I am limiting my caffeine, and I'm realizing I don't need it like I thought "I needed it" and I'm so grateful for their menu options that have no caffeine or less caffeine and this drink is amazing, and it's pretty and it's purple too!! I also wanted a snack before I have dinner. I got this protein snack box from their grab area by their register. It has toasted crackers, salami, cheese, and artichoked dip. It's the perfect portion for an appetizer before dinner later, and the artichoke dip tastes like it was made from scratch! Yummy! Okay, I need to get my work done. Definitely, a must have drink and a great yummy snack. They have the best customer service anywhere. I've come here early in the morning when they're super busy. I've come in the afternoon and now i'm here at night. No matter what time of day you come always greeted with the warm smile. They even remember me by name... And I don't live in this town. I love it here. I love supporting family owned businesses in local communities and this is why!

The coffee doesn't have that acrid acidity (which means its got some cheap beans thrown in for heft), doesn't get that smokiness (which implies old beans a la Starbucks), just a smooth Coffee experience. yes the owner is picky about GREAT coffee and no you wont get a soy latter snicker doodle flavor in a "Venti" cup. But what you will get is coffee that you can smell from a mile away and a flavor that doesn't need any extra "stuff" to add complexity. Plus he sells coffee ground to your specifications (i.e. if you want coffee for a french press, a drip coffee machine or an expresso, or just want the beans). Did I mention that he makes each cup to order. Yup folks, when you ask for a coffee, he makes you a cuppa on a "pour over" coffee contraption while explaining his signature blend. What more could you ask for?

They carry a friendly personality with smiles on their faces. Inside has a swinging bench that is fun to sit on and enjoy your treat. Bathrooms are clean. Tables are clean, no ice cream stuck to the table. I think my only downside is the flies. Both my visits, there has been flies swarming me while I'm trying to eat. I'm constantly swapping them away. It's a bit annoying while trying to eat. Maybe a fan above the entrance to keep them from entering may help? Other than that, that would be my only complaint. I will always stop at House of Random whenever I'm in Turlock and need something to satisfy my sweet tooth. Definitely recommend
