Looking for postcards in Seattle, Washington…read more.. I searched Target/CVS pharmacy nearby - in downtown - but couldn't find any. Since Walgreens was within sight, I decided to check it out. There were none in the greeting cards aisle and none near the souvenir t-shirts. I asked the Security Guard and he suggested Aisle 4... Nope. That's the beverage aisle. I thought that I should check Aisle 1 since I looked in every other aisle... Of course the post cards were there! The last place was the winner! I grabbed a bunch and waited in line to pay. The customers ahead of me didn't have their wallets out and one woman had questions about a gift card. I give these store clerks credit... challenging customers test your patience... LOL! I just wanted to hurry outta there because I wasn't sure if I was in a free parking space on the street or not!

Maybe it's the open air drug market in front of it. Or maybe it's the fact that the last 2 times…read moreI've gone they've been short staffed except for rent-a-security guards who don't seem to be securing much of anything. Maybe it was the appointment I made with the pharmacist for a vaccine and when I showed up the pharmacy was boarded up and there were 14 people waiting and the pharmacy assistant screamed "there's no pharmacist! Apparently one will eventually show up." Spoiler: they didn't. Or maybe it was today when I tried again to get a vaccine. I made an appointment, showed up early, checked in and there was so much spit on the plexiglass between me and the pharmacist that she was literally blurry. At one point an assistant made eye contact with me, made a gun out of her fingers and pretended to shoot her self in the head. So yeah - this place is a stain on the Walgreens brand and our downtown. I'd rather drive to another pharmacy than walk to this one on my neighborhood.

From the first time I went to pick up my prescription AFTER receiving a text notification stating it was ready, I was forced to wait close to 30 minutes because it was in fact not ready for pick up, to this month needing to confirm that my prescription was able to be filled because the pharmacist told me I may need a prior auth - However there is ZERO number you can call as a patient and actually get through to speak to a person. You are forced to share all of your private information with an AI chat bot and then once you've made it through all the AI hoops you have to jump through, the ONLY option for patients is to leave a voicemail to which you will NEVER get called back. As someone who works in healthcare with cancer patients who need a reliable pharmacy with decent human beings working at it I would NEVER recommend to one of my patients that they put their life in the hands of these lazy, rude, couldn't care less about patient people at CVS Pharmacy inside of Target on 2nd Ave in Seattle. PS... Lets not forget that simply based on the location any person who walks into the store et large is treated like a drug addled homeless person.

The CVS Pharmacy, located within Target on 2nd and Pike, is a really good pharmacy. My prescription was ready within an hour or so after my doctor sent it in. I then went to pick it up and there was no line, so I was in and out very fast. The service was friendly as well.

Every one of the pharmacists and staff have been incredibly helpful, patient, and kind. Once, when I had to begin using an inhaler, the pharmacist spent at least 10 minutes making sure I actually understood how to take the medication correctly. Highest praise for these folks. My sole encouragement is for them to find a way to open on weekends too. Otherwise, A+ .

Before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, they would mail me a 90-day supply of my prescription medication at no cost, so I didn't have to deal with the staff! However, post-COVID, they provided a questionable rationale for instituting a $5 charge for mailing a 30-day supply and discontinued the option for 90-day refills!! More recently, an error occurred in processing my order. They overrode a 30-day refill for Dec with a 90-day refill that was meant to go into effect in Jan during my travels! I was casually informed something in the tune of, Oh - since your doctor sent a 90-day refill request, we cancelled your previous 30-day refill, and now you can't receive another 30-day refill without paying as you've run out of your co-pay assistance, and too bad if you run out of your prescription while you're on your travels in remote parts of the world... so sorry, we can't do anything even as we messed up, but you should talk to your doctor or your insurance!! This incident prompted my decision to transition to a different pharmacy that resolved the issue around co-pay and had my Rx ready for pick up within 2-hrs!! While I acknowledge that they may not be a RX giant, I agree with the issues previously highlighted by another reviewer: this place has "Rude workers and lousy customer service." Like them, I have chosen not to return to this pharmacy.

I have finally found my forever pharmacy!…read more I had been a customer of Bartell's for many, many years, and was bummed when Rite Aid bought them and more-or-less put them out of business. It took a long while to find a replacement pharmacy, especially one that would honor my insurance. (The latter bit ended up being surprisingly difficult!). Anyway, no problems transferring my prescription to their shop. Their staff walked me through the process and were very helpful. They honored my insurance, so my regular prescription cost me nothing (as it had at Bartell's). Staff was helpful on the phone and in person. I think a lot of people are transferring prescriptions to Katterman's since the pharmacy staff seemed slammed when I went in. But no problems, they took the time to help me. Only confusing bit: you pick up the prescription at a counter at the back of the store, where the pharmacists work. You then take it up to the front counter to "pay" for it, even if you have no co-pay. I think I understand the process now, but the two-step process seemed a little odd (since, again, I owed nothing). But everyone was helpful, so no worries! My new pharmacy! What a relief to have one, and for it to be a nice little local shop.

I love Katterman's! If you are missing Bartell, give Katterman's a try.
