I recently bought a Mazda 3 from the Riverside team a few weeks ago. The only issue that I noticed was that they need some organizational work from within. They could not find my car that they said they had. However, not finding my car amongst their inventory, allowed me to get a great deal on the car I really wanted. It just happened to be the fully loaded 3 on the showroom floor. They didn't haggle us like the Nissan people next door and they got right to it. They were straight shooters that allowed my husband and I to let our defenses down. Fernando was our salesmen and he made everything happen perfectly. My car is amazing, gorgeous, and suits me perfectly. Thanks Riverside Mazda for being so amazing!!! 10 stars if I could!!! read more

Thank you Riverside Mazda! You fixed my Mazdy! Brian was great! He ordered all my parts, fixed my driver side mirror and secured my spare tire...You are the best! read more

Best service...unlike Romero Mazda...Riverside Mazda got me the part i needed in a day! It was special ordered yesterday (an option Romero Mazda never offered me and I waited more than 2 weeks for no part and no answer as to when the part was coming). Riverside was concerned about getting my far fixed and completed the repair in less than a few hours. Plus when they washed my car they vacuumed it (Romero Mazda doesn't vacuum the inside, cuz it's their stupid policy). Coming here from now on to get service done. read more

My experience at Mazda was truly amazing. I was already nervous to be buying a car all on my own but the process was made a lot more easy and smooth to go through. Before I even went in to drive the car, Isaiah was able to give me all the knowledge on a brand new 2019 Mazda 3 making it easier for me to see if it would be of my liking. When I went in to purchase my car Isaiah showed me all aspects of the vehicle and how to use them to the best of their abilities. Both Isaiah and his manager Zabi worked patiently with me for quite a while to get me the best deal possible and i'm quite astonished at the end result. Financing with Mario was quick and easy.I can definitely say I walked out of there content, confident, and excited in my new purchase. I'm now the owner of a new car at a great price and i'm loving it. Thank you to Isaiah, Zabi, and Mario for helping me. read more

Stay away from this dealership. Awful guys. Big Liars. Said they have the exact model of the car we asked for and made us travel 60 miles to find out they lied. They took us all around their inventory pretending they have the car somewhere and finally used the cheap trick " we sold the last one yesterday" Culprits Tony and Johnny. read more

Received excellent and professional service from Ciara (internet customer service specialist) and "Shack" (floor salesperson). Better pricing than three other Mazda dealerships in Orange County. Looked for Mazda online and found the year, make, color we wanted (not available at other dealerships). Over the phone, Ciara gave us a competitive price that provided incentive to drive out of our way on a rainy day. When we got there, Ciara met us. She was very professional and kind. She told us that she had given her numbers to the finance people and then she introduced us to the salesperson on the floor..."Shack". Shack is so well-versed on the Mazda product line and is very knowledgeable about how Mazda compares to the other brands we were considering. We have been a Honda family since 1983, but Shack was able to confirm our belief that it was time to make a switch to Mazda. Happily, when it came to talk numbers, Shack presented Ciara's numbers. No funny business. Yes, Lo-jack was added to the car and not listed on the quote, but it was negotiated. No complaints. Finance mgr was also low pressure. After the financing was done, Shack had the car detailed, and because it was after hours on a Saturday (8:15p?), he personally took the car's tires to the nearby Mobil station to test their air pressure and fill them to the proper pressure. It was rainy and late, and he still did it. Then he pulled the car into a well-lit maintenance bay and went over all the dashboard controls, etc. Honestly, he went above and beyond. I would recommend him to any one looking for a Mazda. Riverside Mazda has a rare gem in "Shack". Overall a very good experience. read more

Horrible shady employees at this place beginning with the receptionist. I had an appointment with Nissan next door and they said the same employees worth both dealerships. I mentioned to receptionist I had an appointment with Anthony or Alexandria and they said Anthony was off. I asked for Alexandria and she asked me to wait while she got her. Some guy came instead and I told him everything again that I was there to see the two cars which I brought up on my phone and he said ok let me get the keys and looked info up on the computer. I failed to mention this was my teenage daughter's first car that we are purchasing and she was excited to go look at these two cars, all the employees knew very well that they were not going to show me these cars and we're being deceitful and unethical. My daughter was disappointed and we both did not understand what the heck was going on. So this guy walked us all around his lot showing us cars we did NOT want to see because he knew very well the cars were at Nissan next door and he did not have access to them. I asked where are these two cars, that's all we came for. He told me they were probably in the back being detailed, I told them why would that be when I had an appointment at nine this morning with Alexandria or Anthony. We left wasting our morning there, my daughter was disappointed. So I get in my car and message Alexandra saying why would you waste my time I was there like we agreed. She says you didn't check in at the front desk. I explained the situation that I walked into mazda and I was told that they handled both dealerships and that Anthony was off. She says that they both have an Anthony so it was a mistake. I told her to they also have in Alexandria because if they do then that's a huge coincidence. It is obvious now they were just trying to get me to look at their cars when they knew very well they are not part of the Nissan dealership and were never going to show me those two cars. read more

The really took care of us and worked to make the deal we wanted work! Rick was a great salesman!

I wish I had read the reviews for this dealership before driving 40 minutes to look at a pre-owned CX-5 on their lot in early January. I did not have an enjoyable experience and I reached out to the owner (Richard Michaelson) directly instead of posting a review here in hopes to turn my experience around. During my experience, I was lied to, treated unprofessionally by the Sales Mgr and ultimately drove off the lot in a "certified" vehicle that needed to be taken to a dealership so that the Navigation System could be replaced. When I shared w/the owner that I was told multiple times by the Sales Mgr that the dealership could either pay to replace the chip that was no longer in (or stolen from?) the vehicle or that he could reduce the price of the car by $386, Richard seemed surprised and embarrassed that I drove off the lot w/a vehicle that needed to go back to the service dept at my local dealership. All I wanted was a car that was fully functioning and the right price for the vehicle based on other cars w/similar miles. After talking to his staff about my experience, he basically said I was not telling the truth and did not feel I was owed the $386 and/or any reimbursement for the 2 visits I had to make to the dealership because his staff did not fully certify the car! I have purchased 7+ pre-owned vehicles over the past 30 years and I have never before been treated this poorly. Don't just read my review, read the others from August and December 2016 and decide for yourself if this is the type of dealership you want to do business with. read more

Absolutely the best car buying experience, ever. Isaiah Gutierrez is professional, friendly, courteous, and helpful. Mario Cuevas, in finance, is also wonderful. Kirk Wafa, the sales manager, is outstanding. There aren't enough words to describe how amazing they all are. Don't buy a Mazda or used car anywhere else!! I highly recommend this fabulous team!! Definitely ask for Isaiah!! read more

Wendy is probably the most patient service rep in all the land of car servicing. I was comparing prices for 2 new tires and a right side view mirror. Tustin mazda gave me a blanketed estimate and quoted an extra $60 per tire and $100 more than Riverside's quote for the mirror. Wendy, on the other hand, acquired the pertinent information and got back to me in a timely manner without ripping me off. I also witnessed another customer lose his shit and just dump on Wendy, the entire time she kept calm and respectful toward the man. It was pretty impressive. My only complaints are 1) I asked for the new tires to be installed in the back, and the back tires shifted to the front. They replaced the two tires in the front and ignored my request 2) I also requested them to refill the windshield wiper fluid in the back (because they failed to do so the two other times I came in for an oil change) but they ignored that too, which leads me to believe they are not performing a full circle inspection. But Wendy hooked it up with a rental car for the day so I wouldn't be stranded there for hours. *I added a star because the owner reached out and offered to rotate my tires at no cost and promised to have it done within 20 minutes. read more

I just bought my first Mazda today and I can honestly say that I had an incredible experience. Marcos, the sales associate, was so patient with my questions, he was honest, knowledgable and completely understanding. I was also lucky enough to work with Alex, the general manager. Overall I would recommend them to my friends and family and in the future I plan on returning to give them my business. Thank you both again for the amazing service you provided! read more

Awesome customer service! I came in to have window tint and fabric protection put on my new car and the wait time is several hours, as to be expected. But, one of the sales managers, Matthew, noticed me. He offered me a shuttle, but I live too far. He then got me a loaner for the day! What a great place to do business!! Thanks! read more

Greeted by Ricardo and had nothing other than a pleasant experience! Was in and out buying the car in less than an hour. Ricardo gave no hassle. I love this place and the personnel running it. I had an 7:40am apps. Got there at 7:30am. The guy was running late so they told me it would not be ready for 2 hours from 8:45am I was a little upset as I had appointments to go to. Shawn came up to me and said he would speed up process. I had oil change, tires rotated and maintenance due. I was so happy as it was done by 9:26am. I had coffee and a donut and they have computers you can use. Perfect trip to Dealership. I only use them and many times they don't even charge me. If you have time they even wash your car for free. LOVE THIS PLACE. Thank you to the Manager Shawn you made my day. read more

Got my brand new Mazda 3 iSport from Hash, Kyler and Ricardo... It was a first time for me leasing a car and it was definitely a learning experience. My father in law came and helped me out. My experience at Riverside Mazda has always been great! The attitude of everyone working here is one of respect towards all customers. They truly value and care about helping a person achieve one's purchasing or leasing goal within one's budget and circumstances. They listen. Doing business here is efficient and feels more like visiting friends who are happy to see you and prepared to help, rather than the feeling of "dealing with a dealer." They are not obnoxious or rude, as can be the case at some dealerships. Rather, the atmosphere is welcoming, friendly, professional, and helpful. I particularly want to thank Ricardo Ramirez, Anthony Sanchez, management and finance for their help in negotiating my recent purchase here. Everyone worked hard to make this purchase happen, and I am most appreciative and grateful. I would recommend Riverside Mazda to anyone looking for a great experience when purchasing or leasing a vehicle. read more

I never though of giving Mazda a chance but my co-worker recommended me and I gave it a try. To my surprise they had the best prices and best costumer service. My sales associate Ivan was awesome! really worked with me and I was able to get my Mazda 6 2014 I wanted with payments I could afford Yay! :) read more

These guys are awesome! Came in with negative equity and no down and they worked magic for us(once again!)! Needed a good lease for zero down, and this place seemed to give us the best lease option out of all the other dealerships. They seemed willing to work with us on getting what we needed. We worked with Matt and he was very helpful in listening to our needs. Ended up getting a Mazda 6 which is exactly the kind of roomy car that we were looking for, and better than the car options we had at some of the other dealerships. read more

My husband and i purchased a 2013 Speed3 here a couple of months ago.. at that time were somewhat satisfied with our experience. I drive A LOT! So not long after i needed to get an oil change, it took a total of 4 phone calls, an e-mail to mazda and about 5 days to get a returned call. I ended up taking my speed to the dealership in Redlands, they had my car done in 30 min. and i only had to make one phone call. I also needed to make an appt for my Int/Ext protection and i ended up making it for the END of november, and i live about 30 miles away... and they only will shuttle up to 7 miles (but have no problem following me home to pick up a check) So i'm dreading this. I don't have 5 hours to just hang out at a dealership that i dont even want to be in, in the first place. I just can't wait to get this over with and never return. read more

Sharp showroom and kind people. Purchased a CX-5, after going to look at and purchase a Honda. Both share the car lot, and the Mazda had features we liked. Although friendly, I don't think they know the all the features on our car. Was told it had satellite radio and smart key feature. We later found out it didn't have either (locked the key in on second day). I don't think they mislead us, but weren't aware of all things included and not included. I'd buy again, but make sure to read the details and make sure it has what we wanted it to have. Contacted them later, and the service manager and different sales person showed us how to work some features, and we are thankful for that. Emailed my concerns, and was told they'd call the next day and try to work out issues, but a month later we haven't heard from them. Good cars, nice people with good intentions, but read docs carefully, spend time in the car, and watch financial numbers closely. Have to wait years to pay this off before buying one that has all I'd like. read more

Always a pleasure came in before just to get information and overview of it all and was well informed without any pushing! hassle free !! They were confident in their car I even left and after reviewing so many other cars came back here like they said I would ! Nothing down and way under 300$ I came out with a 2015 mazda6 . Bet customer service hands down. Unlike Kia that place was nothing but rude and shady! Thank you to everyone at Mazda for making it an easy process . read more

Comfortable, no pressure car buying experience. Thanks to Jose H. They have very good coffee as well. Loving my 2018 Cx-9 Signature

My salesman was great, honest (for the most part), and kind. A fellow salesman (Ryan I think), was slimy, pushy, and a liar. He completely lied about the optional NSD paint seal. It IS OPTIONAL. He didn't mislead like most, he lied (accidentally disclosed by a sales manager) and for that reason, I won't return to their service department, and won't recommend them. Not to mention this guy was also partaking in MaryJane remedies after hours, while we were still there! Crazy. Unprofessional. I enjoy my car, but you may want to research and know your stuff before you come here. Finance guy was the best! Don't remember his name, but he was from Afghanistan. IF I ever went back (a big if), I would ask for him. Very honest, and personable. read more
