There's a decent amount if parking near & around the rink as it's in an industrial park...great for tournaments and not having to worry if you'll have a place to park or risk being towed. (Irvine!!) Snack bar is extensive which is great! Chips, drinks, gatorade, beer, salads, chicken tenders, etc. Seating area holds apx three dozen; tournaments get super packed and there's surprisingly a lot of kids that don't clean up which sucks for the staff. Pro-shop is upstairs and they have an amazing selection on both necessities as well as NHL licensed items & Etsy-esque hockey apparel. (Think glittery "Hockey Mom" tees, etc.) read more

I have been here a few times for roller hockey tournaments. This is kind of a no nonsense facility so don't expect a bunch fluff. 2 rinks, and a snack arise type restaurant with standard fare. I've been coming here for years, even learned to skate here once upon a time when it was Corona Inline before the Rinks bought it. Whether your an adult or a parent looking for a place to start your childs' hockey experience this is the place! It's a family owned business and it translates to the environment at the rink. Your usually not far from a helping hand, whether that be from Ben, a member of his staff, or a parent. This is a top notch rink. The locations isn't the best because it's kinda hard to find. They need to improve on the signage. But if you have GPS, you will get here. If you're a beginner, you won't enjoy playing here as these teams are stacked with ringers and ownership has a laissez faire attitude about it so long as the Check clears. My daughter had her birthday party here and it was wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly, the snackbar has great food, beer for adults, & the rink is a blast. What made us choose to have her party here instead of the actual skating rink is because you get the entire rink to yourself for 2 hours. When you have multiple younger kids, that makes it SO much easier. I hope they never change this because everyone who came loved this about the party and asked for more info on it. EDIT: I've gone to the rink way too many times at this point for them to just cancel stick time AFTER POSTING ON THEIR WEBSITE THAT THEY WOULD BE OPEN FOR STICK TIME THAT DAY. Friggin ridiculous. I can't believe the Ducks want their name associated with this place. Save your time AND your money. I love the facility, but the hockey time is limited. They open at 4 pm and Stick time is only 3 times a week. They normally cancel two of those sessions every week. Irvine is consistent with stick time (daily) unless there is something else going on there, which is pretty rare. The pro-shop opens late and it is run by some 3rd party vendor that doesn't accept the discount that you are supposed to receive with a Rinks membership. read more

This place is a decent hockey rink with a lot of good and average skaters. What I dont get is how come there are never any goalies at pick up? its what you expect a roller rink to be. Always a great workout for $5 to play pick up. Just wish I had the ability to play on a team. but single parents dont often get such luck... I wish it was easier to get to and that they had signs marking the route as anyone on their first couple of times there will get lost. When you are playing they randomly pipe in half of who knows how many songs and there is no rhyme or reason to it. I don't know about the hokey playing but they have open skate weekdays 2:30-4:30. For $5 you can wheel around for a couple hours including skate rental! It's no frills but for the price you can beat it for an afternoon activity with the kiddos. read more

Firstly, THIS IS OUT IN NOWHERE. While that isn't particularly the venue's fault, holy crap, and I'm not just talking nowhere=Corona, but once you get off the freeway, you go down side streets until it looks like you're about to enter a gated community. Signage to enter the parking lot is nil. It looks like you're at an industrial park. The venue itself is smaller than the 949 Hockey Club in Anaheim; there are two sport court rinks, but no platform to view them from, no room for bleachers, and no snack bar. The rink I was on had weird...stuff all over the floor. Like teeny clumps of dirt, or insulation, or like a cardboard box exploded into little bitty pieces. ALL OVER the floor. And then it would stick to your butt after you got up. Then, oh god, you get to the restrooms. The women's restroom has three stalls, that's it, and was constantly dirty. Toilet paper and soap were refilled when someone was notified, but the restroom remained dirty. The event I went to (sponsored by the OC Rollergirls) was top-notch in itself, but I thought the venue definitely brought some of the enjoyment down. read more

as a parent, if you have like little kids let them try the intro to skating or hockey because they will have fun for sure to see other kids on it, if not atleast let them try it. they have very good teachers, they are friendly and i have learn from other parents that some of their kids only started a week ago or 2 and was amazed how good they skates and play hockey now. the price are reasonable and its available tues and thurs, always check their website for more accurate sched. you dont have to sign up for something, as i was told that we can just come if we want to bring or child and pay $15 includes and hour with the skates/roller skates for an hour of fun with a teacher. read more

It's the perfect spot for Roller Derby...it's not fancy at all. The concession stand is not great, so eat before you go. The organization at the door depends on the event. Last night I went to see the Prison City Derby Dames, very unorganized to get in, but a fun night nonetheless. I'm not sure what other teams are playing hockey or skating there. I'm surprised at the low ratings. Perhaps that was because of the previous owner? Ben is the current owner and he is soooo easy to work with. He's great with both parents and kids. He emails back within 24hrs in my experience. If there is ever a problem or request, he has always been flexible. The program is reasonably priced and it's an overall good atmosphere for families. Ben sets up holiday events to keep things fun for the kids. The homeschool skating program is also very fun and relaxed. Parents can hang out in the cafe while their kids skate around. Cafe is decent enough. It's convenient to be able to order a pizza if your kid has a late game and they finish, "starving". Just order it 30 minutes ahead. read more

The reason Ben is easy to work with is because he's clueless. It's called burying his head in the sand, not dealing with reality, conflict avoidance. He has zero ability to have any sort of discussion. Regarding the "beginner" adult leagues, he has completely neglected to do his job. Ben has continually allowed the beginner leagues to be filled with intermediate level players who skate up and down the rink running up the scores. Even his own referees say it's ridiculous. Even the referees have had zero success with him. Ben is in it one reason, to make money. He is singlehandedly running the Corona Rinks into the ground. Hmmmmm.....just like the previous owner Ken. The Ducks should be embarrassed to be affiliated with these two-bit crooks. Just like the other reviews this place is dangerous and the referees are horrible. If you are a beginner be warned, THEY HAVE NO BEGINNER LEAGUE. Yes they say they do, but all that it is is a bunch of intermediate players showing off against the few poor true beginners that haven't been around long enough to know these people are liars. Every single season they promise there will be a TRUE beginner league and will actually enforce the rules, not letting people that are too good play. And every time the next season comes IT IS THE EXACT SAME THING. They just lie to get your $150 per season and an additional annual membership. Then you get to stand there and watch guys skate through your entire team and backhand top shelf it for eleven weeks. The referees will penalize your team if you say anything to them about anything, including someone taking cheap shots on you. I've seen 5-year-olds run lemonade stands better. Save your money, PROTECT YOUR HEALTH, and stay away from this place. read more

Just discovered yelp so im playing catch up and reviewing all my favorite (and not so favorite) places. Great place if you're a roller hockey player, adult leagues (when i was there) had plenty of players, teams and divisions (beginner to advanced) to choose from. 2 full size rinks is a definite plus and more than enough locker rooms to accommodate their large client-el. Staff is super friendly, minus a couple bad apples here and there which is to be expected with a business that has quite a few employee's. Location is very out of the way and difficult to find if its your first trip out there. League prices are what you would expect to pay (generally about 150/player per season and this depends on team size). Biggest issue when i played there was subpar reffing. Refs seem to be buddy buddy with rink regulars and their callings of the games reflect that at times. As far as players are concerned (adult league only), lots of guys out there playing simply to blow off steam so games can get a little choppy and rough based on that. I've played hockey since i was 8 (27 now) and i can say the advanced adult league is fairly competitive. Overall 4 out of 5 stars because of bad location, subpar reffing and hot some hot heads on the rink. Also, loses a star because the rink is Anaheim ducks affiliated (Go kings!) ; ). read more

They are inconsistent and when you ask for an explanation, they threaten to throw you out of the game. They expect respect, but give none in return. What makes it worse is the general manager doesn't care what his refs say to you, he only cares about your league fee. Been playing here since they moved from Anaheim. Overall the facility is in good shape. Most of the staff are nice as long as you dont point out any flaws or complain about anything, I mean anything. They just ignore you and walk away. The directors seem to have a problem being a director. They cannot keep the teams fair, meaning they allow players 2-4 skill levels up to play in the beginner leagues as well as other leagues. When you ask them to resolve the skill level issues, they just shrug and say they are checking into it, but they do not. So complaining for skill level fairness, which is your right since you pay to play there, is ignored and they label you as a problem player. The refs are another story. Most of them play there so that in itself causes fairness issues on the rink since they are "buddies" with a lot of players/regulars there. They definitely do not understand the meaning of no contact play, they allow way too much rough play and do not know how to control the game. Again, it is what we pay for and if you complain, the refs then make calls on you constantly due to some ego problem most of them seem to have. I have even seen the youth leagues(7-10 year olds) break out into fights due to their lack of ability to control a hockey game. If you ask the refs to explain a call, half the time they will just call you for unsportsmanlike conduct and put you in the penalty box. Enough about them, you get the picture. Unfortunately, teams quit a lot, and move to other rinks, causing leagues to shrink dramatically at times. They allow players to drink in the parking lot before and after games, as well as they allow them to drink in the facility as they just got their liquor license. It has created a lot of problems in the adult leagues with fighting. They are the only rink that most can play at and they know they are. So I am stuck playing at a facility such as this, since I love to play. It would be great if there was someone who you could talk with for complaints, but there does not seem to be. Lose a star for the directors. Lose 2 stars for the refs. read more

This place is awful. I have been inline skating since they became available. So decided to buy a Groupon and take my kids to see if they would enjoy it as much as I do. What a nightmare. First of all, I went online and checked the hours to make sure they were open. It stated....public skate 4-5:30. So we packed up and went. When we walked in, we were the only man ones there. Everything was fine. Then another family of 5 showed. Still fine. But at 20 min to 5:00, a whole slew of kids and their families showed up with all of there hockey gear as if to practice or play. A couple kids went out to skate with the "Public Skate" skaters....fully padded. Suddenly their mother walked...yes I said walked....across the center of the rink to put water in the penalty box for her kids practice. Next thing I know...there are 10 or so kids fully padded with helmets and sticks skating with the "Public Skaters". An employee walked by and I asked what was going on and was told they have practice at 5:00, when public skating was over. I informed him that their website said public skating ended at 5:30. His answer was ..."oh, sorry. It stops at 5:00. Needless to say, the customer service sucks, the website is wrong. There is no supervision from employees and not a car e in the world for the satisfaction of customers. If you aren't paying them big bucks to play hockey...they could careless about you. Sad that the Ducks put their name on this! read more

The most dangerous Open skate I have seen. There are no rules. Kids are allowed to skate in any direction. Almost colliding. A dad was allowed to carry his baby while skating. No one on staff was supervising. Kids were hanging from the hockey goal posts. Kids are allowed to use pvc pipe helpers which are extremely dangerous.
