didn't even know he was going on a field trip. This was especially difficult for my wife, who had recently lost her father and was already going through a lot. Being separated from our dog was hard on her. We asked multiple times for updates so we could reassure her, but it never felt like we were getting the same level of feedback other reviewers experienced. The training experience didn't match what we expected. Recall still needs work, and "place" became more confusing. Before, he would go where I pointed. Now he tries multiple spots and flinches (expecting a stim), even after we bought him a cot. We asked Cari to introduce Chorizo to our e-collar (EZ Educator). During the consultation, she mentioned that he would learn recall and other commands to near perfection before the e-collar was introduced, and that vibration would be used before stim. The handoff only showed e-collar stim commands, and vibration was not introduced. His recall without the e-collar still needs work. We never received a clear breakdown of what he was working on during the program and mostly followed his progress through Instagram. After pickup, I had to follow up just to get a list of commands. The handoff felt rushed. He was exhausted, it was a hot day, and she had forgotten a water bowl, so a lot of the time was spent just letting him drink water. There was no follow-up afterward to see how he was doing. A few hours after getting him back that Friday, we took him to a groomer who pointed out a cracked toenail down to the quick and irritation on his neck from his e-collar. The groomer said the irritation looked like burns from an e-collar that hadn't been rotated and advised us to monitor his paw to make sure it didn't get worse. We took it easy and avoided taking him out while he healed, but by Tuesday his paw started bleeding. We notified Cari and let her know we would be taking him to the vet after my scheduled surgery. I had carpal tunnel release surgery on both hands that Wednesday, and I took him to the vet while recovering on Thursday. He developed an infection and a fever that required sedation, nail removal, and stitches. This whole experience is not what we expected after reading her Yelp reviews. Even trying to work things out with Cari regarding the vet bills, after we negotiated the cost down with the vet and insurance covered a significant portion, was disappointing. We weren't asking for everything, just something fair. The procedure cost about $900 if the dog is sedated. We asked her to participate $350-$380. She offered $100. When I told her that Chorizo was at the vet because his paw was bleeding, her response was, "Ok thank you for the update." We weren't able to reach an agreement and were told, by Cari, that small claims court would be the best way to resolve it, which is what we are now pursuing. Regarding our training equipment, we also had to follow up on two leashes and e-collar prongs that weren't returned after the program. She told my wife she broke the retractable leash and would send a replacement right away, but a week and a half later we still haven't received confirmation that it's been sent. (Edit: retractable leash and prongs received 3/31 via Amazon Prime.)
