As part of our Portland trip last year, we had to stop by this mall as my niece wanted to see the big red shoe. So after we had walked a bit outside, we took shelter from the drizzle and cold in this mall. It's multilevel, not entirely huge, compared to a lot of other malls I've been to, but it does have your standard food court and well also a cinema built in which is convenient. We did find the red shoe tucked down near the Williams Sonoma where I scored some free hot chocolate samples for the kiddos. Overall, not bad, not large, and a good place to just take a little walk around cause that's how we do.

It's beautiful here at the holidays!

This is a good solid anchor in the downtown core, and the connecting skybridges are great to access other businesses (like the library!). I am sad that Macy's left, but there is a great Nordstrom, several chain shops, a top notch AMC theater, and a surprisingly decent food court. True, there could be more stores, but it is constantly evolving and definitely on the up and up. I feel like RPS has gotten better in just the few years I've lived in Spokane, and I think that trend is going to continue. I really love that they have a huge seating area on the third floor, including a quieter area around behind the food court. This makes for a great place to have lunch and enjoy the natural lighting. My favorite part of the mall, though, is the huge open atrium in the front. It is especially beautiful at Christmas with the huge tree.

My daughter and her friends from WSU often came here to eat sushi at Maru's and to pick up clothing for skiing at North Face. But there are a lot of stores, places to eat and theaters as well. Parking is convenient and you can park there while you visit other nearby places such as Boo Radley and Atticus coffee! My go to shopping place when I'm in Spokane.

Nice four story mall with all the popular retail stores across from the Spokane falls, park, and science museum with lots to do in the area. Parking garage was pricey but nice to be available. The entrance of the mall was impressive with views that appear to go up eight stories. The escalators were an interesting ride. Movie theatre up top, lots of dining options too.

All the great stores in one place. Convenient parking garage underneath so you don't have to walk in the rain. Also, on the second floor there are connecting enclosed pedestrian bridges that go over the street to take you to the other shop in complexes across the street.

Ticks most of the boxes for a downtown mall. Selection of stores is about what you'd expect, upper-middle income stuff with a smattering of high-end luxury just to make you feel bad. Clothes and fashion predominate but there's a decent selection of restaurants and a really nice toy store. The food court is all right but some slap on an extra fee just to see if you're checking the receipt. Editorial: the giant high-heel red stiletto sculpture has got to go. 1.) It's gawdy as hell. 2.) The messages of empowerment posted next to the shoe cross into dark satire. Let's use #metoo as an opportunity to move past this crap eh? Parking in the ramp is fairly straight-forward and there are usually spots to be had. Paying however can be a headache when it's busy. They have exactly 2 self-pay kiosks in the whole mall and up to 4 people working the desks maximum. This is great most of the time and absolutely ridiculous occasionally. For example; after an xmas tree lighting ceremony last week we waited 20 minutes to pay. 20 minutes! To pay! For parking! How about a few more self-pay kiosks? Lobby is neat-o and there's lots of stuff to do in the area.

I thought I did this already lol Yelp said do my review so here we go again. The mall was closed as we arrived as went to go see Eternals at AMC Theaters and I loved the theater and it's been over two years seeing a movie at a show house and just got a pop and price was reasonable but this is my favorite theater and my account is still active lol future trips means future shows to see.

    Plenty of fine dining choices

I am amazed how a few months can change downtown Spokane so much. It was a cold and windy day today but there was people from all ages out and about with their families shopping, laughing, eating, walking their dogs and just having a good time. The streets are cleaner and I felt safer than I have ever felt down here in years. I am so proud to see all the positive changes for the community and businesses here and I hope that more wonderful changes will happen in the future. Let's help make Spokane a bigger and more beautiful place to live and be proud of!!

I like this mall, but there aren't that many stores for clothes. Bring a Maurice's, a Rue 21, a Kohl's-something!

Spokane is a funny place for board gamers. Board game cafes are heavy on the "cafe" and light on…read morethe "board game." Game shops seem to either have no space to play a game or they have lots of space with no clear instructions on when/how the space can/should be used and by whom. And all of the shops we visited while in town were struggling with identity crisis. As for Uncles: Good: Board game selection is better than the other shops we visited in town Bummer: Not a cafe and no obvious place to play a game, so likely intended as strictly retail rather than a gaming space. (No harm no foul...just offering an observation for the advantage of others) Bad: Nobody offered to help (employees stayed behind the counter while we were there). Odd: Organization/layout and display shelves were a challenge. Some areas were clearly organized and others less so. Just when I started to think I was understanding the organizational scheme, I'd find a game that obviously belonged with a group of others on the other side of the store. Just my opinion, but there is enough selection here that an alphabetical layout scheme would probably make sense. Suggestion: Pick an identity: Toy store or game shop? Gone are the days of the bizarrely mixed toy department in the basement of the local sporting goods store. Board games have moved beyond classification as "toys" and into the realm of being a true hobby all its own. If Uncles decides to focus up as a game store, consider dumping the little kid toys and leaning heavier into collectibles loved by most gamers (e.g. Funko, Iron Studios, Superhero/Fantasy/Sci-Fi stuff, etc.) Parking: rough. (Seemed as though downtown paid street parking was the only option.) Pricing is pretty standard for brick and mortar...a touch higher than you can find online in most cases. (I call it the "Instant Gratification Tax.") At the end of the day, I came away feeling as though the shop might be run by a pair of contentious siblings...one who loves modern board games and the other who is convinced that kid's toys are the way to go. Combining them in this small a space was OK in the '80s but now is just confusing for both groups.

Super helpful. Didn't have the game we wanted but suggested one the family loved including the teensread more
