The mimosas are fantastic, and the El Pueblo coffee drink is an absolute must-try. But what really makes this place special is the family that owns and runs it. They're as welcoming and genuine as it gets, and you always feel like you're coming back to a place where you're known and appreciated. For the prices being charged, customer service should be much better. A simple acknowledgment would have completely changed the experience. Instead, I left frustrated and disappointed. But what you will get is coffee that you can smell from a mile away and a flavor that doesn't need any extra "stuff" to add complexity. Plus he sells coffee ground to your specifications (i.e. if you want coffee for a french press, a drip coffee machine or an expresso, or just want the beans). The cookies were decent, but the boysenberry pocket really stood out: flaky, held together perfectly, and full of flavor. The ambiance was inviting, and I was pleasantly surprised to see they also offer a variety of sandwiches and other menu items.
