Sunrise Bakery might have been the unexpected star of our wedding. Our cake was absolutely perfect in every way. It was elegantly decorated and so fresh it tasted like it had been baked that morning. We received countless compliments from guests about how delicious and fresh it was. The ordering process was just as wonderful. We were given a tasting with all the different flavors which made choosing so fun. We went with a two tier wedding cake plus a full sheet cake and they were even able to do multiple flavors in one sheet which was such a great option. Delivery was included, everything arrived exactly as planned, and the price was unbelievably reasonable. Honestly they could easily charge double or triple for the quality and service we received. We ordered plenty to be safe and the leftovers were happily devoured by our family the next day. I cannot recommend Sunrise Bakery enough. They truly exceeded every expectation. read more

The cakes, slices, and puffs are really good, but the service is very bad. The lady with shoulder-length hair lied and told me she ONLY had .10-cent paper bags. Then, when I left and was surprised by the price balances because they had gone up, I went back because I forgot to buy more sweets for my friend. There is a dark-haired girl who gives absolutely the best service. When I bought my sweets, she said, do you want a plastic bag? I was like, I thought the other lady said you only had paper bags, which are .10 cents, and she was like, no, we also have plastic bags, which are free. That GOT ME sooo mad. They had so many different items in their glass cases from cakes, cookies, puff pastry's in single servings and also larger items for birthday party per say. We decided to grab a couple flavors of cake so we give them a try since it was our first time purchasing sweets from this location. We were not disappointed at all. All four cakes tasted amazing, each rich in its own flavor and decorated beautifully. The person who assembles these cakes takes pride in the final product because the layer on each of them was perfection. We purchased Vanilla slice Banana nut slice Confetti slice Napoleon Eclair Each slices ranged from 2.75-3.25 but very tasty and well portioned. The banana nut slice stole the show for us. The filling to the cake all complemented fantastic with each other. I will 100% recommend anyone's stop by and give this small operated bakery a try. I unfortunately didn't grab the person name who helped me with packing and paying for our sweets but she was very friendly and more than happy to wait while I called my husband to see what flavor cake he wanted. We worked with Diana to set up a tasting appointment in which we got to try different cake and filling types as well as to pick the size/tiers of cake. We picked a "naked" two tier cake with raspberry filling. Sunrise delivered to our venue right on time and the cake was both beautiful and delicious. Pricing was also reasonable! The cakes this bakery made for my son's first birthday were AMAZING. We had a vanilla sheet cake with buttercream frosting. The cake was light and fluffy, and the buttercream was a soft, light texture. It is the most delicious cake I have ever had. Our guests gave it multiple compliments. The customer service is great. The staff helped us decide on details for the cake, and guided us through their many options. They offer a large variety of flavors, fillings, and toppings. The environment is warm, friendly, and clean. They handle their products with care. The decorations on the cake came out exactly as ordered. We unfortunately didn't get a photo with the cake topper on, but in the empty space we placed a bull figurine. It was beautiful. His smash cake was so adorable and he loved diving into it. Got a number of pre-sliced cakes to try out. The older woman whom im assuming is either owner or maybe head baker is very knowledgeable and friendly. The younger girl at counter was nice but gave very vague 1-2 word responses. Coffee was not fresh at all but the cakes were all amazing. Fluffy, delicious and light. Ate some of the leftover cake the following day and it was still as fresh as the day we bought it. Hadnt dried out at all. Did not try their cookies or cupcakes so cant speak to how those are. Very disappointed. I called on a Monday to inquire about a wedding cake. I was advised by a woman on the phone that I would not need to make an appointment and suggested I come in whenever. I went into the bakery four days later to which I was then told by the same woman I had spoken to over the phone that I needed to make an appointment. She requested I return that Saturday at 1pm. Furthermore, I feel it is worth noting that there was not one person in the bakery when I arrived the day of to order my wedding cake. Both women I interacted with were very rude and unwelcoming. Such a shame considering I have heard wonderful things about the quality of their cakes but due to their awful customer service I will not be doing business with Sunrise Bakery nor making any recommendations of such. read more

OMG, I waited way too long to post my review of Sunrise Bakery, but boy do you need to go try them right away, delish! I dropped by after lunch on my drive up the valley on 99 after seeing the lovely seating and very pretty shop next to the sandwich place. There weren't many people around, and I don't know why because the ladies working the counter were so nice and had so many beautiful and tasty treats. I was greeted warmly and offered great responses to my questions about their baked items. They had a ton of goods for sale, from nuts to dried fruit to breads and packaged items. I ended up getting an assortment of cookies, a scone and a great sweet bread from Armenia. The cookies were OK, the bakery specialty was a little dry with lots of cinnamon. The blueberry scone was fantastic, light dough with a velvety sweet glaze. The real star was the badam bouree, a sweet bread with cinnamon and cardamom. The spices add an extra flavor that adds a complex and sumptuous taste to this regional delight. Next time you need some sweets, some bread, a cake or anything else baked, come in to Sunrise Bakery for a great treat. read more

Sunrise bakery was my go to bakery for cakes...but not any longer. I had issues a few years ago for my birthday cake. Went to pick up my cake at the requested time but the cake wasn't even decorated. Had to wait until they finished decorating it and go back in to pick it up. Thought I'd give em another try. Placed an order for my daughter's first birthday earlier this month, a quarter sheet and a smash cake. Went to pick it up today and nothing. No cakes to be found. The lady spent 20 minutes trying to find my order/cakes. Still no cakes. Was told by the lady not to panic. Had to show her the text messages between myself and her. She finally found my order and was told the cake was going to be delivered. We FINALLY got the cakes...1.5 hours later. To top it off, my husband found a strand of blonde hair in his cake. YUCK!!! The cakes are delicious, hence the 2 stars. But I'm never gonna order from them again or ever refer anyone else to them. read more
