I really don't understand the hate on this CVS. The deals are just like any other CVS. There are not that many druggies standing outside unlike other places in the greater Seattle area. Have always had good interactions with customer service here. Couponing + CVS means that you can get a lot of your essentials for over 60-70% off if you game it right - this location has been very efficient in allowing me to do just that! read more

Pretty disappointed with cvs pharmacy. I booked an appointment 2 weeks in advance for a flu shot. I come in and they tell me that all of the flu shots for the entire week were cancelled by corporate. Kind of frustrating because they sent me 3 text messages confirming my appointment including a text the day before sending me a check-in confirmation for when I arrive. Maybe, it's their system, but if there was a way to notify customers that there appointment was cancelled that would save everybody the hassle and trip out to the pharmacy. They also won't rebook for you when you're there, they say you can only do it online. To save myself the hassle, I'll just book with someone else. read more

What even is this CVS? So if you've ever seen an apocalyptic zombie movie, this CVS would fit right in. It's like early days of the pandemic - beauty section almost entirely empty, entire shelves totally cleared out. I've never seen anything like it. Because there was only one person working at the store (aside from a pharmacist and a security guard), even if you push the button for help for locked items, no one responds, so some items just aren't able to be purchased. I ended up doing self checkout for the other items, but suffice it to say, we don't plan to come back. read more

I can't give CVS any stars. I was totally disgusted by their introduction from Bartells to their service. They sent me a text that my Rx was ready for pickup, even before I filled out any transfer forms. When I went in to get my Rx they were charging me 7x what I paid Bartells!! They conveniently didn't request insurance coverage information, hoping they could gouge you and you would willingly pay their exorbitant price because you needed your med/s. Shame on them! The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing at this pharmacy. Pharmacy manager makes no attempt to properly own issues to completion. Nobody answers the phone. Pharmacy staff flat leave untruthful voicemail messages when asked about prescription status. If you want to waste half a day "getting the run around" for a prescription this is the place for you. read more

This is genuinely the worst experience I've had at any business, not just a pharmacy. I've had a number of sporadic 1ish week delays here getting my prescription filled, which is annoying but no huge deal. This is made more of a big deal by the fact that you can't reach actual humans at CVS over phone, as you're locked into their awful robocall. So any time you need to speak to someone, you need to go in person. They also recently have failed to fill a prescription for over thirty days (and counting). At no point did they call to give an update on this delay, it was only complete silence. Only after the THIRD time I went in person did they say anything other then "I'm sure we can fill it soon" and that was "screw you, we might not even be able to get you your incredibly important medicine for another month, guess you'd just better call every other pharmacy in the city." I've never seen a business so grossly negligent, apathetic, and intentionally unwilling to communicate. At this point I'm wondering how they possibly became a legally accredited pharmacy, since they clearly have no interest in actually dispensing prescriptions. You'd be better off trying to manufacture your prescription yourself. read more

Pharmacist filled medication with 1/2 the prescribed dose (disregarding the twice per day and quantity 60 on the prescription and giving only 30 pills). Consistently terrible customer service, long lines, general incompetence. Watch out for the new pharmacist, does not fill prescriptions as ordered. Very dangerous. read more

If I can give negative stars I would. This CVS location is horrible! I called in my prescription one week ago and when I called to confirm they mentioned that they will process the order. So, what is the purpose of having an online prescription service if they can't even fulfill a process in this method. When I called this morning, the pharmacist mentioned that he was too busy to order the prescription. This is horrible customer service. So I reminded him these are patients he is dealing with and just because he's busy and he is working alone he is unable to order my prescription. Then look for backup. Obviously, the manager does not know how to strategically employee and their shifts. Last time I came, there were 2 people working in the pharmacy and when I came to pick up my rx they gave me the wrong RX. They are very unprofessional, irresponsible, and disrespectful. I hope the FDA can audit this CVS as they are doing many things wrong! read more

I had placed an order for insulin here months ago while on a business trip. I went to refill the prescription in the CVS app and even picked my local pharmacy where I lived. Unfortunately the order still went to this pharmacy which is on the other side of the country. Not much I can do to get my insulin if it is placed at the wrong pharmacy accept call and have them fix the problem. Wrong! The pharmacy does NOT answer calls during hours that the pharmacy is open. What? You heard me right. I spent two days Saturday and Sunday trying to call them only to find out that they do not answer pharmacy calls on the weekend even though they are open. How do I know this? I spoke to the front store manager who told me that the pharmacy will not answer calls on the weekend. That is the most absurd thing I have heard in a long time. I told this to my local CVS pharmacy and they never heard of such a thing. I have had problems where my prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy location before. Each time I have had to have the pharmacy return the prescription so that I can place it at another pharmacy. Fortunately I called my local CVS and they were able to fix things for me. My local CVS pharmacy wasn't able to do this before but glad they could today. CVS, I am sorry that the pharmacists at your West Lake Seattle location are so put out that answering the phone on the weekends during pharmacy hours is such a bother and inconvenience. It is not like people rely on them to provide life saving medication. Oh wait, they do. People rely on your pharmacy service and pay good money as well. The pharmacist working on 11/30/2021 was so awful to me. I needed something over the counter and preferred to purchase it with a medical professional. As I placed it on the counter she yelled "please take that downstairs!!" And backed away from me. I felt mortified and embarrassed. I just froze up and went to self checkout. I never leave bad reviews and I don't want to be this person but she was absolutely terrible and it just upset me because this is a convenient location. I didn't know that OTC drugs couldn't be purchased at the Pharmacist counter. Who would have thought. read more

2-story Walgreens. Nice condition as it appears fairly new. Gone here a few times and was always able to find what I needed--- today was travel size shaving cream and shower scrubber. Somewhat limited amount of snack foods but that's about it. read more

Came to this CVS to get an at home test for strep as google says CVS can provide. I waited 25 min just to get overlooked and 5 people usher in front of me. Unless there is a spoken rule about pick ups being seen before consults then it must just be me out of the loop. So when I finally was seen, i was told that what I wanted was not available. Not a problem I ended up going to urgent care. Urgent care then gave me a prescription and said I was able to get it filled anywhere so back to CVS I went since it was closest to my house. This time I walked to the consult window. Then went to the drop off window and made eye contact with the Pharmacist. He continued with whatever work he had behind the counter while the other pharmacist tended to the individual that came up AFTER me at the pick up window. I went to that window after she was done and asked what window I was supposed to stand at and she said the consultation one. So back i go and i waited there for another 10 min. 33 min of standing there just for them to tell me that they do not have Penicillin in stock. read more

For a long time, a smallish Bartell's was our only drugstore option in SLU. Then, with much fanfare, a CVS finally opened! And... I'm still shopping at Bartell's. The location, on Westlake at Republican, is certainly convenient for SLU office workers. The two-story layout, I hoped, meant it would have a much bigger selection than Bartell's, which can be pretty limited. Downstairs is snacks and drinks, while upstairs is the pharmacy, medicine, and beauty products. The interior of the store is oddly depressing. With dingy floors, pegboard shelves, and bad lighting, it looked sad and run-down from the day it opened, especially on the ground floor. The upstairs is bigger and nicer, although it also feels a little claustrophobic with high shelves and narrow aisles. I've never been greeted or asked if I needed help by any employees. CVS is a national chain, and it definitely shows in their inventory. Where Bartell's, a local chain, heavily features local food and products, CVS just has the same national brands you'd find anywhere. That's fine if you need cotton balls or a bottle of water, but a lot less interesting to browse through. The prices are typical for SLU, that is, 10-20% more than you'd pay elsewhere -- and you have to belong to their rewards program to get sale prices. CVS does have a larger selection of cosmetics/beauty products and greeting cards than Bartell's, if you're specifically looking for that. Between the grim interior, higher prices, and run-of-the-mill selection, I'm not that impressed with this CVS. I'd rather shop at a local business like Bartell's that supports other local companies by making it a priority to carry their products. read more

Never open when it's supposed to be. Consistently closed before 8pm when it's supposed to be open until 10, no updated hours posted anywhere. Watched an employee repeatedly yell (actual yelling, no exaggeration) at a customer who came in at 7:45 because she wanted to close. I understand the pains of staffing shortages but is that really an excuse to yell at customers walking into an open store? read more

We went to the CVS store at 503 westlake ave for two passport size photos (sweden and canada). The customer rep in charge was Jadea-Lexus. She denied us the digital copy after taking the photo. The rationale presented by the rep was that they have only two usb drives and would like to keep the last usb drive for another customer. Jadea was extremely unprofessional, rude, and inappropriate in her conversation. Since were the first customer, she should have ideally completed our order. On requesting to connect with her upper management, she lied and was yelling in front of other customers. As frequent customers of CVS, it was a disheartening and a horrible experience. Keeping customer service in mind, having reps like Jadea in charge is making the experience unpleasant. Will ensure to never visit this CVS store. read more

I went there again the next day and she treated me like an I owe millions of dollars to her. It's her fault not mine, she just did nothing and force me to leave and go to Safeway! This is a newly opened CVS on Westlake Ave. in South Lake Union. Nice convenient location, but they clearly have issues to sort out. I placed an order for online prints on Sunday at 4:30 PM, and received an order confirmation saying that my prints would be ready for pick up later that evening after 6 PM. I go to the store on Monday morning at 9:40 AM before work, and my prints aren't ready. Apparently, I was told that my order "just came in." Pretty obvious, but clearly they don't print out the photos until you come in to pick them up. This is a problem if you place a large order of prints. I can see this situation repeating itself: You go in and expect them to be ready a certain time and are told you have to wait 30 or 40 minutes or whatever it is for the prints to actually be printed. Now, I guess they don't want to print out the prints until you arrive because what happens if a customer orders prints and never picks them up (you don't pay until you pickup)? But, if that's the case, don't advertise the prints as being ready for pick up when they clearly aren't ready. Unfortunately I didn't pickup the prints (since they weren't ready as I was told they would be) and have no idea as to the quality as I had to leave CVS to get to work. read more

This is solely based on the pharmacists: they are amazing! So friendly and knowledgeable and their follow up is great! I haven't purchased much at the rest of the store and the retail staff is fine but I specifically choose to fill my prescriptions here for the pharmacists. read more

I needed a toenail clipper and no one tried to help me find it. It turns out they were out of them and only had them in a 12.99 pack of nail care (no toenail clippers but fingernail clippers) the cashier called the manager who said she thought they were out of them. If you need something small that can't be carried on planes I wouldn't go here they probably are out of it. read more
