Coming back to up the stars i came here with a friend for my birthday over the weekend. I love the easy online reservation capability. We arrived and were seated timely. They sat us near the bar which didn't feel too special for my birthday but no big deal. Our server was so great, friendly, accommodating- great personality. She was on top of us but not all over which I admire in a server. Most importantly they had the ribeye which I did not see on the online menu and it is my favorite, so what a great birthday surprise! When in town I stopped in at this restaurant for dinner. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and sat at the bar. The place was super cute. Sean was my bartender and he was nice. I came here once over the summer for lunch and once more recently with a few co-workers for dinner. I can't say I absolutely loved it. We ordered spring roll egg rolls and fresh mozzarella for appetizers which were very good and we enjoyed them! For my main course I ordered the lobster pasta, which was good but not outstanding. The sauce on the pasta dish was a bit too heavy for my liking and the pasta was drowning in the sauce. Although, they did give a generous portion of lobster in the pasta dish. Overall, River Grille was good. I would definitely need to come here a second time for dinner to give a better rating and give it a second d shot! We got to our reservation 45 minutes early and quickly sat at the bar to grab a cocktail before dinner. Bartender was attentive and made an excellent martini. We ended up being seated early to our table before we could finish our drinks. Staff were friendly, worked as a team, and were extremely attentive. Food served quickly. Busy place, but they run super efficient. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Ordered the gnocchi bolognese and chicken parm, and butternut squash soup. Wish we would've tried a non pasta dish to try a main entree, but the food was very good. The food and drink menus have a great variety, and no matter what you order, it is going to be fantastic. The service is stellar as well. Some of my faves are Lobster Sliders (amazing), Chicken Spring Rolls, Calamari, Lobster Bisque, Beet Salad, Bronzino, Salmon, Lobster Pappardelle Pasta, Short Rib,Coconut Shrimp......They are ALL Phenomenal!! Great place for a business lunch. I had the apple/walnut and goat cheese salad with salmon. The salad was fresh and nicely portioned. The fish was very nicely cooked, but the portion was relatively small - maybe 6oz? Service was great, attentive without being overbearing. I didn't love the interior of the space, which is really the only reason I'm rating this as a four star establishment. Honestly, though, it didn't detract at all from the important part of the experience - the food and service - it just wasn't a particularly noticeable or impressive atmosphere. I guess it was missing a sort of "cool" factor or any kind of visual interest that stood out to me. Which is totally fine! The food and service are what really matter, and River Grille did those things well. At this price point the vibe is just icing on the cake. The fresh mozzarella appetizer had juicy tomatoes, cucumbers and capers with a bright basil oil, it was a great start to our meal. The apple walnut salad, was perfectly dressed, and served with fresh bread with a sun dried tomato oil for dipping. The burger was juicy, quality meat with bacon strips that were thick and crispy. We dined here tonight for the first time. It was DELICIOUS and AMAZING!!!! We celebrated my birthday tonight. The food and the service was 10/10. We started with the Lobster bisque and the chop chop salad. The bisque was some of the best I've ever had. I got the black and blue ribeye. My sister got the lobster pasta (all the pasta is homemade), my husband got a steak that was on special and my daughter got a pizza. All of our dishes were great. Everything was hot and fresh. My husband said it was one of the best steaks he has ever had. The lobster pasta oh my goshhhhhhhhh amazing. We took dessert home tiramisu and cheesecake both were very good. This place never disappoints. I took the family for an early dinner today, New Years' Eve, as 4:30pm was the only time slot we could reserve with three days' notice. Lots of great food, drinks and deserts. Frutti di Mare was awesome with squid ink pasta in a spicy sauce, Mussels appetizer, terrific, Cesar Salad large enough to share, Salmon with Risotto was outstanding, amazing lobster bisque and a few other hits. Excellent staff! Our waiter and the rest of the staff made several frequent stops at our table clearing plates and being bread. My girlfriend treated me to a wonderful birthday dinner at River Grille last week and it did not disappoint. From the food and atmosphere, and specially to the service, it did not disappoint (mostly). The food came out quick and it was delicious. We ordered the Chicken Parmesan with linguini and the Gnocchi Bolognese. The the flavors were great (and for the Gnocchi, perhaps a tad too strong), but the only issue we had was with the texture of the noodles. The noodles (which are claimed to be handmade daily) tasted good, but they seemed to be a bit soggy/mushy, which was a let down. Aside from that, we thought our appetizer (coconut shrimp) and dessert (PB and chocolate ganache cake) were perfect. Even more impressive was the service. Our server, Suzanna was amazing! She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and prompt throughout the entirety of our visit. We made no mention of my birthday, but she noticed when checking my ID, and when we ordered dessert, she delighted us with a lit candle on top of the cake and birthday wishes. Birthday candle aside, everything was amazing, but Suzanna's kindness really brought the whole experience together. If Yelp would let me, I'd give River Grille a 9.5 out of 10 stars. Prices were good, service and food were great, but my only issue is that the pasta was a letdown, and it's hard to let that go when you order not one, but two distinct pasta dishes. read more

Well, it was a Monday and it seems like all the best restaurants were closed in the Easton/Bethlehem area. Well... not all the best. I'm so glad we were forced to try somewhere new because I just discovered my new favorite spot!!! This place is so quaint. They definitely had us at "hello". This is a go-to in Easton. I usually eat take out from here so hence the no photos, but loved our usual choices. From the pesto penne to the pistachio topped salmon, it was great. However, tried the filet mignon for the first time and said well done, but the meat was a bit more cooked than would've liked. I came here this afternoon with my mom, sister and my 3 nieces and nephews after going to the crayola experience earlier this morning. We had a really wonderful experience! They put us in the back which we loved so the kids could be a bit more rambunctious without interrupting people which was perfect for our group! This was our first time here. We sat in the front area. It was a nice restaurant- like the color scheme. Host and waitress were nice and quick with food. The appetizer was awesome- chicken spring roll. Love the dipping sauces. (Colorful too) I got the GF penne pasta with vodka sauce -very good. My fiancé got the margarita pizza- good and enough to take some home. For dessert we got the crime brûlée and lava cake. Overall great experience and we will definitely come back. Parking was not to bad either. My only annoyance were the kids running around from a private party. I hope next time we get to sit near the fireplace. read more
