*This is a review from someone who just viewed the property* If you're looking for a rustic wedding venue, look no further - this place is great! It fits 150 people and is very DIY which is what I loved the most. We opted not to go with this venue as it's obviously an outdoor venue and our wedding will be in January 2026 so it could rained or we might have to rent heaters which would've put us past our budget. If you're planning on having yours during spring, the warmer months or even fall this is perfect! The owner is really nice and I love what they do - giving back to the community. There's two bathrooms on the property, one's an actual bathroom and the other is an outhouse, very Shrek/rustic vibes. There's also a small room for your bridal party to get ready, ample parking, and a bar area that comes with a bartender. As well as an assistant of sorts but not a planner, they'll just make sure everything is running smoothly, like parking, trash, ect so if you need a planner make sure you hire one! On their website they have a ton of suggested vendors so don't forget to look there. There's also an extremely friendly cat that lives on the property who can roam around during your festivities as well as koi fish and some chickens and a duck. read more

My husband and I had our wedding here back in August and continue to look back fondly on that day. On our first visit, we both knew immediately this was the place to have our reception (ceremony was at a church). Aaron was there and super friendly to talk to. He answered all our questions and later connected us with Hannah who helped address any answers or concerns during the planning process. The farm is beautiful and very easy to decorate around. It's especially pretty at night with the string lights. Many of our guests complimented us on the beauty of the venue. There were a few audio hiccups in the beginning that thankfully were managed by the DJ and didn't cause any big issues. We were nervous about the heat in the August and provided some paper fans for our guests but we got lucky and the weather didn't get too hot that day! We also loved how we could bring our own caterers. My fiance is thai and I'm filipino so it was really important for us to cater food from our respective cultures. Drinks wise, we were granted one signature cocktail and needed to bring all other beverages in a can. We wanted to provide more cocktail options so we went with TipTop canned cocktails (which were a hit)! Lastly, I love that they allow sparklers! It made for a memorable exit. If you're looking for a budget-friendly, DIY, beautiful space run by an amazing group of people (did I mention it's a nonprofit?) - I highly recommend checking this place out. Our wedding venue was a dream- beautiful, charming, and truly a hidden gem. We were especially drawn to the Riverbed being a nonprofit, knowing that the funds go toward maintaining the farm and supporting its programs. So many of our guests commented on how stunning the space was. The staff were friendly, and Hannah was consistently responsive to my questions (which was a huge help since I was planning the wedding from out of state). While we did experience some sound issues during the event, I was able to speak with the venue afterward and they were receptive to the feedback I gave. having our wedding celebration at riverbed farm was everything we imagined except... the audio... it was a much bigger issue than we anticipated. we were aware that there were sound restrictions due to the farm being in a neighborhood but we were told sound has never been an issue for all the events held there. my event was 3pm to 8pm on a Saturday- yet the volume was continously asked to be lowered throughout the evening. Even our speech could not be heard by many people and during our first dance you could not even hear a thing- we looked like we were rocking side to side to no music. I feel like the volume should be allowed to be adjusted at least for a couple minutes! The venue must truthfully disclose the audio challenges prior to the couples booking instead of sugarcoating it. People spend months to plan their most important party of their lives, and music is such an important part of the day. It really didn't feel right to be surprised like that. This venue would be best for bridal shower/baby shower or more of a sit down dinner type of wedding On the other hand, Hannah, Olivia and Stephen have been absolutely amazing and so helpful. Security on site (I didn't get the gentleman's name) was great. Hannah was so patient with me during the planning phase and responded to many of my emails while I was planning everything from out of town. Olivia was a gem day of the event and checked in on me many times. Overall, the farm is great for their mission is beutiful, the venue is right for anyone who wants to bring out their rustic DIY ideas come to life but not necessarily care for a dance party. read more

Such a dreamy garden to get lost in. Everything is in close proximately (great if you're wearing heals and lovely for family members who may have trouble getting around for photos). My husband and I recently got married here and loved everything about our day! When we toured the venue for the first time we instantly knew this was the venue for us. Everyone on the Riverbed team- especially Hannah, Aaron, and Ivan were so welcoming, helpful and kind! We had no issues with audio and were able to dance the night away with our guests. **This part of the review is mainly for the sound at the venue.** This evaluation is in regards to the reviews left by Deejay S. I am the BRIDE- in case that matters for this review. I agree with the DJ in the terms that the music and microphone was low. However, I want to specify that it was extremely low in the areas away from the dance floor. Everyone (with the exception of a few guests) who attended my wedding did state that they could not hear my toasts, what music the DJ was playing, and announcements that may have been said. (And in case the owner tries to show a nest video of our toasts- only the people in the front of us were able to hear them.) AGAIN- this is in the area away from the dance floor. Which frankly isn't even that far from it. I would like to point out that in the seating area there is only one speaker. And the other two speakers were on the dance floor facing away from the seating area. I felt this is important as Hannah (the person you'll mainly be in contact with) called after the wedding for input. I suggested showing the volume to potential future couples or putting another speaker (or two) in that seating area. I appreciated that they actually wanted input but it doesn't change the fact that I had to basically shout my own announcements at my own wedding. And that my guests and myself were able to hear the surrounding parties music louder than our own. I felt the need to leave this review because I felt that the owner was going the wrong way about it. The sound is not being portrayed correctly by the owner. Yes in the video it may SEEM loud. But those speakers are pointing towards that Nest camera. And of course people were dancing- there is no way that we wouldn't try to make the best out of the situation we were given. LASTLY, I would like to reiterate that this review was MAINLY FOR THE SOUND SYSTEM. This part of the review doesn't reflect my entire experience at the Riverbed Farm. ---If you are okay with the sound, then the Riverbed Farm is an absolutely beautiful place to get married. You can tell they take great care of the farm and have great pride in it. During my wedding planning, I was able to visit the farm multiple times (only during the week) to check out the venue. (Helpful Tip: this is through appointment only). I know I personally went a couple of times to make sure that my table decor would look the way I imagined it. Hannah is the person that I mainly communicated with in terms of all the wedding stuff. She was great and responded in a timely manner when I needed help, had questions, or needed something to get approved. I loved how the venue had different packages when it came to the tap truck (in terms of prices and what it entailed) because it provides multiple budget options that supports all types of wedding wallets! Everyone was in awe of how beautiful the location was. And a BONUS: it has 2 restrooms! Which is definitely needed for the 135 people I invited! My wedding was unfortunately on a very hot day- but the shades that the venue has really helped out. I recommend a Saturday wedding- as I was able to come Friday and do a ceremony rehearsal and move all the furniture ahead of time. I left three stars because it was a middle rating considering all that happened. Would have like to rate the positive side of the review a 5/5. My husband and I just got married here this past weekend, and I couldn't have been more happy with everything. From the staff to the ambiance everything was perfect. The farm itself is stunning and kept up so wonderful, the fish, cats, and couple birds really make the place unique. The effortless elegance of the venue makes it almost fairytale like, especially with all the beautiful overhead lighting. I have been in the industry for over 20 yrs and never have i DJ'd at a venue that requires the music and microphone volume to be so low. Everyone was upset. I arrived at 1pm, and the wedding ceremony started at 3pm . There was more than enough time to test the music and microphone and unfortunately there sound system is crap. My cellphone speakers were louder. If your planning on having a wedding reception here, please think twice. Yes the location is great and good views but thats about it. There's no such thing as too many questions because it helped our day run smoother. The day of I met Aaron and Regina and they were so sweet. We also loved Daniel too! I was recommended Renewable Farms through a friend that had visited the Aliso Viejo location. However, being an Anaheim local it only made sense to pick Riverbed Farm for our wedding 8/13/22. We setup an appointment to go view the location and instantly fell in love. The rustic look made decorating a breeze because the natural beauty of it meant I didn't have to do much. (Less is more) Here are my tips with working with the venue: 1) Bartender is provided. (I purchased a "bartender kit" from Amazon to help with pouring, measuring, and provided the tools the bartender needs since they don't provide that) 2) Canned drinks are allowed to just be handed off which can help save on cups 3) Music - be prepared to let your dj know they don't have control over volume or can use their own speakers. Because Of the residential area next door, volume can't exceed a certain level (This was something our dj struggled with. He ended up having to set up inside the bridal suite due to the heat messing his equipment which caused him to not be able to hear the music that much. He expressed that was frustrating but we still made the most of it.) 4) Jess was very communicative and answered all our questions & trust me I had a lot of them. 5) Rehearsal time was preset for us the day before from 2-6 which made it a little hard because people are still at work but we used the first hours to set up, then used last hour to do our walk through. 6) bring a speaker for rehearsal These are just a few things that we learned through our planning, overall had an amazing day, people couldn't stop talking about how lovely it was. Riverbed Farm is such a special wedding venue! We got married there a few weeks ago, and it was a perfect day. Even without adding anything, this place is gorgeous both during the day and at night. All of the staff that I met were so lovely and helpful, shoutout to our main contact Hannah! I love what they do here so it felt so nice to be able to also support their charity. Even though it is a DIY style venue, they provide many of the basics needed, but then allow you the flexibility of setting up how you like. I've seen photos of many different styles of weddings here, all unique but with a wholesome Riverbed Farm feel. The garden beds with different seasonal veggies, plants and flowers are so gorgeous. I cannot wait to see our golden hour photos! And then when the evening hits, the string lighting under the palm trees looks so beautiful. BUT the star of the show is Captain the resident cat! Overall I'm happy I had my wedding at this venue. But just like any wedding, of course there were some snags. Got married here on August 3, 2019. So I feel like I had more than enough time to reflect on what went wrong. But first--the good. This venue is great for DIY. We had the Kogi truck, a grazing table for cocktail hour, sprinkles cupcakes, sidecar doughnuts, and our wedding cake was from Susiecakes. I bought most of the decor and trays from hobby lobby. And I bought cups, plates, forks, and bar supplies from webstaurantstore.com. I also opted for this venue for what they contribute to the community. I set up most of the decor during the rehearsal, but my wedding coordinator Erin James (Good Times Event Planning) did such an amazing job trying to make the wedding as smooth and pretty as possible. She did not try to stress me out the day of the wedding at all. The communication with Aaron was so-so. We requested the cats be put away due to mine and my husbands allergies but the cats were roaming around the property the day of the wedding. Thankfully we were too busy running around and taking pictures to be around the cats. He also sometimes took days to reply back to me too. But I've heard other people who had their wedding there had a better experience with him. Definitely get your own bartenders. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. We opted to hire the bartenders that Aaron supplied and they were constantly interfering with the speakers. During our grand entrance the volume was so low I had no idea what was going on. Throughout the entire day and night they constantly kept turning the volume down. My DJ apologized to me at the end of the night and ended up staying slightly over to compensate. I later found out from a groomsman the staff that Aaron supplied were seen unplugging wires from the speakers without telling my DJ. They simply could have asked my DJ to turn the volume down. The "security" they had was also unprofessional. I did not know there would be any type of security at all. My uncle, a Japanese business man, who ONLY speaks Japanese was yelled at when he went outside the gate with a drink several times because he couldn't understand the "no booze outside the gates" sign. They were pretty aggressive and left a bad taste in my uncle's mouth. However, NOBODY spoke to me about it so I could handle it personally. I only found out after the wedding. I was so disappointed that staff did not tell me personally. Also I tripped walking down the aisle, so try to level the ground out! Thankfully my parents were there to catch me before I fell on my face. SO. EMBARRASSING. TLDR; cute venue for DIY wedding but hire your own staff if possible! read more

A tale of two halves with Riverbed Farm. A cautionary tale. My wife and I visited Riverbed Farm 8 months before our wedding and were stunned by how beautiful it was. We had a great mini tour of the venue, as well as a nice conversation with the owner. He walked us through the venue, things to know, and we walked away choosing Riverbed as our wedding venue. Little did we know that things weren't what they seemed and many of our bigger problems came out a week before and/or the day of our wedding. READ THE CONTRACT CAREFULLY, AND ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BOOKING. This place has very specific rules (some of which aren't even listed anywhere in their contract) and these petty rules and stipulations came back to really bite us in the ass when all was said and done. 1. Bartender - Riverbed forces you to use their "supplied bartender". This wasn't made apparent when we first visited Riverbed for the tour, and is somewhat hidden and weirdly worded in their contract. In one instance, it says that alcohol "is served by Riverbed Staff" and in another, also says that "you (meaning us), must have a designated bartender). We tried to bring our own certified bartender and were promptly denied. The "supplied bartender" felt more like a "personal friend" of the staff than an actual bartender and was horrible. 2. Drinks - Riverbed only allows you to have 1 cocktail. And regardless of what your cocktail is, there is to be no diverting from that cocktail in any way. We had a simple Bourbon and Coke. We had multiple people come up to us during and after the event, telling us that they had asked if they could either A) Have a glass of Bourbon simply without the coke, B) with less coke, or C) with no ice....And they were met with resistance from the bartender. 3. Sound, DJ, Music - BY FAR THE BIGGEST ISSUE OF THE EVENT. We had our wedding on a rainy day and had open tents to help keep guests dry for the event, but also open to help with any sound/music. Riverbed contract states that DJs are not allowed to bring in their own equipment. We were initially OK with this, as Aaron had stated that point during our tour, and stated that their sound system "works well" and has no issues. Riverbed also has a line in their contract (very vague), that simply states "Renewable Farms reserves the right to control the volume at any time". Now typically, you would think "ok, this means that if it's getting close to 10pm at night, or if the DJ is getting too rowdy, Riverbed can ask to turn the volume down slightly or to calm things down as the event comes to an end..." BOY WERE WE DEAD WRONG IN ASSUMING THAT. Our wedding day arrives, and our coordinator informs me that Riverbed had made it clear to our DJ that he couldn't turn the volume up above the level they (Riverbed) wants it at. Our DJ and coordinator inquired as to why, and were met with vague answers and timid responses about how "the volume couldn't exceed a certain level"....It was 4pm, Saturday, during a rainy day. We couldn't hear anything the entire event. Couldn't hear first dances, couldn't hear speeches. Couldn't hear announcements. Unless you were in a very specific spot on the venue (where they had speakers), you couldn't hear anything. We had 30 guests during/after the event ask us about the sound levels. We wrote Aaron about this issue after the wedding, and gave him a chance to make things right. He answered 4 days later, explaining that the rain and tents were at fault, and included "video footage" from a camera (that was right next to one rogue speaker they had outside), that showed volume was at an "acceptable level". And he also stated that "they are not permitted to have music above a certain level in the dinner area because of a small residential area located near the venue, and "loud music" is reserved only for the dance floor. Fun fact - The dance floor is literally 10-15 ft away from the dinner area. Apparently that 10 ft of open space acts as some kind of MEGA SOUND BARRIER, unbeknownst to man. lol. Quiet Hours for Anaheim's ordinance are between 10pm-7am. Their "residential" excuse is invalid. If we can't hear anything, pretty sure the houses behind us can't either. 4. Rain - This venue (aside from taking down lights), wanted nothing to do with helping us with our rain situation. We found a company that came through for us, and after the event, we heard staff at Riverbed tell our tent company that "the owner was very impressed" and wanted their card for future events. We had to figure everything out for ourselves, only to see Riverbed try to pony off our hard work. We ended up making the best out of a horrible situation. Beautiful venue. Very questionable management. Funny enough, this is the watered down version due to Yelp's max character count length for reviews. Our DJ and Coordinator both told us they would never return to this venue. READ THE CONTRACT CLOSELY, AND READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE MAKING ANY DECISIONS ON CHOOSING RIVERBED AS YOUR VENUE. read more

My son finished his school's community service hours here last week, and we thought that working in this little farm was a very relaxing and fun experience! Located in the middle of Anaheim, the Riverbed is a sustainable urban farm. By renting out their lovely venue, selling organic vegetables and fish to local businesses, and having workshops, the farm is able to donate lots of food to the shelters and families in the area! The Riverbed Farm is also a wonderful way of educating those in the community to the benefits of a full functioning sustainable farm. Aaron (who runs this renewable farm) discusses how the farm works and what things need to be done on a daily basis to keep this great farm working. This property is small but beautiful! I didn't realize that they did weddings and other events here! Since most of the money goes towards feeding deserving families in Anaheim, it makes getting married at the Riverbed even more worth while! The photos of these early evening weddings are amazing! For a rewarding, educational experience or renting the venue for a fun event, we would not hesitate to have it at the Riverbed Farm! read more

My wife and I were married here last weekend on 5/30/21. The venue is beautiful but we had a terrible experience dealing with the management. We were patient throughout because we support their cause but nonetheless Aaron was very difficult to work with. There was a clear lack of communication and responsiveness. They would not let us know until a month out if we would be able to have the wedding or not. They would not agree to let us postpone, either. Therefore, we were only able to send our invitations a month out. We understand there were city guidelines to adhere to but it put us and our guests, many of who do not live nearby, in a stressful situation. When initially booking, we were told we could set up the day before the wedding as long as there were no events on that day. Aaron was continually dodgy about this as we neared the event and we still do not know if there even was an event the day prior. He simply told us it wouldn't be possible to set up the day prior. We directly asked if there was an event but we still never received confirmation. We had initially been told we could leave vehicles in the parking lot overnight. Once the event was over, we were told this was actually not the case. We are fortunate we had a sober person in our clean-up group that could drive, otherwise they were having no problem with forcing us into a potentially dangerous situation. We received a half-hearted apology about this the next day. Aaron didn't realize it was a holiday the next day and that his own farm would be closed.... We made it a great event despite all the difficulties but I could not recommend this place to anybody. I know this review is harsh but I feel obligated to share so other people are aware of what they could be paying for and dealing with. read more

We always wanted a smaller, intimate wedding, and Riverbed was the perfect setting to bring our vision to life. We recently got married on 12/07/24, and the night was perfect. Riverbed is naturally a very nice place, it does not need much decor. We decided to keep the decor minimal, and we are so glad we did! The venue truly shines best when left to its own potential. Riverbed is flexible with food options, they allow you to book your own catering. We booked the tap truck and it was a hit with our guests! - I attended a wedding here in February 2023 as a member of the bridal party. Despite there being a downpour of rain, the venue was beautiful and the couple seemed happy even though they had to deal with A LOT of issues that could have been prevented by Riverbed. I felt so bad for the couple. First of all, the sound system was TERRIBLE. No one could hear the speeches or music. I know how much time the couple spent to choose songs for special moments throughout the wedding, including the father/daughter dance, and NOTHING could be heard. There was no dancing because no one could hear ANYTHING! Come to find out, it was because Riverbed has some weird noise rule in place that says music can't be too loud. Here's the thing, it was 9:00 on a Saturday with torrential rain. If the guests couldn't hear anything, how could anyone in neighboring houses that were farther away hear anything? Also, we were told as guests that at around 9:30, we were too loud. There was no music at this point, which means the Riverbed staff was telling us that our conversational talking was too loud. Secondly, the bathroom situation was not ideal, especially during the rain. Even though there was Riverbed staff on site, no one seemed to try to clean the bathroom or try to spruce it up. During the wedding, the main bathroom was filled of water and it smelled like a sewer. There was a point where the bathroom even ran out of toilet paper and no one ever refilled it. Third, after talking to the bride, I found out that the Riverbed staff did very little to help with coordinating the wedding and helping them plan for the expected rainfall. She said that her husband and her were expected to go measure the place themselves to figure out where tenting could go. Fourth, during rehearsal the bridal party saw that a huge puddle was forming near the main entrance where people walk through due to the rain. The Riverbed staff did absolutely NOTHING to help with this. The bridal party saw it as a safety hazard, as guests would have to walk through the giant puddle to get into the venue, and possible slipping if they had to do so. The groomsmen were the ones that had to find boards at Home Depot to make a makeshift bridge so guests would be safe and comfortable. Lastly, the day after the wedding, the couple was expected to clean up the venue. They were asked to move all the benches and tables back. However, the person that was supposed to open up the venue was late in the morning. No call to warn the couple that she was going to be late. This looked terrible on the couple especially since their vendors were there to pick up their materials too. They were so embarrassed. Furthermore, there seemed to be no clear understanding as to how the tables were supposed to be laid out. The couple had a picture of how they were before they had to move them for the wedding. However, as we were moving the tables back according to the picture, the worker there said that it was wrong. Overall, if I were planning a wedding, I would not choose to have my wedding at this venue. Even though it's very DIY and cheaper, you will be super stressed and will have no sound at your wedding. read more

It was first time attending a wedding at a farm, and I have to say it was one of the best times I have ever had at one! Riverbed Farm is not a huge area by comparison with farms out on the countryside, but the space they occupy is well laid out for special events. A small area where a bar was set up, covered patio area where food was located, large communal picnic tables, and trees offering some shade. While we were here there was a brutal heat wave going on, so some tents were brought in to offer protection from the brutal sun. Even with the heat it was not too bad as the wedding was scheduled for late in the day, there was a breeze, and as the sun went down it became comfortable. You're allowed to walk the grounds and check out what they are growing. They have a dance floor and area to play games like cornhole. Only drawback is the bathroom which is basically an outhouse with no AC. Yeah, it got swampy hot in there. It was clean, but infested with ants which got worse as the sun went down. As a dude it wasn't too much of a problem, but for the ladies it was another story. Overall, it's a cool spot to hold an event or gathering. read more

I met Aaron about a year ago when I was trying to find a wedding venue. I am so grateful that I did! Not only this place so adorable what he does for the Anaheim community is just simply amazing. We had our wedding on 09-08-18 and it was simply magical. He had updated a few things on the farm since we booked and it made it that much more perfect. It was such a cozy vibe and I felt like I had traveled outside of Anaheim. The price is right for what he offers. There are a few rules being that it's in a residential area but I didn't find it difficult to abide by. He was very friendly and more than accommodating. His venue allowed me to be able to create my vision of how I wanted my wedding. The only thing I'm sad about is that my wedding is over. After many tries of venue searching in summer 2019, my (then) fiancé and I were kind of overwhelmed. We just couldn't seem to be in "love at first sight" with other venues. However, as soon as we stepped foot into Riverbed Farm - we knew IMMEDIATELY that we wanted to have our wedding there. We were willing to even wait until the next soonest date (1 year later - 2020)! Aaron and the staff helped so much with their patience and quick responses to every single question I asked throughout time during our wedding planning. Their venue guidelines were so convenient and not complicated (compared to other venues we looked at). Their package is INCREDIBLY reasonable, especially with all they include. All of our guests were very complimentive of the venue/farm. It is so gorgeous, with and without decors. We really loved the fact that all proceeds helped towards giving back to the Community and others. What a huge heart they have for others in need. You will NOT regret the Farm! I recently attended a wedding here and I have to say I was blown away by how beautiful it was! The farm is not large, by any means, but they are so resourceful with the space that it never felt cramped. The ceremony area was covered by tents due to the 95 degree temps outside. The food had its own area. And there was a small bar when you first walked in, ready to serve up drinks before the ceremony. In-between the ceremony and reception, you can walk around the farm to see everything they grow here. The dancefloor is tiny but worked for the group. My one issue was the bathroom. As clean as it was a majority of the time we were there, the ants came out at night and absolutely infested the toilet, making the ladies have to wait until the afterparty to take care of business. Also it gets extremely hot in there while the sun is out. I would definitely come here during normal operating hours just to check it out some more. read more

My husband and I got married at the Riverbed Farm in August 2017 and it was the most wonderful day! We loved working with Aaron and seeing all of the improvements and additions that he made along the way. Aaron was very easy to communicate with and made the planning process enjoyable. He was super accommodating and let us visit the farm a few times to allow us to create our dream wedding. Two of the main reasons why we loved this venue was how peaceful and intimate it felt and that we would be helping the local community. The day of our wedding was absolutely wonderful and exactly what we envisioned for our wedding day. The riverbed farm truly is an amazing wedding venue!!! It seriously brought all of our dreams to life. It was affordable and fit perfectly into our budget. It gave us the backyard intimate feel we wanted while still being absolutely gorgeous and fitting all our our friends and family. Everyone who worked there was sooo helpful and friendly and Aaron does such an amazing job at running the place. They also have so many recommendations for vendors to use which was so helpful. The one thing my husband asked for was that we had his favorite fast food place cater which was perfect cause we had the Miguel's jr food truck come and everyone loved it. This venue is so beautiful you really don't have to bring too much decor in. Our wedding was nov 9 and the weather was absolutely perfect in Anaheim. A magical, outdoor, rustic garden with the sound of water (fish ponds) and trees blowing in the breeze created the most perfect space for my sons wedding. One of the farm cats walked across the altar area just as the bride was approaching, so charming. Everyone we worked with (Aaron, Jess, and Ivan) were absolute delights helping to make the wedding a success. When the sun went down, the entire place is draped in lights to create a gorgeous, romantic setting.There are long picnic tables which we set with runners and many candles in hurricane glass to protect from the breeze. Be sure to have your flower girl throw REAL rose petals or you'll need to pick up every one after the event. There is one really nice bathroom, but I rented a 2-stall additional one for our party of 120. The price is reasonable and they use the money to pay for the land and maintain the non-profit farm. I got married here April 2017 and LOVED the experience. Working with Aaron is really easy. The Riverbed staff communicate openly and are so calm and relaxed despite my family and my stress in all the planning. This venue was not only in our budget but very beautiful and so fun! We had about 150 people at our wedding and it was such a great time. There was enough parking and space for everyone to hang out in. Also, it's main purpose is educating the community about farming and giving fresh food to people in need. Who doesn't want to throw a party that gives back to the community? The only "bummers" are the venue may be difficult to find at first if there are not signs out showing which alley to turn into and when I got married, the dance floor was too small but it looks like the venue has even more space now and a bigger dance floor so that's really great! Also, you cannot have fire in the venue for candles and things but it was not a big deal at all - we did sparklers in the alley and the experience as well as the pictures are AMAZING. I can't think of anything else that could maybe turn someone away from visiting here because this venue was the perfect place for me and my husband to tie the knot and celebrate with all our family and friends. read more

My husband and I got married at the Riverbed on 3/7/20 and it was beautiful! The minute we saw the venue - we knew it was the one! We had seen a lot of halls/ballrooms, but they all looked the same. The Riverbed was so unique and we also loved the fact that our money was going towards a good cause/back to the community. We had minimal decor/florals and the venue still looked SO beautiful on our wedding day! Our photos came out GORGEOUS because of the lush greenery and overall esthetic. A few helpful tips if you end up booking: With an outdoor venue, there is always a risk for cold weather/wind/rain, so definitely prepare for that. Since it's not a "typical" venue there are some small details that can easily get overlooked, so it's very helpful to hire an experienced coordinator and professional waitstaff. read more
