The food was great. The tiramisu was fresh, one of the best I have had in a long long time! The drinks were pretty good too - I tried the Frida Khalo latte and I liked it. The place is kind of small and crowded - hard to find seats. The service was meh - no smiles or warm welcome feeling. We had 5 people in our group and the cashier kept asking "is that it?" , "is that it?" , "is that it?" after every item we ordered. I felt rushed and a bit uncomfortable. There wasn't even a line fer her to be rushing us like that. We sat outside and it was fine. I'll probably go back if I am in the area since the food was so good, and just expect cold service.

I stopped in before a hair appointment and it was so cute! I got a cute little valentines heart cinnamon roll for my stylist (hoping it was just as tasty as cute) and I think a cupids bow as the drink. It has a yummy raspberry cold foam. The girl who made it ( I didn't get her name) was so sweet and did such a good job. Some good ambiance and decor. So CUTE. Thanks Rise n Brew!

I decided to stop by on a whim before heading to the farmers market in town since my sister is a fan of this shop. I had some high hopes coming in and was a little disappointed with the service. When we walked in, there was no acknowledgement from any of the baristas at the counter. They kept their conversation going while my sister and I looked at their menu. We decided on what we wanted and it still took a moment for someone to come over. We ordered an Americano and cold brew (added hazelnut and vanilla). Our drinks were good but service was just disappointing. The inside of the shop was nice but it was really cold in there. I might check them out again, maybe it'll be better next time.

Discovered this cozy little coffee shop and I'm so glad I did! The atmosphere is perfect for hanging out or getting some work done, with a chill vibe and just the right background music. Huge shout-out to the barista for curating a great playlist - it really added to the experience. I wasn't sure what to get, so I asked for a suggestion. I really appreciated that the barista took the time to ask me if I was looking for something more coffee-forward, and recommended a drink that was absolutely delicious. It was strong and gave me just the boost I needed - perfect for a midday pick-me-up! I'm already planning my next visit to try their Americano. Definitely a place I'll be returning to for both the coffee and the atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Ambiance here is the best.

The staff at Rise and Brew are helpful and have the best energy. I've only visited two times, and the bagel (spicy cream cheese) is delicious. I made an error with my coffee order, but the ladies were quick to help and make it better for me. I brought a book and my journal with me, and it was a relaxing hour to my day. Definitely coming back and soon.

Holy adorable! This place is soooo cute! The staff is so friendly, and it smells amazing! Cute seating area, very comfy and cozy. The bagel sandwich was delish! Pricey? Eh a bit. Worth it? 100%.

Cozy little place tucked into a plaza. The decor is very modern and they have a great variety of specialty drinks. My coffee had cinnamon, mocha syrup, and macadamia nut. They also have a tiramisu latte and crème brûlée latte that I am eager to try. The churro donut tasted exactly like a churro, and the fact that they warm it up, made it even nicer. The staff is also nice.

Delicious!

A Hidden Gem for Coffee Lovers Best Baristas in town! So kind, patient, attentive and with a great smile. The baristas were honestly one of the best parts, always friendly and clearly passionate about customer service and coffee! I stumbled upon this coffee shop by accident and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I stepped inside, the ambience hit me: warm lighting, cozy seating, and a subtle playlist that made it feel like I was walking into a friend's beautifully curated living room. It's the kind of place that instantly makes you want to slow down and stay a while. I ordered a macchiato and it was perfection. Rich, smooth espresso with velvety foam, clearly made by someone who knows their craft. Their pastries are delicious! Molto buono!

I LOVE Rise N Brew!!! Hands-down a 10/10!!! My fiancé and I highly recommend getting their Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso!! This coffee shop has the BEST coffees we have ever had, made by the most kind and sweet baristas we have ever met!! Music, ambiance, decor - everything is on point! If we lived closer, we would seriously come every single day! Every food item is also really delicious and we especially really love the Apple Pastry, Churro Donut, Chocolate Chip Cookie, and Cheese Danish!! (My other favorite drink is the Tiramisu Latte, plus also the seasonal drinks: Pumpkin Pie Latte and Pumpkin Chai Latte! Really though, you cannot go wrong regardless of what you try! - Make sure you follow them on Instagram too: risenbrewcoffee)

Eve was absolutely amazing her vibrant energy truly brightened my morning. I instantly trusted her recommendations, and she suggested I try the pistachio warmed croissant paired with her signature drink called Eve. I normally prefer black coffee, but I decided to take a leap of faith with her suggestion. She delivered beyond expectations in every aspect, making it a five star experience all around. Thank you, Eve, for such a delightful start to my day!

My go to coffee place when im in Turlock. Finally. Real coffee house that has cozy chairs, couches, and a bar top so there is plenty of seating. The girls working are always so kind and even fulfill my request when I was difficult and requested the pumpkin shaped mug!

First time in Turlock, had to try out the most popular brunch spot in town. I get why it's busy,…read morebut I wouldn't go again unless it was off peak time. Got there at 11am, had to wait about 1.5 hours for a table, even then waited about 30 mins for food. The shrimp quesadilla was good, but felt like an appetizer size. Also, they were out of their pumpkin pancakes (which was the reason we came) The coffee was fantastic though. Food: 4 Service: 3 Ambiance: 3.5 Marcels foodie score: 3.5

Came to La Mo for brunch since the SO and I were running errands in Turlock for the day and I…read morewanted to try somewhere new. I'm really glad we did because I enjoyed our meal. For a Saturday, we waited about 40 minutes for a table. They will text your phone when a table is ready. Their space is an indoor/outdoor courtyard area that I thought was super cute. Except for the flies that were bothersome during our meal. We ordered: Maple pecan latte - this had a nice autumn flavor, but I wished it wasn't so light/had more coffee flavor. Breakfast burrito with machaca - SO loved this and really enjoyed the flavor of the machaca. Also the burrito was hefty, the SO could only finish half. Chicken and waffles - this is only served on Saturdays I believe. Great texture to the cornmeal waffles and the chicken had a good crunchy exterior. I stole the SO's salsa to dip the chicken in. Service was fine - nothing too crazy. The black coffee we ordered had the same taste and consistency of the coffee leftover at the bottom of the carafe after a boring All-Hands meeting... it was definitely strong! Also I wasn't sure on the refill policy on the coffee since the one mug of it cost almost $5. Our total came to about $60, which in this economy is AIGHT I guess. I wouldn't mind coming back to try their other food options.
