This is my neighborhood Walgreens. It's helped in a pinch quite a few times so I can't be too…read moreharsh. The only thing that gets me about this location is the SERVICE. They're usually pretty nice, but damn, they are sloooow. I've been here to send/receive money via Western Union and it's always a super tedious process. Then again, I'm apart of the generation that's tethered to Venmo and Cashapp, so maybe my millennial heart just needs to sit down and eat some avocado toast to settle my nerves. Service aside, the bathrooms here are terribly dirty. Do not use unless you might actually go on yourself. All that aside, I truly do love Walgreens. They've got cool products you won't typically find other places and they're awesome for shopping for small gifts (Valentine's Day, Easter, etc. - always a great selection). I mean, it's a Walgreens. You're gonna go when you need to.

I was shopping at this Walgreens about 45 minutes ago when I had to suddenly run out to the parking…read morelot because of an emergency involving my dog. I left the items I intended to purchase in the first aisle, which is covered by security cameras, so it would have been easy to verify what happened. When I returned to finish shopping for urgent medical supplies my boyfriend needed, the manager, who introduced himself as "Jaja" Omar (pronounced "Ya-Ya" Omar), immediately accused me of stealing, threatened to call the police, and ordered me to put my items down and leave the store. I did not steal anything. Instead of checking the security footage, he refused to investigate and chose to publicly accuse and embarrass me. I was a paying customer trying to complete a legitimate purchase, yet I was treated like a criminal without any evidence. This was one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I've ever had. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and given the benefit of a proper investigation before being falsely accused. I will not be returning to this location, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend shopping here.

Bartell is dying and it really shows. I came in here looking for two things: face soap and a button…read morebattery. I found my face soap and the price seemed really high so I asked my magic pocket box. Turns out it is expensive - $4 more than anywhere else. Threw that in my Amazon cart and kept moving. Found the battery section and...it's basically empty. Guess we're throwing that in my Amazon cart, too. At that point I decided to just kinda walk around and yeah...the number of empty spaces on the shelves are very telling. I won't waste my time here again. I will say though, if you're looking for Seattle/Washington tourist trinkets they have a really cute selection!

When I finally got to the register they'd filled my prescription for an incorrect dosage. Then they said they could fill the correct dosage, but it would take another fifteen minutes. I declined. Since the pharmacy manager offered me a weak apology and excuse, I tried calling the 800 number after I left. I got a recording saying their call center was closed. Then it had the gaul to ask me to take a survey after that. This place was bad to begin with and has gotten worse since Rite-Aid bought them. (The Bartell 800 # routes to Rite-Aid CS.)

But it's kinda kinda sketchy for some reason. The pharmacy has always been a complete fustercluck. Like other reviews have said, it's a dumpster fire. I used to fill prescriptions here about a decade ago and stopped because it was real bad. Recently I filled one here because they were the only pharmacy nearby that had a medication in stock. That one experience went okay, so I figured I'd start using them again. Well, every other experience went sideways after that. I called and got put on hold and gave up after sitting there for over 20 minutes. I called back and asked for a manager and then got hung up on. Twice. When I finally got an assistant manager the third time they told me they couldn't check the other Walgreens to see if they had a medication I needed. When I called their 800 number directly after that the person I spoke to told me that was literally their job. When I called the CVS down the street they did a check for all stores in a 20 mile radius for stock for me instantaneously. So maybe update your systems Walgreens?

Looking for postcards in Seattle, Washington…read more.. I searched Target/CVS pharmacy nearby - in downtown - but couldn't find any. Since Walgreens was within sight, I decided to check it out. There were none in the greeting cards aisle and none near the souvenir t-shirts. I asked the Security Guard and he suggested Aisle 4... Nope. That's the beverage aisle. I thought that I should check Aisle 1 since I looked in every other aisle... Of course the post cards were there! The last place was the winner! I grabbed a bunch and waited in line to pay. The customers ahead of me didn't have their wallets out and one woman had questions about a gift card. I give these store clerks credit... challenging customers test your patience... LOL! I just wanted to hurry outta there because I wasn't sure if I was in a free parking space on the street or not!

The shelves were bare; I was surprised to see so little stuff. I found water, but they didn't have the energy drink I wanted, so I had to get something else. That wasn't the only problem. There were two security guards who kept watching me as I walked around (even though I was wearing business clothes and clearly wasn't stealing anything). I get that security is important in the downtown areas of cities, but being followed while just trying to figure out what to get with the horrible selection felt weird and a little insulting. I had a backpack, but I didn't think I needed that much attention. On top of that, there were two guys doing drugs right in front of the store windows. I know the store can't control what happens outside, but it made the whole place feel really uncomfortable, especially at 9:00 in the morning. I know a lot of cities in the Pacific Northwest have problems with drugs, and some stores are still having trouble after the pandemic. But not even having basic things in stock, plus the security following me, and the drug use right outside made it a bad experience. This place gets one star, not just because of what was happening outside, but because they didn't even have the stuff I needed. It's a sad situation, and I hope it gets better.
