Small & scrappy!
Julie L.

There's a decent amount if parking near & around the rink as it's in an industrial park...great for tournaments and not having to worry if you'll have a place to park or risk being towed. (Irvine!!) Snack bar is extensive which is great! Chips, drinks, gatorade, beer, salads, chicken tenders, etc. Seating area holds apx three dozen; tournaments get super packed and there's surprisingly a lot of kids that don't clean up which sucks for the staff. Pro-shop is upstairs and they have an amazing selection on both necessities as well as NHL licensed items & Etsy-esque hockey apparel. (Think glittery "Hockey Mom" tees, etc.)

This is a top notch rink. The locations isn't the best because it's kinda hard to find. They need to improve on the signage. But if you have GPS, you will get here. This rink has tons of easy parking , multiple rinks inside, a large snack bar area, and two story seating. They have roller hockey teams for all age groups. Check it out.

Awesome family run business, we now spend a lot of time here everyone who works here is always friendly. This is a place where kids can be actual kids and play, so don't be a Karen and complain that they're having a good time skating around and playing while your there watching...it's all for fun!

Ask the Community - The Rinks - Corona Inline

Is there air conditioning?

There is air conditioning. That being said, it can still get hot in the summer during tournaments when the building is packed and both rinks are going for 15+ hours a day.

We attended a birthday party here on a Sunday at 2pm. Wow, blast from the past for me to attend and…read moreso fun to teach my kids how to skate. The location is in a safe spot and the parking lot while not big is adequate for the amount of people that showed up for the party as well as general pop. The DJ kept giving shout outs to the birthday girl during the whole session and played music she had requested/enjoyed. I liked that they played a lot of 80s music, Michael Jackson, Forest Frank (for bday girl). No nasty or inappropriate songs/lyrics played which I appreciated sooooo much. They have both blades and 4wheel skates that can be rented. Now the place is dated but that's the vibe I'm looking for in a skating rink and if it keeps the prices down that is cool. So my only gripe is that they charge admission for non-skaters at the same price as skaters. I don't understand this, like if grandma wants to take grandkids to skate and she doesn't want to participate you're really charging her same price minus skate rental? I get that fire marshall puts a restriction on people capacity and maybe that's why they do this but honestly the business should consider making adults free or just a buck or two WITH a paid child admission and IF not skating as well. Food for thought.

It's $20 including skates, lasts one hour and you get to stay for the 2.5hr session following the class to practice what you learn. Such a great deal! A few things we didn't like: 1. They charge an additional $6 for walkers that kids can use while learning. But both times we've rented them people just take them if we leave them by our table to use the restroom or to try one lap without them. Staff mentioned it's a common "thing" for them to be taken, so they should just not charge for them- especially since kids get confident fast and don't need them for long. 2. The DJ played fun music but talked over it too much at times. 3. They charge full entry even if you're just going to watch your kids and aren't skating. Overall, we had a fun time, loved the instructors and the staff and would go back.

This is a long time coming review, haven't been to the rinks since maybe 2021. Loved their start up…read moreplan to see if your kids would like playing hockey. Once your child went through the program, they would get a certificate for hockey monkey for hockey equipment that had a picture of Perry and Getzlof on it. It wasn't just for a part of equipment but your full out equipment from head to toe's. Really impressed me with this move. What a way to support the sport and its future. Don't know if they still do this or not but it was a huge help to get us started. Well our kids were sadly part of the C19 era. We had one who was skating since he was nine till 14 and C19 unfortunately ruined this for us along with our youngest who just started skating around that time. Made the fun of hockey a strenuous task, trying to play hockey with masks on was a real annoyance along with practice and games being canceled but had to be done for safety at that time. However, besides that whole situation, there was never a time that we didn't love coming to the rinks with our boys. It was always a very fun experience. The staff was always hit or miss, the coaches on the ice were always pretty cool. Some retired players would show up and skate with the kids from time to time. The place was always well kept the bathrooms well they were bathrooms. Changing rooms well if you know hockey you understand what your hockey bag smells like lol. We can only hope they still keep growing the sport even though the rising prices of equipment is living the earth. Hope to get back there again with my youngest wanting to get back into playing.

They are right outside the rink so parking and walking over was super convenient. The parking has a limit of 90 minutes which is the same amount of time for one skating session so that worked out perfectly. There was also a parking lot nearby but I didn't wander over there. The inside of the facility is huge as well as the ice rink itself. I had registered online ahead of time, so I just had to give them my name at the check in counter. The rental skates are right next to the check in and u just told them my size. I should have gotten half a size smaller than my sneaker size for a snug fit. It's also better to wear thicker socks for a more comfortable wear since the skates can be quite stiff. There are benches to sit and change into the skates. Inside the rink there are benches and locker too (need two quarters). I left my shoes under the bench in the main lobby area and it was fine. One of the skates had wet shoelaces which I thought was weird, but other than that the skates were nice and clean. The inside of the rink area was quite cold so I'm glad I brought gloves. There were more people than I expected. (More than the website was showing how many people registered.) Despite the number of people, there was still a lot of space on the ice. The ice wasn't too bad, but I wish it was smoother. Over time, it got rougher from all the people skating. There were some tiny chips/dips in the ice too, which isn't very safe to skate over. Skating over them caused me to lose balance for a quick second. Thankfully no falls. I wish they would smooth it out at least once during the session. It's quite loud on the ice and hard to talk. The bench area was fine though.
