It was $60, but that seems to be the going rate for sneakers-if you can take advantage of a sale, do so. Unfortunately, my old sneakers were starting to finally fall apart and I just needed to get a new shoe before the old shoes completely fell apart! One thing I like about big five is not only that they have wonderful customer service but knowledgeable customer service! There's nothing better than bringing in something and you're able to get a replacement for it with knowledgeable customer service! I had ordered the wrong size ( my fault) and they were so nice to accept it for exchange - I was surprised they had the replacement ready for me when I walked in. All the staff were astonished at a web order customer from California stepped into the store in Oregon. Guess not too many people do that.. Left with more my original list - lots of flies, DWR finisher, and more skagit tips... They were very nice and helped me select the flies for the coho salmon on the Siuslaw and Alsea rivers... Definitely a must go to for the fly angler when you visit the area.

Whether it's the lack of knowledge or care in customer service. I've stopped going to big chains now and have fully given these guys my business. Aside from the occasional ammo pickup but, besides during this whole fiasco, Mazama usually has all the ammo I could ever need. They've always been super helpful and really knowledgeable. And they always had what I'm looking for. Looking forward to fishing time and seeing what else they've got to offer. From what I've seen, they look like they could have just about anything I could ever need in regards to fishing as well so we'll see! Also, just found out that I can come in and work on my AR there and they would help me out as well. So looking forward to doing that too! Wrong they said they could maybe warranty it. Didn't say ya no problem we can handle this. So that's it for me and I have 100s of people in my boat a year guess what I'm gonna say? And don't respond as an owner...you need to change up the so called manager that can't even order a large pack of 5/0 owner hooks.
