I just moved to Seattle a couple months ago and have been forced to use this pharmacy for my monthly prescriptions. From the first time I went to pick up my prescription AFTER receiving a text notification stating it was ready, I was forced to wait close to 30 minutes because it was in fact not ready for pick up, to this month needing to confirm that my prescription was able to be filled because the pharmacist told me I may need a prior auth - However there is ZERO number you can call as a patient and actually get through to speak to a person. You are forced to share all of your private information with an AI chat bot and then once you've made it through all the AI hoops you have to jump through, the ONLY option for patients is to leave a voicemail to which you will NEVER get called back. As someone who works in healthcare with cancer patients who need a reliable pharmacy with decent human beings working at it I would NEVER recommend to one of my patients that they put their life in the hands of these lazy, rude, couldn't care less about patient people at CVS Pharmacy inside of Target on 2nd Ave in Seattle. PS... Lets not forget that simply based on the location any person who walks into the store et large is treated like a drug addled homeless person. read more

I don't usually rate stores and pharmacies and most people that do it's typically after a bad experience. The CVS Pharmacy, located within Target on 2nd and Pike, is a really good pharmacy. My prescription was ready within an hour or so after my doctor sent it in. I then went to pick it up and there was no line, so I was in and out very fast. The service was friendly as well. read more

Every time I pick up my prescription it is a different cost and no one can tell me why. I pay $11.00 dollars last month and this month it $108.00 dollars. It's the same prescription and the same thing. Why!! This must be Biden prescription reduction plan me keep talking about or Well Care insurance making a killing on there cost. read more

The Staff. Very rude and impatient. Called for my prescription, the person who answered on the phone said it's at Target. I called again because there was mistake at my other pharmacy and when I called again, same woman answered but got annoyed and just bluntly said "It's at the Target pharmacy!" This CVS saved me! I flew to Seattle from Austin this morning and forgot my anti-depressant. I'm in Seattle for a big meeting, and need to be on my game. My prescription is at Walgreens but I couldn't find any open on Sunday downtown. I was about to take a cab until I noticed I needed to take 2 ferry rides. Walgreens, not open on Sunday in a major metro area???? WTF? I guess they lost too much money on Theranos... Anyway, I went to CVS hoping for the best. if I could give negative stars I would. Tectonic plates move faster than these people do. I just wanted to buy bandaids which they have locked up presumably to prevent theft. It took 35 minutes to find someone with a key and another 25 minutes in line to pay. RIDICULOUS!!! read more

This place fucking sucks. They're holding my prescriptions hostage. I do NOT want my prescriptions filled at this location and yet they keep filling my prescriptions and preventing them from being filled by any other pharmacy. They never answer the phone but expect me to travel to them in person to fix their mistake. I live in Tukwila and they expect me to travel 12 miles to their location in downtown Seattle to fix their problem. Fuck this place. I hate these assholes. read more

Instead of giving me my Rx as prescribed, they gave me a smaller size because that's all they had. Without telling me. The proper way to handle it was to give me multiple quantities of the smaller sizes. This caused a big chain of problems for me as my doc was on vacation when I needed a refill and I had to wait for an appointment for another doc. The employees here are like the DMV; they don't seem to be present at their jobs. Ask them what happens after they put in a refill RX request and they are like deer staring at headlights. I guess it hadn't ever occurred to them that a customer might want to know if and how they will be notified when a doctor responds. Usually means these guys have no system in place. read more

I am from out of town. I attempted to come in at 6:40pm to purchase some items to help my wife cope with some things to deal with her pain. They wouldn't let me in. Apparently closing at at 7:00 means closing at 6:40 or sooner (whatever time they wouldn't allow people in). read more

Got my COVID-19 booster here and, while the wait was longer than I'd hoped given I had an appointment, it was pretty efficient. It's located inside Target which confused me at first when trying to find it. A fantastic pharmacist gave me my shot so can't complain there! read more

Hold times on the phone take forever, constant runaround given on when things will be filled. Half convinced at this point they are lying to not fill my prescription. I understand Seattle is full of drug addicts, but I just want to go to sleep at night and have relief from the symptoms as MY DOCTOR prescribed. Your job as a pharmacist is to fill the prescription that my doctor gave me. Do your job! read more

I can't say enough bad things about CVS pharmacy, not just this location. I have had terrible experiences, they screw up prescriptions. It has been three weeks that I have been waiting for them to fix their screw up. Plus you wait forever on hold to try to get issues resolved. I am sick to death of the recordings. This place should not be in business. Filling peoples prescriptions incorrectly is dangerous, and they don't work at fixing the problem. read more

This is definitely my go to pharmacy for everything! I really, really enjoy it. The staff is super nice. Audrey, Tara, and the many others. They are always super helpful about explaining meds, helping you get prior authorizations, etc. If you are looking for OTC products, there is a limited selection. They are very fast at getting your prescriptions filled as well. Highly recommend if your looking for good customer service and efficiency! I was at CVS in TN before moving here and this one is so much better! :) read more

I picked up a new prescription today and wasn't expecting it to cost $50 because I have expensive insurance. The woman helping me looked up the generic price, which was only a few $ less and suggested I look for a coupon. So I told them to hold it for me and that I'd see if I could get a coupon or a different script or whatever. I looked for a coupon on my phone while wandering around in Target and decided to just get it and deal with the cost issue later. I think she put back the original item I filled. So when I came back she asked whether I wanted the generic or brand name I said to give me the brand name and walked away bc it was going to be like 10 minutes. Then I realized the generic would be cheaper so I walked back and apologized and said I wanted that. Honestly, I have adhd and I'm a little slow on the uptake at times (I was picking up a new adhd medication ironically). Also, I was getting confused because I don't know if she put the original item back or what was going on. Plus I just get overwhelmed going into big box stores. So basically, I was being a pain in the ass but I really wasn't trying to be-I'm just mental. Anyway the pharmacist jumped in and explained that they needed to refill it and that they could get either kind as long as I wasn't in a rush. Then she helped me find a coupon online that brought the price down to $25 within like 2 minutes of us talking. Meanwhile, they're getting a million phone calls and you could tell they were very busy. I just wanted to write this because I really appreciated that she jumped in to help even though they were really busy and I was being an unintentional pain in the ass. I especially appreciate the people at that pharmacy because it's in Target at Pike Place which is probably one of the most terrible places in all of Seattle. Right now, the store seems quiet bc of the pandemic, but it's usually absolutely packed with tourists and terrifying homeless people on meth. I hate going there but it's the only Target near my neighborhood. Every time I pick up a prescription I feel so bad for the people who work there and the target employees because I'm sure it's a nightmare for them. The pharmacy staff is always so nice to me whenever I go. I know they're always busy and dealing with all the crazy people streaming through that target but they remain professional which is very much appreciated. read more

I've been using this pharmacy since April 2017, after our move from Los Angeles. I am extremely happy with the level of service I receive here! On my most recent visit, I was particularly impressed when the pharmacist helped me by finding a manufacturers coupon for the prescription I was picking up, which would have otherwise cost me $278 out of pocket! It goes to show that the pharmacy staff here truly cares about their customers. read more

My pharmacy closed and my account was transferred to this location. I will be transferring my account on Monday, because wow this has been a TERRIBLE experience. Call to refill a prescription? Terrible phone interface that takes ages. You have three pills left of a prescription? Phone tree says it's due for refill in five days. Arrive at the pharmacy? No, you can't have it until tomorrow, per insurance. Hint: my insurance has always let me pick up prescriptions up to a week in advance, not two days before I run out. When voicing complaints to the cashier? "Oh, it's not our fault. It's your insurance." On their regular pill bottles being near-impossible to open? "Oh, yeah, we've heard they're difficult." I have CTS in both hands and recovering from surgery in one, and I literally had to use a letter opener to break the lids off the bottles, because they take superhero strength to try and open. Heaven help you if you're elderly. On the phone tree? "Oh, we're not responsible for that." On the phone tree saying a prescription is due to be refilled *after* I run out of pills? "Oh, we're not responsible for that." You know what? Your poor attitude is responsible for me switching pharmacies after less than two months. Is it a challenge to say "I'm sorry you've had issues with the way our system works" or "I'll pass your feedback along to corporate" or to offer some kind of solution? Apparently so, because she sure as hell wouldn't apologize or acknowledge that there is any issue with their system, nor offer any attempt at a solution. And the prescription CVS sent me a text to pick up? It's not even the one I need soonest -- because I have 2-3 weeks left of the one I picked up today (and I hadn't requested it). So, I can't have the pills I need in three days, but you refill a prescription I don't need for three weeks. Yeah, that's super useful and logical. I never thought getting a prescription filled could be such a PITA, but CVS Target has sure made it one. Do NOT recommend in the slightest. I'm going back to Bartell's, which has always been wonderful and easy. read more
