It took four times of going between 5:30 and 5:45 just to get there and they are closed. Advertised to be open until 6. Just happened again today. One car at the drive up window at 5:45. We couldn't use the drive through because we have a dually. So we tried to walk in but the door was locked. A minute later a gal came out with drinks. Please change your hours of operation to reflect the actual hours you want to be open. I so was wanting to get a drink, it's frustrating to make the drive to find out you are closed. I must have called a half a dozen different times and no one answers the phone. I called today, if someone would have answered the phone I may have not given a negative review. read more

I went to try beans today for the first time and will definitely be coming back! The staff were very kind and very helpful on what to get. Diasy was definitely the greatest help, down from making sure my drink was what I wanted to even taking her time to ask if I wanted any snacks since I was there for a while. The only negative thing I have to say is that it was extremely hot in there... and you can tell staff and another costumer were uncomfortable with the heat. Turn on the AC your employees deserve it! First time in absolutely love this establishment. You are welcomed when you come in. I got the frosted gingerbread latte it was AMAZINGGGGGGG. Was not super sweet or strong was just rite and the perfect pick me up. The bonus plus is the drive thru like how can you go wrong great coffee everything is fresh their cookies looked amazing and they have wrap and breakfast sandwiches I wish I lived closer to come everyday. Use to love this place, but last cpl visits have been bad, pulled up to speaker to order and sat there for like 5 min and nothing so pull forward to window thinking speaker broke and nobody in line and saw people inside doing things they looked right at me and never acknowledged or came to window, then i heard them taking orders on speaker behind me so i just left other coffee places thatcwill take my money. The time b4 that was similer but not that bad. Geesh if your busy cool but acknowledge and say "be right with you" just rude not to even pretend to see you or say anything. Delightful, cozy find that also has a drive-through. This is a tiny place that can get very, very busy, so bring your patience. There are comfortable chairs and random books to keep you entertained, whether you have a long wait for your latte or want to settle in and enjoy being out of the house. The medium coffee would be a large at many places. It's about what I expect from indie coffeehouse plain coffee: it's strong and bold, but not as brash as c-store coffee. If you like your coffee mellow, get a latte to tone it down. My danish had either been heated too long (I asked for it unheated, but it was warm in its bag, so I think it went through a toaster) or had gotten a tad stale, as it was crunchier and chewier than a danish ideally should be. However, the flavor choices are excellent! And honestly I'd order it again, because the almond danish had the flavor profile of a great danish: not to sweet, buttery, and loaded with almond goodness. read more

Bittersweet experience....literally. I am ALL about supporting small (I don't think it's a chain anyways) so when I visit my mom today I decided to give this place a go. I ordered an iced vanilla cold brew with cream. It was so bitter & did not taste like vanilla... (the bitter part). The sweet part was that 3 of the workers explained that their cold brew is extremely strong. One of the workers who was not on the clock took the time to help us figure out something that would work for us. Sadly it took 5 extra pumps of vanilla to make it taste remotely good. I'm not a sweet person & typically only get 2 pumps so the fact that it needed 5 extra pumps on top of the normal amount + 1/4 of the cup of cream shows how bitter it really is. The customer service was great... the coffee was mediocre. I'll try again & update at a later time read more

Have been going here for years. Love their spring blossom latte. I get it somewhere else, and it's just not as good.

I asked for a white hot chocolate with nonfat milk which is what I get almost every time I come before work. She repeated white chocolate mocha and I said no white hot chocolate. She said "it's the same thing, the mocha is a syrup and doesn't have coffee" I said ok. Get home and it's clearly a coffee. And I got TWO because I wanted my husband to try the white hot chocolate I always get. Now I'm stuck with two coffees I don't like. read more

If i could give ZERO stars I would. I am beyond frustrated this morning. This is not the first time this has happen to me and you think I would've learned my lesson the first time that it did happen to me. However I give people benefit of the doubt some days and I really shouldn't why every time I come to this coffee shop it is a different price for the same coffee that I'm ordering. Today I ended up paying $10 for this. Seems to me that it's a small but hey will call at medium. Do you guys just not know what you're doing how to price things because it clearly says on your app that a cold brew is like $3/$4. I ordered a cold brew medium with oat milk. I got an extra shot of espresso. Which I understand is a dollar and that's totally totally irrational but that's besides the point, oh my God in my cold brew was a pump of sugar-free vanilla and a pump of caramel why on gods earth is two flavored syrups one pump of each how is that an extra five dollars? And to top it off they didn't even put my caramel drizzle in my cup. I'm just a little irked right now... I highly recommend driving to the nearest Dutch broths or Starbucks rather than here. I guess they made up for it with this decent protien shake for free ONLY because a customer didn't want it. Smh. In the Waterford area, decided to check them out. Music is the oldies, ambiance is nice, modern little spot. Very clean as well! Service is very hospitable, of course that could be due to it being a small town, but it has a modern streak but home town feeling. 4 stars here! Their mocha almond cream is pretty spot on to what I had been hoping for! Not too sweet. If you want sweet and sugary, then try something different. The almond is light and not too overpowering, mocha doesn't overpower the coffee either! 4 star quality for sure! The apricot Danish was a little heavier than to my liking, but it could be because I'm not a huge Danish fan too. That was 3 stars. Over all a good experience, I would return! read more

Don't go here! Most unprofessional fast food place in Waterford. I ordered 2 caeser salads. They didn't put croutons, one of the salads had tomatos and the wrong chicken in it.. when I went back to tell them.. Jeff took the salad to the back and came back with the same salad. Looked like he hand picked the tomato out and he was so rude. I ended up throwing the salads in the trash. It didn't feel safe to eat. Do not go to this place! read more

Very very rude and unkind staff today 3/18/22. This is a new level of bad, last time they were rude I just simply didn't give my order told them no thank you never mind. Today was shocking how rude and then the guy at window seemed as though he hated that we ordered anything. We ordered two teas today. We have been going to beans for about 10 years, it is the only local coffee place but I never can trust the pricing or the quality of my orders. Before we use to order two protein packs the protein packs have had old eggs and they been leaving out the honey. Last time they left out the honey and the grapes. The grapes are one of the biggest parts. I called they said that I could come back and get the grapes I asked about the honey the girl said no they only do peanut butter but I have been getting them for past 6 years and they always came with peanut butter and honey. I used to use the honey on the ausie bites. The staff used to be nice but not consistent. The wait time is upward of 20 minutes if there are three or four cars in line due to low staffing. read more

I like Beans Coffee Co. and I am glad to have a place in town to turn to for my beloved specialty drinks. I live at least twenty minutes away from other options, and lately those "other options" have been disappointing more often than not. I am not a regular customer at Beans, but on the occasions when I have visited, nothing stood out as amazing or horrible, which I can appreciate. I would love to say I had an amazing experience there, but I'll certainly take mildly pleasant over horrible any day. I like the atmosphere inside the store, and the drive through is always fast, so I can be on my way. I've been frequenting this coffee shop almost daily since I moved to Waterford and never in my life have I been forced to use a drive-thru because the employees are scared to be at work alone. It's completely ridiculous that they can't staff 2 people first thing in the morning. Instead, you're inconvenienced by a note on the door, that you can't read from your vehicle, stating they won't open the doors until another employee arrives. Most of the staff is kind, but have we really reached a point in society where a coffee shop has to keep its cafe area closed until another employee arrives? Sounds like a copout.
