Had to drive around twice, because I missed the entrance driveway going down. The signage isn't as clear as it could be to out of towners like me. Once inside, found place near the elevator. When you leave, you pay downstairs in the mall. Keep your receipts because you can get a discount on the parking rate. The cashiers are fast, but the lady who helped us could have put effort into a smile. I know this is a repetitive job and you probably hear the same stuff over and over, but hey...I'm not from your neck of the woods. Make a nice lasting impression and I will be back. read more

I went to a movie at AMC theaters in the mall, we don't come to Spokane often and even less often to the movies in Spokane. Neither my husband or I saw any signs to pay inside, when we went to leave the parking area we were unable to as we had not paid inside. The parking attendant was very rude, the first thing he said was that there were 50 signs for us to pay inside so we had to go inside and pay for parking. We had asked to speak to his supervisor and he couldn't remember how to get a hold of him. The security there were also very rude! I WILL NOT COME BACK!! I would give the parking negative stars but unfortunately it won't let me. The AMC theaters were awesome but thanks to the rude parking attendant I will not spend any money at this place. read more

When I was first in Spokane I really wanted to make a point to come here since the outside of the shopping center looked huge! On my recent trip I got a chance to explore the shopping center and it is not as impressive as it seems. The top floor is only for customers paying to see a movie so that knocks out one floor, the third floor has the ticketing counter and a few shops, the second floor is the food court and the first floor contains shops. The corridors are not long and spacious to house many shops on any of the floors. I do need to remind myself though that the Square is not exclusive to just the inside part of the shopping center but outside of it where there are nicer stores and fine dining. On the inside it is a mix of what I would think to be shop owners that are mom and pop and corporate retail chains. There are still a few big box retailers attached like Nordstrom and Jc Penny as well. read more

A very boring mall .just like any other mall in america with the same tiresome shops way overpriced.

Best shopping center in Spokane by far. There are stores for every type of person from young to old. Also the architecture is gorgeous. They went with an outdoor theme. There are lampposts inside and large escalators. Riding up the escalator and looking out over the atrium is one of the best urban views of the city. Also make sure to stop by in December to see the largest indoor Christmas tree in the town. If you want to see a movie the AMC Theater located on the 3rd floor is the best large movie theater in town. Also, this shopping center is soon to have an Urban Outfitters! read more

For a "high end" mall, this place is disappointing. I guess I got spoiled living in Vegas. The only decent store here is Nordstrom but even this particular location isn't great when it comes to its employees and selection. Oh and the Sephora isn't too bad. read more

Nice mall, has 3 accessible levels of shopping with a movie theatre on the third floor. I just didn't care for the paying to park part, but I did get there after 5pm, so it was only $3 Luckily, I did some research before coming to this mall and found out that some participating retailers in the mall would validate $1 off your parking if you spend over $20 at their store. The at&t in this mall is horrible. I bought some JBL headphones from them and they popped and crackled in my ears so i returned them and it took them almost 2 monthes to get me a refund check and it took a day for the bank to proccess it i dont like this at&t and i dont recomend going to it or any at&t for that matter. River park square should put the gamestop back in and remove that horrible at&t. read more

It's a pretty nice mall. I've only been a few times and mostly to eat. They have your usual mall stores, Gap, Nordstrom's, Bath and Body, you know, nothing super special, but nice place in downtown Spokane. read more

I'm not much of a shopper, but this mall does have a nice variety of high-end and specialty stores. The architecture is beautiful. I've just started to take my son to the children's museum on the lower level (Mobius). It's a great place for kids. We've eaten at the Sawtooth Grill a few times and really enjoy it. The food is fresh tasting and is unique. I highly recommend the buffalo burger. It's very delicate in taste and doesn't leave you feeling like you wished you wore your stretch pants :) My only complaint about this place is that the parking cashiers have been a bit rude on several occassions. It doesn't seem like many of the stores validate for parking, so expect to pay around $1 per 30min. read more

Being from the west-side, I've been to some huge/nice malls. This one is acceptable but no Bellevue Square. Personally, I only like a couple of the stores, the food court is hit and miss, and the parking garage is mind boggling. read more

Went to AMC and watched "Silence" which is almost 3 hours but well worth the watch. Set during 1600s in Japan, it is loaded with torture of Christians & Priests. Very informative about Buddhist tactics to make Christians & Priests denounce faith. read more

I really like River Park Square. My husband, daughter, and I will go during a weekend and get something to eat downtown or just simply walk around and take a look at the scenery downtown. The stores inside the center are pricey but a nice high end selection of chain and mom & pop shops. I like the selection of children's stores here and is my main go to shopping spot if my daughter needs any clothing. read more

Although very cute and attractive, I was not impressed with this high upscale shopping area. It is located in the up and coming central area of Spokane. It just didn't have enough stores to interest my desire to ever go back. The market store on the second floor was my favorite, as it was unique and had a lot to offer, but nothing else sparked my interest. This isn't the place to go to just wander around aimlessly, like most malls. This is a place to go when you have a set goal in mind: "I NEED a baby gift for my neighbor," "I'm dying for a new handbag and the Melting Pot is across the skywalk!" "I need to stop at the Apple Store and then maybe we'll grab some lunch," etc. Most of the shops in RPS are expensive, but not all of them. Typical Nordstroms and nice boutiques mixed with hipster/preppy clothing stores and some local shops, too. However, like previous commenters mentioned, Macy's, especially, has awesome sales and their staff is super friendly, even if their store is a cluttered mess that doesn't really fit into an upscale shopping center atmosphere. read more

Im writing this again here.. Because I am new to the area and dont know what Macys it was.. I'm pretty sure it was here.. Over all friendly employees. I know its busy time time of year. The only thing I was really upset about is the ladies at the Benefit Makeup Counter. Well one lady. It was a busy day but when I got up to the counter the employee simply ignored me and started to talk to someone behind me. And me being me said aloud : "Wow how rude, I was here first and you ignored me There goes your commission B****." and walked away. Really made me mad.. All the other counters were helpful the friendly even if they were with other costumers. They at least addressed me. It just upsets me to think maybe this employee would see me as not a buying costumer because I have pinup/rocker style.. I'm sorry but retail 101..Dont judge a book by its cover. I happen to spend a lot on my makeup and I graduated top of my class in college.. So thanks for that.. Anyways sorry that was kind of a rantt pretty lady style. Anyways other than that it was great. Parking was horrendous and terrible. We parked away from the mall in a parking structure it took us 15 minutes to find out how to get out of the building. The mall is small three stories but not a lot of shops. Very expensive and high end, in the end I would go somewhere else. I would not return here anytime soon. read more

It's been 24 hours since this incident and I'm still upset so decided to write a review. Last evening 12/14/14 (Sunday) a group of us waited in line 45 minutes to see Santa. There were many families behind us that had been waiting 30 minutes or more with their children, trying to keep them occupied until their turn came up . At 6:00 pm is was announced to all of us that the Paws & Claus dog photo shoot was scheduled between 6-7 pm and we would have to wait. Okay folks, try explaining that to your child or grandchild that after being good, standing in line to see Santa, you will have to come back!! Schedule Fido's visit during the week, not on weekends when this is the only time parents can get into town with their children. Kids should be first during this time of year to see Santa.....dogs can wait! read more

May 11th I lost my wallet at the STCU bank. I was soooo worried I would never find it. I went to STCU to see if they had seen it they had said" No, but if we had anything we would send it straight to the RPS security for the lost and found. So I found a mall security in the Kress Gallery. I told him my situation and he took time out of his day to help me. I don't remember his name but I wish I did. He called to base to see if anything had shown up. There was nothing. Then he took me down three stories to ask the concierge desk just to ask them if they had any wallets turned in. Again a no. And then he personally went to base to double check if the wallet was there. Nope. He went out of his way to help me and was very polite about it. I love the fact that the mall security tries everything they can to help people in need. I eventually got my wallet but I think without him my wallet wouldn't have been found. I really thank the RPS security for helping people and being so kind. Thank you. read more

This review is for the parking. We parked at the garage tonight and I asked how late they were open. She said they were open until 1:30 and that we would pay at the end of the evening. And that's all she said. We are from out of town so we wanted her help of how it all worked. We had a great evening out and came back in plenty of time at 1:10 and all the doors to the mall were locked and No one was in sight. We panicked. Eventually we walked around and up the entrance to where we originally drove in. A very cold and long walk after a long evening! Then we tried to pay in the kiosks and our card never would work. We had to call for help and no one came. Finally 10 min later someone came and finally helped us. Bottom line is that the lady at the beginning of the evening should have qualified her statement and told us if you get in past a certain time you have to walk around and where to pay. Give your customer the full answer! What a pain ! read more

Sorry Spokanites, but this place is a joke, acting as if they are some kind of high end, classy mall! Not even close. If it weren't for the availability of having a Nordstrom, Sephora, and movie theatre, this place is just posing! Parked in the parkade at 9 am because I had an appointment at the government building across the street. So, I had brought homework to do and sat in the empty, (sad) food court, minding my own business. I only had an hour to "waste" until my appointment. About 5 minutes in, security come to shoo me away as if I was causing trouble, whilst doing my homework. Really? I feel sorry for you all that think this mall is anything worth very much:-( This place has nothing compared to ANY of the malls in the cities we have lived in! (Las Vegas, Calgary, L.A.) So, they should stop acting like everyone is a bum taking up space in their "high end" establishment. Whatever?!? read more
