It offers an amazing ambiance, with a section for people to advertise their own business which shows that this coffee shop doesn't just care about their own and helps others. The staff is very kind and nice to talk to. Their items may be pricey but 100% reflected by what you get from the quality which includes the pastries. I can't wait to try more! read more

I was so excited to find a real local coffee shop that I absolutely love. There is something about getting an expresso in a real cup. They have my drink, a cabano. It's not on the menu but they have no problem making it for me. My only complaint is I don't go often enough. Definitely have to try a sandwich one of these days. read more

My family and I wanted to try a different place for coffee instead of going to our faithful location. We saw this place and went to it without ready any reviews (we found them on IG). Unfortunately, we were not fans of the syrups that were used for the lattes. It was really sweet and there was no salvaging it due to the syrup. I couldn't really make out the flavor of the coffee so I can't speak on behalf of their espresso. We were really disappointed and felt like it was a waste of money. We didn't take any pictures of our drinks or pastries (we were not impressed with it). The location is really nice, tables inside and outside. The service was good, I wouldn't say they were rude or exceptionally nice, just good. read more

The visit I'm reviewing was March 16th. I have been here many times and have always had good even great service. Today was a different story. It was a Sunday so it was a bit crowded and I'm totally ok with that. This place is usually good so I get it. The person that took my order was not friendly at all. In fact kinda rude. However they were very friendly to the customers before me. So after I placed my order they informed me there was an ice shortage and I ordered an iced coffee.... Ok I'll be ok with that I guess. Then the person that took my order proceeded to make drinks. They made a couple then it was my turn. When they called out my name there was absolutely no eye contact and almost seemed mad. I've gone to Rise n Brew several times, and it has been good so far. Today I got my decaf mocha coffee with an everything bagel with sausage and egg. My bagel was burnt, just burnt. I did not notice this obviously until I went to work; by then I could not go back and ask for either a new one or a refund. I was not happy. The odd thing is if she saw that it was burnt, why did she go ahead and continue making my sandwich? You could see it was burnt. Apologize for the delay and make another one. I have worked in food service for a very long time and this should have not been given to a customer whatsoever! I never would serve food as such for my customers. Rating no stars! read more

They need people who can understand English and communicate. I asked for a matcha the guy points at the hot sizes I said small, he proceeded and said he'll add vanilla I said that was fine lightly sweetened. 15 mins later for one drink, he makes a cold iced matcha and I told him already when I saw him prep a different cold matcha I wanted Hot he told me it was another order, he made mine cold still then remade Or hot but it was lukewarm- And tasted like just milk I asked for more matcha to be added. We stopped in here a week ago and enjoyed some beverages. It was a Sunday morning and the day after their grand opening, but thankfully it wasn't too busy. I ordered a small decaf vanilla latte and my husband ordered a regular caramel macchiato. Both were tasty, and we found a table in the patio to sit and relax. The patio is shaded during the morning hours, which was so nice in the summer heat. The two baristas working were kind, and they answered any questions we had. Was really hoping for a great coffee spot in Turlock. Ordered a lavender Latte and a simple syrup Latte, both the shots were extracted improperly and beans were not fresh. Pastries were in a case with prepped produce so I passed on even trying one. Not impressed and won't be back. read more

The ambiance of this great little shop made me feel cozy and welcome as soon as I stepped in here, for the very first time. What a great alternative to the bigger, corporate franchises! Everything about this place is excellent. I love the location. The decor is expected (maybe a little too expected), and the hours of operation are generous. What I especially found wonderful were the delightful people working behind the counter. They were so happy to have me in their shop and made very good recommendations, which I enjoyed. I went to Rise N Brew on a Thursday afternoon. The environment is super quiet, and relaxing. The iced coffee was amazing.

The place is nice and clean. Staff seems nice. I got an iced latte and it tasted good. I just wish there was more ice in my drink. when I got home which was 5 mins away most of my ice was gone. I like my iced drinks cold, cold. I also got a pastry which was $5.50! A croissant the size of my palm! However it was delicious. It was buttery and crisp. read more
