They usually have offerings on Groupon for savings, however, it's also easy to book online from their website and pay directly. Ian was our instructor and he did an excellent job. He was very patient with us and definitely knows his stuff! The lesson started with basic safety and then proceeded to technique. He helped my youngest out by letting her try several different bows to make sure she was comfortable. I was pretty rusty, but ended up hitting the bullseye a couple of times. They usually do a round where you blow up a balloon and try to pop it with the arrow, but they were out of balloons this time. As a result, Ian created a challenge for us where whoever hit the bullseye, or closest to it, would win a Riverside Archery sticker. Surprisingly enough, on the last round, I ended up victorious and the proud owner of the sticker! Yay! They have open lanes for practice at certain times of the day and you can rent the equipment from them as well. Awesome facility and super fun activity! Highly recommend Riverside Archery!

When customers are walking around the shop and clearly looking at products, the staff should be paying attention to them instead of spending time talking with friends who are visiting. On one of my visits, I actually intended to purchase my first bow here. However, after being left alone for over an hour without anyone checking to see if I needed assistance, I eventually decided to leave and purchase elsewhere. The layout of the shop also makes the lack of customer service more noticeable. Most of the bows are located behind the counters, which means customers have to directly ask an employee just to see or hold one. That becomes counterproductive when such a large shop is being staffed by only two or three people, especially when those employees are already busy or distracted. The shop has a great selection of products, which is why I continued giving it another chance. Unfortunately, after three separate visits, my experience has been fairly consistent. A great selection only goes so far if customers do not feel acknowledged or comfortable asking to see the equipment they are interested in purchasing. A little more attentiveness, engagement, and acknowledgment of customers would go a long way toward improving the overall experience.

I unintentionally shot a fourth arrow and two guys came charging at me from across the field yelling about how I am not following the rules and how I will get kicked out and even banned. Guys didnt even take the the time to introduce themselves they just began to chew me out about how its only suppose to be 3 arrows not 4 and how I am not allowed to standalone and just enjoy my day and how i am suppose to keep moving. Keep in mind there was noone behind me or infront of me.Not sure who they were but very highly unprofessional if they work there. I own a business and I wouldnt appreciate if my employees chewing someone out instead of educating the individual. What a shame because I was becoming a regular. One Sunday on our way back from church we stopped by Oranco because we knew it was open to the public on Sundays. We spoke with Mark and Al and they explained the process to become a member. They were very informative and nice. We started the process for membership and as perspective members we were invited to the Summer League Shoot. We had a lot of fun and all the club members we met were very nice and patient with me. It is a beautiful range and very well maintained.
