Not good. Do not sign any long term contract unless you feel 100% confident this is what you want…read more We initially did a try out with Coach Jessie. He told us to come at 5pm. We get there and see there are a bunch of little kids. We expressed to him that he doesn't want to train with kids much younger than him because it's just me not beneficial for him. The intensity level is so much lower. He said ok,come back at 6 then and you can train with the older kids. So we did that and my son absolutely loved it because he was challenged. I was actually looking for 1 on 1 training for my son. Coach Jessie only does group training.. I was hesitant and wanted to try out some other coaches first but my son really had a good experience with the older kids. I made the mistake of signing a contract. After signing this contract, within 2 weeks Jessie regrouped the kids. My son grouped with the younger kids, something we expressed to Jessie that we didn't want during the tryout. I was disappointed, my son was disappointed. I felt absolutely betrayed.. However, there were still a few kids his age and some of the younger kids were very skilled. So I was disappointed, but convinced myself that it might be okay. Then next week came and now those skilled kids are gone. My son, who is 11 , about to turn 12, is practicing with kids much younger than him. They are basically beginners. He is absolutely bored. The practice was a fraction of the intensity of what he was getting with his club so he was receiving absolutely zero benefits. I was very frustrated and after this session informed Jessie that I wanted to cancel after this month. Turns out, I cannot. I am locked in for 6 months. He acted surprised when I wanted to cancel. Throwing it back at me for not communicating my displeasure Yet, I did communicate. It is he who showed us one thing during tryouts, then completely changed things on us after we signed up. I expressed to him that my son needs help on the offensive end. He needs training on one on one skills. We are not getting this. What he is getting is similar to the training he already receives with his club . is Jessie's program bad? No. It really depends on your situation. If your kid is in AYSO, then this could be very beneficial to you. If your kid is in a club that has good coaches, then you will not gain much. However, every kid is different. Your child may be benefit. My advice is DO NOT sign any contract too soon. Make absolutely sure this is what you want. He will try to convince you he can help you. I will give him the benefit of the doubt and assume this is honest, BUT absolutely wait and see before signing that contract. I would absolutely not sign a long term contract. You don't want to make the mistake that I made and be stuck with 6 months of something you don't want. To be fair, after I asked to cancel, he offered to move my son back to the older group. However, he did throw it back at me for not communicating my unhappiness when I did communicate to him before we signed. He is the one who made the change on us after we signed the contract and ignored our communication to him about what we wanted, then acted surprised when I was unhappy.

My Skills have definitely improved and I feel more confident when I do get the Ball now. He got me not only playing better, but eating better, stronger and in better shape then when I showed up. I purchased the 'Elite' Package which was Definitely an Investment up front but it ended up being the best value for me and kept me dedicated. Thanks again Coach Jessie!

My son is the mini which has parents help. But it is fun. We can slowly let him have more independence has he begins to listen. The sessions are about 35 mins which has a warm, a skill, and a few games. Everything is geared towards the children. Soccer island has a theme each week. We maybe kicking down volcanos or avoiding speed bumps. This isn't like ayso. It is all about the kids, We have built so many positive relationships and soccer skills. Comining from a child development background I am super excited to see my son grow and learn each week. They make sure it is child and play based learning. There is no better way for a child to learn. I have had friends come and are amazed at the program and completely agree it is completely kid friendly and age appropriate.

I can't say enough good about the staff and atmosphere they create. They have great drills that are…read morecreative and engaging and that are also fun and spark the kids' imaginations. I have coached soccer and taught middle and elementary school and I think the coaches here and the program are excellent! My son to be 4 year old has been enrolled through 4 or 5 seasons and we're excited for the next one! All the coaches have been excellent, Coach Nick and Coach Val, and a huge shout out to Coach Dominic. Thank you all!

My kids started playing in AYSO 8 years ago when there were about 7. They've had incredible seasons…read morewith great coaches and long winning runs and then there's seasons where we end up with a new coach and a not-so-great team and those become the character building seasons. Those are just as important as the 10-0 seasons, if not more. AYSO is volunteer ran which is good to keep costs down but there are a lot of parents who do not understand this and avoid playing an active part in helping a season run smoothly. They're always in need of refs and team moms. I've been to other AYSO regions to watch nieces and nephews play and 37 is so much nicer. Believe me. Sure, you can try and join a club but that can be expensive and your kid has to make the cut. Weve done core, select, club, all of it and it's been a great experience. Would recommend

I think this region is good for 4U/5U and maybe 6U but not 7U and definitely not 8U. We've been…read morewith AYSO for 4 years now and it was fine in the beginning but once you get the hang of how they work, you will run away from here. There is favoritism among the board members. They pick their own teams and who is on their team, the choose who gets medals at the end of the season and who doesn't. They pick and choose what emails they respond to. This is 100% volunteer based league but 1-3 parents end up doing everything and you can't function with a team like that. I can't do team manager to assistant coach to referee. It's just not possible. This last season, there was 3-4 teams who came together to form 1 big team. They had kids join other teams during games and even had younger siblings join the higher teams if they were down players. It was crazy this last season. Super unfair in every single way you looked but AYSO turned a blind eye to it. My son wanted to try out for their "club" team and the team was formed at the end of May and I still haven't received a call if we're on the team. I'm assuming not since everyone has already been contacted and signed contracts, but they don't tell the people who don't make the team? Nice. Shows a great example of leadership and how that team will be ran. Run do not walk away from here! Try Empire or Legends.
