Pipeline Volleyball Club

My daughter has been with Pipeline Volleyball Club for the past five years, and from the very…read morebeginning, it has truly felt like family. From the directors to the administrators, coaches, and even the team families, Pipeline has consistently created an environment where players and families come first. What stands out most is how honest and generous the organization is. They are always willing to accommodate the unique needs of each family, which makes such a difference in a youth sports experience. Over the years, my daughter and I have been fortunate to build meaningful relationships that have grown into what feels like an extended family. The community at Pipeline is incredibly supportive; not just of athletic success, but of building genuine connections and closeness among players and families. The staff is dedicated and supportive both on and off the court, helping players grow not only as athletes but as individuals. When they say #AllIn, they truly mean it. Pipeline has become an important part of our village, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any family looking for a club that truly cares about their players.

The owner responds to every review pretending the business is something other than what it truly is. I get it, he wants to protect his profit machine. Maybe he should get better coaches, listen to parent concerns, and focus on the business rather than only being reactive when reviews are posted on Yelp. When complaints are raised to the admin, they are ignored, some parents were actually told they should just drop their kids off and not attend practices, that way they have nothing to see and complain about. In other words, "just pay us your money, drop your kid off and go away." This place is a joke! Update: to the owner: your admin team are very aware of the complaints raised by multiple parents on our team, including one other who posted here. I cannot speak for other reviewers as to whether they voiced concerns to admin before posting their own comments but I have spoken to a lot of parents on many teams and there are a lot of unhappy as well as some happy ones throughout. To simply pretend that issues don't exist, that complaints weren't raised and any negative review is fake says more about you as a businessman than anything else. You should be addressing the problems, not dismissing them.

The Draft Sports Complex - Inside

First time attending a two-day tournament at Draft Sports Complex, and overall, it was a solid…read moreexperience as a fan. Parking is $20 per car, and if you don't arrive early, be prepared to park far away--some fans parked blocks out and walked in. If you're carrying chairs, backpacks, or gear, this is one time where being "cheap" can cost you comfort. Trust me, closer parking is worth it. Entry is free for coaches and players, while spectators pay $10 per person. One important thing to note: parking and entry are cash only. For those who don't carry cash, there are two ATMs available--one outside and one just inside the entrance. Lines can get long for both parking and entry since everything is handled manually. With today's technology, it would be amazing to see parking and entry handled digitally with barcodes or mobile pay to keep things moving faster. Once inside, the facility is impressive with 12 courts, but finding where you're supposed to be can feel overwhelming at first. This is where good communication with your coach and GroupMe becomes essential--they'll guide you to the correct court quickly. Seating is limited, so bring your own chair. You won't know where your athlete will be playing from match to match. Some areas have small 3-tier bleachers, but they don't hold many fans. The good news is that family members can sit courtside on the designated bench while their athlete is playing, or you can set up your personal chair nearby. Weather matters here. This wasn't a summer tournament, so heat wasn't an issue, and there are huge fans throughout the complex. However, November brought cooler temperatures. On Day One, we unknowingly sat near what felt like an open window and dealt with a chilly breeze. Day Two, we were positioned near a wall--much better experience. Lesson learned: dress in layers and stay flexible. The facility posts "No Outside Food" signs, but there is a snack bar (cash only) inside. We also noticed fans ordering food delivery and eating outside. There's a food truck in the parking lot, but lines can be long. A smart strategy is to bring snacks, stash them in your car, and snack between games. Shout-out to the staff--they were friendly, helpful, and consistently kept the restrooms and common areas clean, which is always appreciated at a busy tournament venue. If you plan on taking photos or recording games, bring a battery pack. Electrical outlets are limited and mainly located near the entrance. If you grab food from the snack bar, there are picnic-style tables, but they fill up fast--especially when travel clubs claim them. All in all, Draft Sports Complex delivers a strong tournament experience. Come prepared, bring cash, arrive early, and plan ahead--and you'll have a great time supporting your athlete.

The community is also very supportive and everyone motivates each other to do better. We use Telegram, Zen Planner, and SugarWOD to communicate, schedule, and track progress. It's neat to see the leaderboard on the screens. CrownTown CrossFit makes working out fun as hell. The music they play is always really good too. I've been coming to this location for a while now and have to say that the condition of both of the saunas is pretty disgusting. My husband even jokes that I might catch ringworm. I heard one guy telling someone, "you know how I know they don't clean? This paper towel or wipe has been on the ground here every day this week." Twice now, I've noticed a really foul smell in the infrared sauna and it makes me think something is growing in there. The last time I tried to go in there, I didn't even make it 10 seconds before walking right back out. It's gross. This week, a lady had to point out a nail in the seat so the guy sitting next to her didn't get snagged up. Clearly nobody is going in and doing checks. Why aren't they doing daily cleanings and sanitization in there at the very least? The staff has always been super nice and friendly, in my experience. I've only gone to the smoothie bar once but the staff was great and the drink was amazing! When I'm coming in or leaving or even when I've had to ask questions a couple of times, I'm always met with a pleasant staff member. Just hope they start putting some regular sauna cleaning procedures in place.
