There is sooo much to see here and find. The selection is wide range with all of the different vendors inside. Some of the pricing seemed a little high but there were quite a few sales going on. The upstairs portion is a little rickety but there is so much to see. We loved meeting the shop cat, Baby Cat, as well. Would highly recommend stopping in and shopping small (and local)!

Such as moving items to different locations behind the counter and office before purchasing items to buy. Thus not getting paid for item. After leaving the shop I realized and had to return to store to collect money owed for item taken into their office prematurely before transaction was complete. Typically all items that are being considered for purchase be left on the counter in front of both the seller and buyer until transaction is completed. Also wasting my time as well as theirs in purchasing items that one owner likes but the other owner doesn't like after looking up items for their value and then not buying items because one owner isn't in agreeance with the other. They need a better system in regards to this type of buying process as to not waste everyone's time when end result was not to buy. While one owner admires the craftsmanship of an item of being that of high quality and another owner claiming it's cheaply made when clearly it's a designer piece with designers signature on item. ​​​Their own staff isn't even on the same page and isn't knowledgeable about what they are speaking about. This was my second year attending the Farm Chicks show and let me say, this year was better than…read morelast year! If you love to see creativity at it's best, please come to the Farm Chicks show. It just makes for a fun girls weekend. Last year was my first trip to Spokane and it's a much more charming town that I thought. Lots of funky thrift shops here and in Coeur d'Alene (which is barely 30 minutes away). You can take one day for junkin' and one day for the Farm Chicks. It's $6 for both days and bring your camera and a notebook because you'll want to write down all the cute ideas you find. My find of the day at the show was a $10 vintage watch from http://www.athingforroses.blogspot.com/. Be prepared to wait outside for a few to get in - my friend took a picture of the line to get in, which I will try and snag and post. But it's one of those lines where you talk to everyone in it - which makes it fun. Also, I would recommend bringing cash if you are going to buy - not too many places took cards. If you love vintage finds, make the pilgrimage - and don't forget to wear your apron!

One of the few places I've found in Spokane that keeps antique furniture intact rather than covering it with this or that color chalk paint. (They do have a couple painted pieces, but many more are natural wood). The store was well organized and there was plenty of inventory - lots of furniture, beautiful old books, and the walls are covered in all sorts of art. There is even a pretty garden in the back.
