Tommy was very professional. Listed options on plumbing and went with unions vs hard gluing 2" PVC schedule 40 connections. So if pump were to have issues in future no more cutting pipes. Just loosened and swap in the new pump. Tommy worked digitally and had it in just under 2 hours and helped me set optimized pump program settings on mobile app. He painted the white PvC pipe so that the suns PVC don't harm the pipe. I would highly recommend Dynamic pools for installing bare pool pump. Price was fair and install was smooth without any hitches. 5 stars

For over two and a half years, routine visits went smoothly and I was a satisfied customer. Unfortunately, my experience with the owner, Edward, when a problem occurred completely changed my opinion of the company. During a recent service visit, the technician used a hose to clean the pool filter. This same hose had been used during previous visits without any issues. However, when he went to turn the water on, the handle broke with light pressure. Edward later came to my home to try to fix the issue himself but was unable to repair it. At that point he suggested that I either call a plumber or use his handyman. His handyman also told me that the repair cost would be covered. Because the water to my house had to be shut off for the entire day, I needed the problem resolved as soon as possible. A plumbing company was able to come sooner than the handyman, so I had them complete the repair. The total cost ended up being about $500. When I sent the invoice to Edward, his response was immediately defensive. He stated that he was not going to pay for the repair and began bringing up unrelated examples instead of addressing what had actually happened. In an effort to resolve the situation fairly, I even offered to split the repair cost with him, but he refused that as well. Edward repeatedly claimed the handle broke because it was plastic and "bound to break eventually." However, this same hose had been used during past service visits without issue, and I had never been told that the part was fragile or at risk of breaking. If a component used during routine service is known to be fragile or near failure, that would be important information to communicate to a homeowner before it breaks during service. Mistakes can happen in any service industry. What matters is how they are handled. Instead of working toward a reasonable solution, the situation was dismissed and no responsibility was taken. After being a loyal customer since September 2023, it was disappointing to see how quickly the tone changed when a problem occurred. When you hire a professional service company, you expect them to stand behind their work if something goes wrong. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Situations like this are important for homeowners to be aware of, because they show how issues may be handled if something goes wrong during a service visit. Because of how this situation was handled, I will be finding a different pool service moving forward.

I was a client of Bishop Pool Service for about five years. I inherited them from the previous…read moreowner, so they're well aware of my pool being a saltwater pool. That said, it was always a challenge to get them to use salt instead of chlorine when they would adjust chemicals and clean my pool. No matter how many times I asked, they would forget and continue to use chlorine, which unfortunately was too harsh on my toddler's skin. I made multiple calls about this and reminded the technicians multiple times about this, but I would still get a new technician every six to nine months, and I had to start all over again. The two straws that broke the camel's back were: 1. A 30% increase in monthly pricing 2. A new technician explaining that the reason they can't add salt is because it slows down his route I switched over to Ralphie's Pool Service and am already much, much happier. Ralphie's pricing is significantly less expensive, they bring their own pool salt, and they don't even charge you for the salt. Bishop also charges $300 to clean pool filters compared to $100 with Ralphies. Joel (my technician for the past year at Bishop) was awesome btw.

Well, he made a big deal out of it and said his system isn't set up up for him to easily retrieve them. He agreed to record them for the next month and leave them for me. Well, I became suspicious that past readings were not available as my last service had them readily available, so I checked my security cameras and saw week after week he never did any pool measurements and just randomly poored chemicals out of their gallon containers without measuring. I fired him immediately. The new service did a full reading on my pool and it was all whacked out and unswimmable. Glad I found this out before the warm weather and have time to correct the issues, which includes draining my pool! Integrity and honesty are the utmost importance. As a business owner, and somebody who has been a loyal client to this company I would expect a business owner to at minimum, contact the individual back and have an adult conversation explaining the situation.
