Wow. Just wow! Been coming here since my first date with my guy, 15 years,,,, how did I never write a review?? River Grille, in the past 15 years has always been a solid, great meal. One u could always count on for delicious, feel good food. It's been a while since I've been, but went tonight with some friends and had an awesome experience . From the greeting received by Kyle, the courtesy of the staff( seating and getting water etc) to our waitress, Stephanie,,,, the service was terrific and sincere. ( very nice to see people working together and enjoying their work!) Let's get serious now.... The food. Holy hell, from drinks to apps, to entrees to dessert..... outstanding!!! We had many apps and we all had different meals . I had the shrimp and biscuits ,,,, good Lord, AMAZING!!! I had the scallop entree, equally incredible! We had an excellent meal last.evening. Started off with a dirty martini and shared the arugula and beet. salad which was fresh and tasty. My wife had the black and blue ribeye and I had the orecchiette and broccolini. Both were outstanding as we shared them as well. Still had doggy bags to take home and enjoy it for lunch the next day. Place has a great vibe service was very good. First time here for both of us but it looks like a place where people head after work on Friday. Nice to see people coming back to the restaurants. Easton has done a fabulous job of keeping things going during the pandemic. read more

This was our first time at River Grille and we will certainly be back! We opted to eat in their outdoor space because it is so well done. They have a covered tent on Northampton street with fake green grass and fire pits. Tables are nicely separated, and you feel safe if you are COVID cautious. Our waitress was outstanding and provided us several recommendations. Per her recommendation, we ordered calamari as an appetizer. The breading was light and the calamari had great texture. We enjoyed both the aioli and marinara sauce it was served with! As an entrée, I had short rib with mashed potatoes. The short rib was very tender and flavorful. My boyfriend ordered the salmon with risotto, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We look forward to dining at River Grille again for the good food, atmosphere, and service! read more

Very nice staff, not that attentive. But certainly friendly and polite. Food for lunch took a very long time. Basically an hour and a half for one margarita pizza and two Caesar salad's two glasses of Prosecco. 80 bucks without tip. The food was pretty good, the margarita pizza looks like it was made hours ago and reheat it, flavor was good but definitely not fresh. There are hundreds of places to eat around this place, this is one you could miss. read more

This was our first time here for lunch (5/6/23) we were celebrating my daughter's graduation. Beautiful place, bright, and clean with great food (we had appetizers -desserts) and our server was wonderful (Taylor). My Mom uses a walker and it was easy access for her. First off This is a great place. The place is clean, fancy setup. The bathrooms are super clean. The help is very good super helpful. The food here is five star all around. The Vegan pizza is colorful all around great presentation and the way a pizza was mentioned to be. The Chilean Sea Bass was excellent with super fresh vegetables and a tasty sauce. The desserts are super tasty good size . This is definitely a Gem in a nice small city. read more

We have been probably ten times since in the 2 1/2 years since we moved to Easton and there has never been a let down of the top-notch service, fine food and first rate bar and bartender. I must say I was very disappointed in the River Grille. My friend and I went there for lunch and ordered 2 burgers from the menu. The only caveat is that my fried asked for mozzarella instead of cheddar! Since they made pizza, it seemed like a no brainer! Take a tiny bit of cheese and sprinkle on a burger! We were told she couldn't have mozzarella because that is only for pizza! WTF we were willing to pay $30 for drinks & $40 for burgers! Our poor waiter was forced to try & convince the chef to make the cheese swap! Alas, we got nowhere so we decided to dine elsewhere! The ultimate insult was the manager actually defending this decision! He kept telling us if they use the cheese on her hamburger they could run out of cheese for a pizza! Also if others saw her mozzarella on the burger they would want it too! The amount of cheese used for the burger wouldn't even be enough for a pizza slice! He offered no apology or no discount on the $30 drink we ordered and paid for! read more

We have eaten here several times. The can accommodate large and small groups. It does have a full service bar as well. It is very nice place to eat and clean. The menu offers plenty to choose from. I have not had a bad meal here yet. The place is dark and cozy, elegant and upscale but casual. Great place for a date night, dinner out with friends, or intimate family gathering. The menu is what it should be, a well rounded on-theme set of options, varied enough to be accommodating, but slim enough to be successful. Our go-to orders are the Chicken parmigiana and the rigatoni bolognese. The chicken parmigiana is a rich, hearty, well balanced zesty flavored meal, and massive. It comes with a generous chicken breast atop of spaghetti with a really well made red sauce. The rigatoni is also good, the sauce is hearty and meaty and goes well with the rigatoni. My only complaint is the service here, our waiter last time was a bit poor at time management during out visit, he tended to disappear for large amounts of time or immediately come back after just leaving 30 sec ago. It got to the point where the waitress waiting on the table next to us took better care of us than our own waiter. My husband and I made reservations and had to wait extra half hour before being seated. It was our first time at the River Grille. Aside from the wait we truly enjoyed the entire dinner. I understand this is one of the best restaurants in Easton, PA. It has a wonderful menu with some really interesting items. Underlying it all, this place serves steak, chicken and seafood. I have not had swordfish is many years, so I went with that. It was served with black beans and rice. Before that, I had a house salad. The salad was excellent - they go a little heavy on the dressing (which was great), so if you order it, make sure to get the dressing on the side. The swordfish was a little under-cooked, but tasty none-the-less. I also had a martini - nothing special but it was good. The desert menu looked fantastic, but we'd eaten too much and chose not to have any. It's a great restaurant - worth a visit. read more

Love that they have outdoor seating in cases in such style and class. My black and blue rib eye was ok, I asked for medium well and it arrived well done. The brocollini was raw and extremely hard, definitely difficult to eat. My husbands filet minion was perfect with red wine glaze. Went to sample the food during Easton restaurant week. I had the short ribs and the hubs had the ribeye. They were both fantastic! As were the coconut shrimp, coconut flan and the cheesecake. Our server Eric was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and a nice addition to our visit. The atmosphere is your basic contemporary casual with a mixed but energetic crowd. While there is plenty of seating, it seems reservations would be wise....a testament to the quality of the food. My only complaint was the $15 martinis. While they were tasty, the price of a good glass of wine was more reasonable. Definitely on the 'return to' list! read more

To begin, I have been a vegan for multiple years, and selected this restaurant having seen that they had 3 options on line. But, when I got there they only had 2, which was fine, but the mixed grill lacked any protein, so I added the bean mash to supplement my dietary needs for protein. However, when it came out everything was cold so was the shrimp on my dining companions salad. Dinner was served concerningly quickly but they remade the grill but it lacked seasoning and flair. I may be vegan but I do have tastebuds! Additionally, even with so few people dining at the restaurant at the time, the restaurant was loud to the extent that I couldn't hear my dining partner across the table.
