03/21/2021. Highly recommend Mr. Sang from River Trinity Plumbing. I've never written a review more deserving of a 5-star rating! I'd gladly give higher than a 5 star if possible! Our shower stand had a broken copper pipe (inside & behind the shower wall slab) that resulted in turning off all our water supply in the home. We had been without water for 10 days, but unfortunately, this occurred around the time of the winter storm that devastated Houston area, so most plumbers were all booked. We consulted with at least half a dozen plumbing companies and they all were too busy to fix our issue. Several plumbers promised to swing by but never showed up, saying they're caught up with other jobs. After some correspondence with Mr. Sang and sending him pictures of the damage, he provided a prelim diagnosis and said he'd come by for a visit and quote. True to his words, he actually showed up after 9pm on a Sunday, looked at the issue, actually started to worked on it, and gave us running water an hour later! It was unbelievable and we're extremely grateful. Mr Sang was highly professional, diligent, and expressed genuine concern for our wellbeing. We had a tub filler leak under our tub where we could not see it. unfortunately we are unsure how long it was leaking but Sang and River Trinity Plumbing came and not onloy discovered the issue, but they guided us through the insurance claim process. He worked with our insurance to get our plumbing issue fixed. Durning the demo process he brought in an air scrubber which made the demo process with virtually no dust!! I've lived in homes with hard water before. But none were as bad as my current home. Sang installed a carbon filter and water softener system. The water is soft. I've got suds. I had been working on replacing our old moen kitchen faucet with a new delta and hit an obstacle I could not do myself. I could not detach the old faucet out of there with everything I had even a hollow socket wrench. The base rings underneath the cabinet had rusted and looks like whoever installed it used some type of adhesive and filler. It was driving me nuts. We live in the Wildwood community and Sang (River Trinity) came highly recommended so my wife and I contacted them. He sent a tech out to our house to assess the situation and indeed the tech said it was a "unique situation" someone had installed the old one that way. It was not a normal set up trust me. They figured it out and managed to detach the old one and install our new Delta and now works perfect! I could not believe that guy pulled that off I wanted to give him a hug. Sang showed up a few days later to check the work and was very nice and professional. We even stop and chatted about other things for awhile and he is a cool guy. I would totally use these guys for any plumbing situation from here on out. If you need an excellent, reasonable plumber, Sang is your man. Don't bother with the big overpriced corporate plumbers. Sang takes GREAT PRIDE in doing a quality job, with quality materials. He came out to quote a water heater job, the same day and did everything he promised, plus included upgraded materials above what the big companies were going to use. He also corrected all the mistakes the "certified installers" our Home Warranty (Cinch/Total Protect) sent to install the old water heater 7 years ago (cancelled that plan)! It was refreshing to find a repairman these days, who takes pride in his work as much as Sang demonstrated while replacing our water heater. Superb service. Mr.Sang looked at multiple options to resolve my plumbing problem. He asked to try everything possible before doing any cuts or opening any pipes. Even when nothing worked, he took a very conservative approach before cutting into the pipes. His approach took twice as long than what he estimated and a lot more equipment. He spent lot of time making sure all the pipes were clear and seals were completely closed before wrapping up the job. Another problem popped up with my fridge days later. He walked me through different options to try and was able to resolve the problem without coming by and at NO CHARGE. Definitely will reuse and highly recommend. read more

Referred to Mr. Sang by a contractor. Each communication attempt I made on the following chain of events occurred a week or more apart: 1. Was able to reach him on the phone. Described the issues (nothing complicated) that I was hoping he could address. He instructed me that he was busy but that his schedule was opening up some, and to go the web page and fill out my vitals. I did so. 2. Eventually received an email response that he prefers to use his cell phone. I honored his request and tried the phone, texting him. No response. 3. I doubled back to the website and re-entered a second message on the site's messaging page...to get back to me when he could to schedule a time. No response. 4. There are times in life when you come upon a company that truly values the customer experience, and Mr Sang of River Trinity Plumbing went above & beyond. I saw the reviews and decided to give him a call. I had, potentially, two issues- he answered the phone, but immediately explained he was involved in a very stressful family situation with his father's health. But, he listened and told me what he could have his tech, Stefan, do or what I might have to have someone else do. The more urgent one my septic company could take care of fairly easily, but the other one really did not need immediate attention, but he asked for pictures and what was needed. Within a day, he gave me a fair and reasonable quote, then had Stefan out here to address my problem. When it turned out to not be as difficult as expected, he discounted his quote!!! All this while traveling to take care of his father and family. He is on my list as an A+ and must call when needing help with plumbing services, which I do have a couple of other needs! Sang Tran is a master plumber and it showed, very professional. Thoroughly explained what needed to done to repair my frozen back flow preventer on my residence and rent house. His rates were very reasonable, I checked around, some were double what he charged me. He also showed me how to prevent future freeze-ups by opening the two vents on the back flow preventer in fall so if we have freezing temperatures that ice has somewhere to go and not destroy the back flow preventer, need to close vents in the spring. All information he volunteered to save me money the future. Hard to find this kind of contractor, I highly recommend him. read more

In short, Sang is honest and thorough! I thought I had a minor kitchen sink clog, but come to find out I had a clog in the main line. Sang took his time to identify the problem and he was diligent in getting the clog cleared. I never got the sense that he was trying to rush the job and he explained the process as he was doing it.
