Rare to ever have a positive experience with the pharmacy here. Time to fill prescriptions is almost always underestimated and most times appear to be forgotten. A few individuals on staff tend to know very little about how to do their jobs. Stay away. read more

Rite Aid kind of inspires all it's customers to make it art of their life style. My grandma's buy my Christmas bath set here, I buy their birthday bath sets here. The ciiiiiiiiiiircle of liiiiiiiiiiiiife! Wooah wooah wumbuh waaaaaaay. It has what you need ...in needless variety. Who needs eight off brands of petroleum jelly? O.0 Not me but I'll buy one jar because it's half off 1.50. You never know. This store is full of things I would have had a near melt down of happiness over in middle school. Kids can afford to get things they don't need- something SORELY absent on Vashon. Here some shampoo, a bottle of hair dye you say you'll use but don't, and some cutesy array of sleep over spa type essentials might set you back twenty bucks. Living with four other girls we go through a lot of fru fru. They have fru fru, in most major brands and eight off brands. I love you Rite Aid. read more

The service levels at this pharmacy are shocking! 3 hours isn't enough time for them to fill a called in prescription for 2 standard antibiotics. And they can't count either, 30...60...whatever. God forbid you ask them to fill your prescription with non generic drugs, you'll be dead before they can figure out how to get them. What happened to people just doing their jobs right? read more

Do not go here for prescriptions. They are always out of drugs. They will order and tell you to come back. When you do come back even a day after they told you it would be ready they still had not filled it. They don't even have the courtesy of putting you next in line. Nooooooo. You go to the end. More waiting. They say 20 min more like 45 min so far. Sad thing is... the store is really nice and clean. The pharmacy kills it. read more

They have a great pharmacy and whenever I refill my Rx online, it's ready when I need it. Nice staff and great service. I've only been inside the store once actually, but it's a clean store and staff are nice there as well and informative. Glad I live just down the street and the pharmacy drive thru is a major plus! read more

The only reason I go here is convenience. The floor staff are always nice, but the pharmacy staff varies. Forget going there anywhere near closing time as it stresses them out beyond belief and they will be difficult at best. I think anyone stating they are awesome in the pharmacy either works there, knows someone who does, or has been extremely lucky. Sadly I can't really offer any suggestions; pharmacies in general have gotten pretty bad. read more

Look, I am not one to write a Yelp review unless a place is really superb or really awful. The staff at this pharmacy are very nice and I'm sure are understaffed, however, the service is TERRIBLE. This is hands down the slowest pharmacy I've ever been to in my entire life. It has even taken them overnight to fill a prescription for a bad rash for my child. Who needs that long to put a tube of cream in a bag? On top of the several hour wait for each drug that I have gotten, and how they never seem to receive prescriptions from my doctor (whom I have never had issues with at any other pharmacy) or my phone refill requests. On top of all of these absent and late medications, one time a pharmacist came to the drive through to chastise me for not picking up my medication on time. This makes absolutely no sense because I pick it up almost immediately from them every time and am very organized about my family's prescriptions! They then asked me if I'm taking my medication regularly or if I sleep all day. I'm sorry--excuse me? THEN after I was completely confused by their lecture, the pharmacist informed me that they HAVE been having problems with their computer system, so maybe that was it. I felt like a kindergartner in the principal's office! I am definitely looking into switching pharmacies. read more

I come to this pharmacy because of it's location. I think going forward I will not request for the pharmacy to send my prescription to this pharmacy. I waited in there drive thru for 15 min there was three cars ahead of me so I decided to go inside being that I had to buy milk. I went inside and it was just as bad the lady that was attending didn't even call you up from where they tell you to wait she looks at you and ask last name. I feel the confidentiality like really can you kindly call up and ask my last name versus telling me from a distance last night and you still can't hear so I have to repeat twice and than you move further away and ask first name and than move another foot away and say Birthday like really. I called in my prescription a day before to give them time I get there it's still not filled and let alone they still have to call the doctor for approval. It's Saturday so it isn't going to happen so annoyed.... Than I'm told to not use the automated system because it doesn't go thru as priority. The time I did call it in and spoke to someone to fill it they told me to use the automated system. All I could think really don't use something that isn't effective or call instead of waiting an hour to get a prescription. read more

Called in a prescription to this pharmacy 4 time to be refilled that needed Dr. Authorization. All four requests went without a fax to my Dr. for authorization. Finally had to call my Dr. to call the Pharmacy a(which is not the procedure) to get the pharmacy to act. This pharmacy is negligent in their handling of prescriptions and offers the worst customer service. read more

This was my first and last visit to this Rite Aid. My new physician called in a prescription. After work I went to Rite Aid to pick it up. The checker said my insurance information wasn't found in the computer, and that I needed to bring in my insurance card. I went home, drove back to the store and presented my insurance card - but now they didn't need it. The checker told me that after a few minutes of 'playing with' the computer they got my information. They tried paging me but I had already left the store. I went home to get my insurance card and came back - all because the store employee did not do her job. The checker did not apologize for the inconvenience. Horrid customer service. read more

The pros: The front of the store has wonderful employees. They are helpful and mostly cheerful, and almost always greet me as I come in the front door. Even when they are busy, and can't show me where the item I am looking for is, they are usually able to tell me exactly where it is, aisle, shelf, etc. Very helpful. The Cons: There is not nearly enough help. I go in usually on the way home from work or in the evening, and the staff is one mgr and one cashier. Usually both are cashiering and there is a line. These two employees (there are a few regulars) are friendly, and are working their hands off, but it is obvious they could use an extra person. The other day, someone needed a passport photo, and one of these busy cashiers had to run over and take care of it, leaving the line to grow. I do not blame these employees for this, it is obvious that the staff is not large enough to handle this time of night. To me that is a store manager or corporate failure. This seems to have gotten worse in the past few months. I know they have a new manager (which, btw, the employees don't seem too fond of), so maybe this is an issue with him? read more

The general store and the pharmacy are typical--nothing extraordinary. The photo service, however, is ridiculous. Try 1: My husband and I placed separate orders, online, just before Christmas. My husband's order was supposed to take 3-5 days, and ended up taking a week and a half. When I went to pick it up both orders (after getting a call that mine was ready), they told me neither order was there. It took 15 minutes and spelling out my name 3 or 4 times before they finally found them, right where they were supposed to be. I picked the order up on my way to the airport, so I didn't notice that not all my pictures were there until I was out of the country. The order was hand-written on an envelope, so I wasn't too surprised and decided to fix it later. Try 2: I returned from my trip over Christmas to a call saying my photo order was ready. I figured the first one had been some kind of weird mistake and went to pick it up, letting them know I had already picked up the first order. Luckily, they didn't make me pay a second time. Since the first order had been messed up, I checked them there--and the quality was horrific. They were supposed to be black and white photos, but they were gray streaked with light pink. The manager offered to re-print them if I could bring the photos in on a flash drive. Since I didn't really need them (they had been Christmas presents) I never got around to going back. Try 3: I received 3 phone calls spread over a couple months, all automated saying that I had a photo order in at my local Rite Aid. I hadn't placed any orders since that one at Christmas, so I ignored them. Recently (late April 2013) my husband went to pick up an order he had placed. When he first went, the photo counter was "closed" (no one was printing photos) and the clerk refused to even check if his order was done. The clerk insisted that the phone call saying his order was done was a mistake, and he needed to come back later. The next morning, when he returned to the store, they first gave him the order i had placed at Christmas--again. But again, there were both photos missing and the color quality was all pink and streaky. Luckily he checked the photos and was able to get his order as well (they had been sitting there for 2 days, according to the date on them). I will say, in all this, the managers have been friendly, calm and helpful. Suffice to say, I will be ordering my photos elsewhere in the future. read more
