Got food here for the second time today. It was just as fantastic as the first time. Highly recommend the curries. Pineapple curry with tofu has lots of vegetable and tofu, well worth the money. Owners are super nice which is a big plus! We will be regulars for sure. read more

So I've been looking for a Thai Food spot to replace my favorite one in Rancho ( Boonsee Thai) and this is the 4th place I've tried in Riverside, and sadly the worst. It may be a collection of disappointments leading to this review but I was so irritated after I left that I felt I had to leave a review. I came here because of decent reviews on here and I wish I could write a review on Yelp now. I ordered the Pad Se Ew with shrimp and some crab rangoons. This is my go to. They brought out the Crab Rangoon's and I was confused. It was just cream cheese. So I asked and she agreed there was no crab and took it back. She then came back to me and pointed out a small piece of crab at the bottom. Now it maybe a different style of cooking them but I thought the stuffing was a mixture of crab onions seasoning and cream cheese. Not just cream cheese with a piece of crab. I didn't touch anymore. Pad Se Ew was okay but it was a little runny and for charging $2 extra for shrimp they gave me like 5 pieces. After I told the lady I didn't need a To-Go box for the sorry excuse for Crab Rangoon's they gave me she then started giving me evil looks. I've only been a couple times and order basic tofu pad Thai. They are good sized portions with lots of tofu that I split for two meals. Priced right, good flavor and always ready on time, as I do pick up. I decided to order a boba smoothie this time as a splurge. Could have done without that. It was filled with chunky ice, not blended well and the boba was so swollen it wouldn't suck up the straw. I'll likely return again for the food but not the drink. Parking lot is a bit cramped and difficult to get to as well but not a deal breaker. read more

I absolutely love this place. Lunch specials are filling, affordable, and they have a great variety of food. Best Thai iced tea in town! My favorite dish is spicy basil leaves with pork. It's not your regular Thai restaurant as far as ambience goes. But, I'll sacrifice it for great food. It was delicious. It took about 10 minutes. Fresh food, light not heavy and most of all flavorful. Been here many times. Love the red curry and the pad see ewe. They are always on time and taste is consistent.

Haven't had Thai food in a while so this place had high ratings and we thought we'd give it a shot. Was a little worried at how few people were there at lunchtime but don't know the area so no idea if lunches are normally slow around here so gave the benefit of the doubt. Had red curry chicken and wife had shrimp pad Thai. Food was good and came fairly quickly, but both dishes were a bit too sweet. Curry can run sweet with the coconut milk, but pad Thai is supposed to be savory. Maybe they adjusted for the American palate, but for someone who has had real Thai food in Thailand, it was a little disappointing. We were planning on trying the mango sticky rice, but the portions of the entrees were big and filling so will have to try that next time. It's not really authentic Thai flavors, but was good enough to eat here again. read more

Location is a bit out of the way on California Ave. As others noted the wait was nothing to sneeze at; my order came a good 15 minutes or so after my friends. But the food was good and reasonably plentiful. They didn't skimp on my yellow curry and it was suitably creamy and full of flavor. Likewise my friend received a good portion of Pad Thai. It could've been more a little bit spicier but I can't complain too much. Service was okay. Considering the prices and how much you get compared to say for example Royal Orchid Thai I'd say this is the so far the top of the pack for Thai cuisine in the city of Riverside. Love this place! Just noticed it last week via yelp, and tried it on Saturday night. I had the Basil beef, and my gf had the Thai BBQ chicken. Food was exceptionally fresh - and that even included the Thai chilis in the fish sauce that they bring you ... obviously chopped that same day. The Thai BBQ chicken deserves special mention - it was cooked-to-order, and for $8.95 (I think) it was a large half chicken ... and not overcooked, it was perfect. I will also say that this place is very pro-Riverside - which I really like. They use the mission bell as part of their logo, and that gets a thumbs up from me. Trust me, skip this Thai restaurant! We ordered the Pad Thai, pad see ew, Tom ka kai and the sampler. EVERY SINGLE item was discusting. I asked for steamed rice upon arrival since I forgot to put in order and the lady wanted to charge me $1 for a tiny scoop, no side orders of rice...even though it's on their menu. Riverside Thai Kitchen has to be the best overall Thai food in Riverside. The options of delivery (3 mile radius), take out or dine in are all positive. Lunch is $6.95 which includes a cold crisp green salad, egg roll and your choice of steamed, jasmine or brown rice. Portions for lunch are perfect and the dinner portion is almost double the size of lunch. All of the your favorite dishes are here and the service is excellent. They are very accommodating and they want your experience to be the best you've ever come across. The owner is Ron and his girlfriend Jenny.
