Looking for vintage finds in Spokane? Then look no further than Boulevard. Besides your standard…read morehousehold items, Boulevard has lots of clothes and old records. During my most recent visit, I found an old Girl Scout book with recipes for Girl Scout cookies. I also purchased a whole bunch of skeleton keys. I have an old house with the original doors throughout that require a skeleton key to lock the door. Unfortunately, the keys must have gotten lost over time, thus why I bought a bunch of different ones to try to figure out which ones could actually work to lock the doors in my house. Surprisingly, two of the keys did work! So, now I know which ones to buy more of in the future. I also got a plant that has been thriving in my office. While located on a busy street, parking is easily available as there is plenty of parking behind the building.

I couldn't move away from them until I chose four beautiful butterflies and one hello summer patches. It is such a fun store to meander through. Something for everyone. Metro is a really interesting furniture store located right across the Monroe Street Bridge from…read moreDowntown Spokane. They primarily sell consignment mid-century furniture and I am always inspired by their window displays. Every time I am in the neighborhood I come in to the shop and look around. The prices range from budget friendly to aspirational. I have been impressed with the matching dining sets, the overall quality they bring in, and the uniqueness of all the items here. Definitely a place to find some hip statement pieces for your condo or retro home. Nice selection of art, as well as furniture, and Metro spans three show rooms! You can park on the street or in the adjoining lots. It's just across the street from Coeur Coffee and the Kendall Yards development as well, so it is easy to pop in as a part of some urban hiking. If you let them know you are watching for something in particular they are very helpful.

Definitely not the quality you expect to receive when you spend $1,000 on a 4 person table. Customer service was disappointing to say the least, not reaching out with follow up after I submitted the complaint to their customer service team, regardless of providing both my email and phone number. Instead I had to call back to follow up on the issue and was told Pottery Barn simply suggested reaching out to furnituremedic.com to repair the paint. Needless to say, I will no longer be purchasing from Pottery Barn.

This wasn't the first place I'd looked for a decanter in the area, but I'm super glad that I did pop in here because it was the last place I needed to look! I also picked up a few more wine glasses for an incredible price (on sale too). I'll definitely check out this Pottery Barn again when I'm in need of a specialty item, and you should too! The wine? After browsing through I have to say that this is an underrated store in Spokane. Great prices on very cool pieces! People- do not- I repeat do-not drive all the way to Seattle for Ikea nonsense. Dania will get you the modern stuff, you won't have to put it together, and its really affordable (and you can avoid the stress of cramming things into your car for the drive home). The only thing is Dania doesn't have meatballs...so there is a drawback. For apartment dwellers or smaller home folks they have the modern, smaller scale pieces but also huge sectionals for your epic lake cabin people. I have to think this furniture would also work in traditional homes as well.
