There is a couple of things that are consistent; the manager/owner is rude and unhelpful and the staff seem worn out and frustrated (probably due to the individual mentioned previously), but most of them seem helpful. It just makes for a fun girls weekend. Last year was my first trip to Spokane and it's a much more charming town that I thought. Lots of funky thrift shops here and in Coeur d'Alene (which is barely 30 minutes away). You can take one day for junkin' and one day for the Farm Chicks. It's $6 for both days and bring your camera and a notebook because you'll want to write down all the cute ideas you find. Be prepared to wait outside for a few to get in - my friend took a picture of the line to get in, which I will try and snag and post. But it's one of those lines where you talk to everyone in it - which makes it fun. Also, I would recommend bringing cash if you are going to buy - not too many places took cards. Such as moving items to different locations behind the counter and office before purchasing items to buy. Thus not getting paid for item. After leaving the shop I realized and had to return to store to collect money owed for item taken into their office prematurely before transaction was complete. Typically all items that are being considered for purchase be left on the counter in front of both the seller and buyer until transaction is completed. Also wasting my time as well as theirs in purchasing items that one owner likes but the other owner doesn't like after looking up items for their value and then not buying items because one owner isn't in agreeance with the other. They need a better system in regards to this type of buying process as to not waste everyone's time when end result was not to buy. While one owner admires the craftsmanship of an item of being that of high quality and another owner claiming it's cheaply made when clearly it's a designer piece with designers signature on item. ​​​Their own staff isn't even on the same page and isn't knowledgeable about what they are speaking about. Seems that customer service is a joke. They had one cashier, the line was clear to the back of the…read morestore. When the one cashier called for back up, the other employees in the store made no effort to provide any sort of assistance. After about 45-min two employees made it to the front of the store. When a customer started to clap that there was going to be another cashier, the employee who's name began with an "S" told him to shut his f-ing mouth and he didn't run the g-d store. Five customers got tired of the game that was being played placed their merchandise down and left. The store was a total disaster, merchandise thrown on the floor, creating tripping hazards. Someone did make an attempt to sweep the floor, but left the trash and broom in the middle of the store. A customer dropped a jar, she offered to sweep up the glass again "S" blamed the customer for intentionally dropping the jar. The manager should consider in looking at the amount of people they may want to have on duty, especially on Sunday-back-up cashiers and someone to pick up the merchandise off the floor-this store is a walking law-suit. Someone needs to tell "S" to keep her foul mouth to herself-not good for company relations.
