I really hate rating this place so low...after reading all the reviews, I had high expectations for this place. I was very let down. I would say Thai is one of my fav foods, and I recently got back from Thailand/Cambodia, so maybe my bar is set kinda high. We got green curry, red curry and panang curry with chicken, and asked for spicy, to go for lunch. First of all the panang curry had tons of oil floating on top of the container, and was soo fishy tasting I couldn't even eat it. The green and red curry were lacking flavor- def NOT spicy- and the curry itself was very runny, more like broth than the thicker way a curry should be. We ended up not eating any of the panang, and only some of the red and green curry- threw out most of our food. The people working there were super nice, but I will not be returning here for Thai. read more

Over priced and under quality. I cannot discourage someone from patronizing this establishment more. Even the Thai iced tea was gimmicky. It comes in a plastic sealed cup and for the price I think you could plate it in gold and still be under what they charge. I found the food to be over sugared and over salted. My standards for Thai food were set in Los Angeles and this doesn't even match the lowest, least authentic level in LA. The final insult was the bill. Delivery. How cool is it that now I can be super lazy, not even get ready to go, and still eat decent thai food. Have I had better thai food? Of course, but this is such a better alternative to ordering a pizza. Plus the delivery was freee no charge. I had the pad thai which i cleaned the foam plate. My wife had the seafood special which looked good.. she liked it. Plus it came with forks, napkins, sauces, and in a stapled bag. I wanted to treat my staff to Thai food and came across this restaurant on yelp. IT was the highest in the area (4 stars) and offered free delivery via EAT24. I have never used that service before. IT was awesome. I logged into my yelp account prior to the restaurant even being open (11:00) and placed my ordered online. IT was very simple. I was able to request special things (chicken instead shrimp spring rolls). After inputing all of the orders, I paid for it via credit card. It told me the est delivery time was 11:50am. At 11:52am, I poked my head out the door and saw all of the food sitting in the staff's breakroom. No receipt for me to sign...no call for confirmation (only email confirmation). Every thing was packaged nicely with order # Condiments and utensils were given. Awesome experience all together. food: I ordered the phad see-ew beef and thought it was pretty good. Flavor was on point (no too sweet). Beef was tender and had a decent amount. I would def try this restaurant and service again. read more

My husband and I found this gem right when they opened and have been going ever since. The owners are always so friendly and the food is always fresh. We usually do take out but occasionally dine in for their great lunch specials. Delicious lunch salad, soup and Pad See Ew with a Thai Iced Tea is the usual that never disappoints. One recommendation I'd give to them is to work on the smell in the restaurant. The first thing we smell is the bathroom, it's not a bad smell but it's definitely a toilet sewer kind of smell that doesn't mix well when you're trying to eat. From the outside this little place doesn't look too great. Step inside and you're greeted with a smile and a sit where you like. The chicken larb appetizer is so full of flavor. I could just eat that! However, the green curry, the crab fried rice and noodle dishes......yum!!! As at most Thai places they will make it as spicy or not as you like. There are around 8-9 in the family that occasionally like to meet for dinner...Thai Kitchen is one of our favorite neighborhood places. We all love it! read more

I've only heard horror stories of food service issues of this manner, now I am a believer that it happens. The spring rolls were lack luster, and not very traditional.
